I'm a mythology nut who likes a spooky aesthetic, but I'm not a total Hades fanboy. I don't have much issue with him, but he did kidnap his wife. That being said, he is infinitely better than Zeus, especially when it comes to his family. Zeus: This is my psycho wife who I cheat on constantly, these are the offspring of those cheatings. These are our children together, one of whom she tossed off a cliff and the other of whom is considered an all around loser.
Hades: This is my wife, mortals fear to speak her name lest they incur her wrath. This is my daughter Melinoe, she roams the world at night with an entourage of ghosts causing nightmares. We are perfectly functional and also each terrifying in our own way. and then over in the corner you have Nyx: I have more children than I can keep track of and half of them represent blights upon mankind.
