Bubbles was nervous. He had been to parties like this before, but never with an alien. An alien queen. A Stardroid. He was fussing at his suit coat. They had picked it out together, but he was still worried that it wouldn’t be good enough. He figured she wouldn’t be the only Stardroid there, and he may actually be paraded about and introduced to them. He wanted to at least not come off as pathetic.

He was waiting in the lobby for Venus, the least he could do was enter the main room with her. He kept glancing at a mirror, finding something else to fuss about. Was that a loose thread? Was his hair sticking up or out at a funny angle? Was his mask straight???

Bubbles slapped his cheeks lightly. He needed to calm down, he was going to over heat and he hadn’t even had a drink yet. Venus would get here soon and then he could stop panicking. Yes. Good. Focus on that.
