Scientists discover water on the distant planet
The more technology advances, the more human curiosity is added to learning on distant planets. By placing powerful telescopes in the space capable of capturing and bringing images from hundreds of thousands of light-years away, recent discoveries have been great. One of them is the one published in the journal Nature by scientists at the University of Maryland in the United States.
They claim to have found water traces on a planet, located in the Cygnus star, about 124 light-years away and has a size about four times more than Earth. This planet, according to American scientists, contains steam-like water. They arrived at this conclusion during the observation with 3 different telescopes, aided by the field of sight in the atmosphere of the planet when the latter was passing in front of his star. The discovery is considered of particular importance to the fact that studying the atmosphere of large planets can help scientists find extraterrestrial lives in other galaxies.
