Alien is a 1979 science-fiction horror film that had it all; a kick-ass hero played perfectly by Sigourney Weaver, directed to visual perfection by the legendary Ridley Scott and introduced one of cinemas most terrifying villains designed by H.R. Giger. The film still looks great by today's standards.
