He spoke to me in my dream

the past few months, i've been quite bothered what my belief was about Him. i've decided to become a realist and believe only that which i could see. in this course, i swore to myself to continue believing in a Higher Being joint with my realistic views. a talk with some of my friends had me lost in denial, which left into a belief that heaven and hell does not exist. it is a mere idea to create a fearful distinction between what is good and what is evil. i lost myself, i lost my belief.

in a dream i had, just a few hours ago, my gradfather appeared to me. he asked to search this bible verse, 15:23. i pondered hard on what message he was giving me. so i decided, like that which i did in the dream.. i googled it. funny, i know, even in my subconscious mind i google the things i am ignorant of. the first verse that popped out was that of Samuel. i don't really know my bible. i remember going to bible study when i was young, but back then my mind was only focused on what food we were going to be served and what games and songs we were to play after.

well going back, when i read the first few words of the verse, my heart started to pound. i had second thoughts if i would continue reading. but i decided so, the verse read:

"For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has rejected you as king."

i know now what the message meant. i know now where my grandfather rests.
