I hate when he tries to use AAVE
The fact that John Cena has never Tweeted me, or RT me makes me want to almost cry. :/ I know that may sound pathetic, but it would make my world. ♥
The Rock says he is going to F@£k up John Cena at Wrestlemania
Randy Orton speaks to ESPN on Wrestlemania and growing up in Wrestling.
On The Rocks return and his program with John Cena -
The Rock recently came back to WWE. What do you think of his return so far, and what can we expect to happen when he's actually live on Raw this Monday and he's finally inside the same ring as John Cena and The Miz?
Orton: That's an interesting topic. I know them both and I know Cena a lot better than I know The Rock, obviously, but I've been in the ring with both cutting promos and wrestling. I have to say, though, talking about the whole ring rust thing, John Cena has had about 2,000 matches in the last seven years. The Rock? A big, fat zero. So when it comes to ring rust, I don't care what type of athlete you are, and The Rock is obviously an athletic dude, but Cena has been in the ring. He's been at every show and in every show and making appearances and he has been on the road with the WWE over 300 days a year for the last seven years. The Rock? Virtually nonexistent. You see the interviews that The Rock does and he says that he doesn't want to be known as a wrestler. He doesn't want to be known as a sports entertainer or a performer with WWE or a WWE superstar. He wants to be known as an actor. Now all of a sudden he's back in our world telling the fans what they want to hear. He's telling them, "I promise that I will never go away again. I promise that I'm back for good and that I'm here to stay." He said that, what, six or seven weeks ago? Have we even seen him live since then? No. Via satellite. I think Cena will own The Rock. I think Cena is wittier and can go off the cuff. Cena writes his own stuff, while The Rock has stuff written for him. It just all comes down to who you are in the ring and what kind of performer you are in the ring, and I think Cena is 10 times the performer in the ring that The Rock is. This Monday in Chicago, he'll prove it.
On growing up in the business -
Growing up and watching your dad in Wrestlemania, did you ever think that one day not only that you'd be starring in the show but that the event would become as big as it has?
Orton: Definitely not. I remember the first Wrestlemania; I was four years old. Nobody had any idea what it would become. Then, 20 years later, there we were in the same arena as the first Wrestlemania, Madison Square Garden, and I'm in a match with Ric Flair and Batista on my team and I'm facing Mick Foley and none other than The Rock. I end up winning the match for us, but my dad was in the stands and it was just a really cool moment, 20 years in the making. I never thought in a million years that I'd even get into the business, let alone be successful. But step by step, I got there, and here I am; I think this is my seventh or eighth Wrestlemania. I've really become a student of the game. I've learned from all the guys I've been blessed to be in the ring with and against, and I've learned a lot from guys outside the ring -- guys like Flair and Triple H and Vince McMahon and, of course, my father. Now I'm one of the top guys and I couldn't be happier. My career couldn't be going any smoother, any better. I feel very confident where I am right now in my career headed to Wrestlemania.
On Wrestlemania -
As a fan, outside of your match, which match are you most looking forward to watching?
Orton: I hate to say the obvious, but I think Triple H versus The Undertaker is going to be very interesting. The only thing that they don't have going for them is the amount of time both guys have been outside of the ring the last year. Triple H wrestled Sheamus at Wrestlemania 26, then either the night after or a couple of weeks later, Sheamus put him on the shelf. Triple H ended up tearing his bicep, having some neck problems and filming a couple of movies. He was out of the picture, but that's good for a guy who has been in the business 20 years. He has three baby girls and he's married to Stephanie McMahon, so he's a family man, too, and that's important. But as far as headlining the biggest show of them all, he has to have a little ring rust on him. Of course, he is "The Game," he is Triple H and he's one of the best, if not the best, in my opinion when it comes to this generation, but that ring rust will do you in. Your timing is very important when it comes to hitting the ropes and how many steps you need to take in order to execute this move or that move. I don't know if he's in the ring hitting the ropes and getting his stamina up, but that could be a factor in this match. I guess we won't know until it's all said and done if these guys have been training, and who knows what The Undertaker has been doing. But if there's anyone who has been around and knows what they're doing, nobody knows better than The Undertaker. And I think no matter what happens, this is going to be one of the most anticipated matches on the pay-per-view.

The Miz - Deserving Champion?
The last few weeks I have been reading so many things on dirt sheet sites, forums, and especially twitter about The Miz being an undeserving WWE champion and I for one don’t this this is entirely true. I have to say I was never really a fan of The Miz before he became the WWE Champion, I thought when he was tagging with Morrison he was totally overshadowed in the ring, it reminded me a lot of the early days of The Hardy Boys. Matt was great in the ring and worked so hard on his wrestling then Jeff dives of the top rope and the crowd goes wild, and Matt never really got the credit he deserved and this has been shown over the 10+ years Matt spent in the WWE and was never really given the opportunity to run with a major heavyweight title. (unless you could the ECW title) Although one big difference between the Hardys and Miz/Morrison, Miz stood out on the mic, which could be one of the main reasons why there where such a successful tag team. Don’t get me wrong I don’t think that Miz is the greatest wrestler on the WWE roster, and I don’t think he thinks he is for that matter but there isn’t any doubt that he can carry a match when its needed, he over the years in the ring built a solid array of moves that he has made his own, unfortunately he was missing that one finisher that he owned. But now with the ’Skull Crushing Finale’ which is the most ridiculous name for a finisher, but is a pretty solid finisher.
What I’m trying to say is, saying he is undeserving is a but of an overstatement, there have been far more undeserving WWE Champions in history, Ultimate Warrior for one, the fans loved him there is no doubt about it that but he was not good in the ring. And more recently, Shamus. He is great in the ring, he really knows how to use his power and he knows how to take a big move well, but he was in the company for less than four months and won the WWE championship. Than in my book is undeserving, I understand that they wanted to push him hard to be a huge star fast, but look where he is now jobbing for Bourne and Henry? In a green cape and plastic crown? And unfortunately I can see Del Rio going the same way if they give him the World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 27 It too much too soon.
But I cant see this happening with Miz, I think he has earned a lot of respect from the backstage officials with his work ethic and the way he represents himself and the WWE, this is a lot like how Cena first became Champion, I think the same could be said for Cena when he first won the Championship, what had he done to cement himself as a solid WWE Champion?
In my opinion, I think WWE could of spend a little more time on The Miz and built the character some more, but then his Money In The Bank would have been a lot less shocking, because I doubt there was very many fans who watched him win that match who wasn’t shocked, I know I was. I think he has tough time ahead of him going into Wrestlemania, against Cena, and with The Rock thrown in the mix too, it will defiantly be interesting. I was wandering if he would successfully be able to insert himself in the middle of the Rock/Cena rivalry, but after the promo he cut on a recent weeks Raw which I think landed better than Cena’s, and finishing with the Peoples Elbow he defiantly looks to be coming out of Wrestlemania and a huge heel, with or with out the WWE Championship.
The Rock vs John Cena
After years of being a Wrestling fan and seeing many superstars come and go, try and fail and the title change hands more times than I can remember 13 of them belonging to The Game, 16 of them belonging to The Nature boy Ric Flair, John Cena winning his first title and Shawn Michaels being retired by the undertakers Wrestlemania streak.
This is what kick started my blogging -
The Great One's seven year absence from the ring came to an end just a couple of weeks ago and now he is to host Wrestlemania. For Attitude era fans this is has been a long time in the making. With the additional announcement that the one and only Stone Cold Steve Austin is to return to train the next generation of super stars in the upcoming series of Tough Enough, what more could us fans ask for?? Wait we didn't ask, but we got. In the clip above The Rock responds to comments made by John Cena in an interview with The Sun in March 08 ( http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/wrestling/871607/Read-John-Cena-interview-in-full-John-Cena-Wrestling.html ), and this has now become a social media frenzy. Cena response in the only way the Doctor of Thug a nomics can -
This in my opinion is John Cena single greatest ''PG'' Promo, very cutting edge very focused and if you are going to get into a linguistic battle with The Rock (to coin a phrase) you better be able to 'Bring It' and here Cena certainly did. And to finish of a hat Trick, i have to share The Rocks come back. The emotion in this and the electricity that delivers this is outstanding.
(Yes I have been a Rock fan since day one)
The thing that's me about all these cuts is that the main event at Wrestlemania is Cena v Miz yet the Miz is getting 0 attention for what he is doing. Michael Cole and Jerry 'The King' Lawler are doing better than Mike The Miz (in my opinion) So what do you think about WWE's Wrestlemania build up?
There will be more to follow on this including HHH V The Undertaker (seems everyone is taking it to the next level)
