Elephant Made of Ivory Tusks Brings Attention to Poaching
This is kind of cool. #Repost @dswt ・・・ In an effort to raise awareness for Africa's threatened elephants, a life-size sculpture made entirely from #ivory tusks (from elephants who died of natural causes) will now greet arrivals at Gaborone's international airport in #Botswana. The sculpture's aim is to "raise collective consciousness about the plight confronting the African #elephant." #DSWT followers, we're curious: what are your thoughts on this sculpture?
