☼ → Iris had simply been dozing off on the edge of a fountain, resting in the center of a small-ish plaza in a well-known park. The brunette snapped awake at the sound of nearby footsteps, the rainbow-eyed girl groaning and rubbing at her eyes. She had heard stories of girls getting taken advantage of in parks while sleeping! Sure, she was a Goddess who could handle herself, but she'd gone quite far in the future from the time when she was a human.
As she stood up, she noticed a shadow or two coming closer, and stretched nonchalantly, yawning. Unlike Apollo, she had no temple to home herself in, as she'd become a Goddess near the end of the strongly religious Greek era. That, and even though she was a Goddess from the stories humans had told, no one really counted her as one of such power, deserving of a throne.
As the shadow came closer, she realized it was coming quite fast, and when it burst into the light of one of the streetlamps, she gave a small laugh in realization that it was merely a dog. She whistled it over and began scratching the dog's ears before she heard a rustling behind her. "Who's there?" She asked, pivoting around, but still petting the dog slightly. ☁
