weird alterhuman culture is being coniferkin and looking at a forest and going "my siblings!!!"
awww cute!
I don't need to touch grass I need to touch an entire forest. I want to touch a forest. God I wish there was a forest near me so I can touch it (in a SEX way)
Am I not alive
in the way a plant is alive ?
when I lift my arm
and hold it to the light
veins trail beneath the skin
green and branching
not unlike the veins of a leaf .
what is blood if not sap ?
phytanthropy has actually brought me so much enrichment generally. like, yes, i appreciated trees and redwoods specifically before i actively identified as one, but realizing i am one has caused me to look into redwoods more. i’ve learned so much about their ecosystems and features and even silviculture. i could squawk about redwoods for hours. i’m planning an educational project to help the organizations protecting, managing, and researching redwoods. and now i’m known as the redwood guy! i’ve been been told “you ARE a redwood tree” by someone who has no clue about my alterhumanity. that is always the best feeling :)
holy species dysphoria bro wdym i laid on the grass and cried cuz i wasnt one of them zawg
perhaps one of the greatest things that bring me euphoria as a tree phytanthrope is wearing rings. trees have rings to show their age, so i adore fitting myself with as many rings as possible to come close to my own. rings on every finger, bracelets, loop piercings, belts, necklaces, anklets, anything i can get my branches on. how i'm perceived is and should be heavily influenced by how many rings you see
