I am so sick of the attitude in Indian cinema (especially of Bwood though I am sure this is true in any industry) that women are more prone to mediocrity. I just cannot from my heart believe this and no actor you name drop will make me think so. I mean when you allow for males (okay let's be real now I am just talking about mainstream Bollywood) to have such a longer span in which they are still held as main box office draw as well as allowed to grow with stories and characterization that gives the focus on them then there surely will be "generation's actor" like Amitabh Bachchan. This is why I get so fucking irritated when people do name drop actors like him and Dharmendra etc as how actresses should grow because NO.
