I like that almost everyone is horrified when you acend as Astarion, but meanwhile Gale is like "Looking good buddy! 🙂👍"

I love that alot of the gifs of A!A I see, they've given him the slicked back hair. Like ooh he's evil now? Push that hair back. Make him ears. It's a universal feeling lol
Exalted vampiric master vibes <3
What do you guys hc happened when A!A turns the player? I know alot of people think the vampiric bride ritual or whatever it's called seems to explain things. I've also seen people say they become a true vampire and Astarion just doesn't tell them outright that he has no real power over them. Then I've seen people (avid A!A haters lol) say that the player is his thrall with no free will that just becomes his toy.
What do you think happened? I think they don't become a vampire spouse or a true vampire, but a secret third thing where there is a bond, but the player retains their free will and stays with him because they truly want to. Otherwise they'd just break up with him. Which he throws a fit about but does let happen. So yeah. idk! Hatred towards the character isn't what I'm looking for. I genuinely want to know what people think. Because the game makes it very clear that the way the player is turned is different from how Astarion was.
There's my pookie <3
The new bad ending in bg3 where you can betray your lover and A!A basically says "no you cant, this is impossible." He really thinks he has control over you and hes invincible. When you betray him it blows his mind, cannot even be comprehended.
When A!A tells Tav that they've "Givin [him] everything." And that he wants to lock them away to keep them all to himself, it gives me the creeps. Feels like forshadowing.
I hear those lines and I'm like 😬
i wanna fuck my coworker soooooooooo bad
