Blue Soul Ch 10
SAVOIR FAIRE – I can not believe you are sitting in the captain’s office in a bloody Guillaume Le Million tee shirt and sweat pants.
SUGGESTION – At least you found your patrol cloak hanging in the office. You are technically in uniform.
SAVOIR FAIRE – With torn, dirty sweatpants. Did you vomit on these?
You run a hand gently over your sweaty forehead and look down. There is certainly… something unidentified staining the pants, not to mention a bloody patch on the knee. You return your gaze to the captain.
EMPATHY – He looks pissed.
“So this note was attached to a brick?” The captain looks down at the evidence in front of him. Judit had dropped it and you off with the Captain after a visit to Gottlieb who hadn’t been pleased about your new injury, but after poking and prodding declared the only thing left was to rest and heal.
“Uh, yes?”
AUTHORITY – This is your captain. Show some respect.
You sit up straight, “I mean, yes sir?” You squint at him, trying to get your fully operational eye to focus. He waits, watching you, “I am having a hard time remembering exactly what happened,” you admit.
“I don’t like this Du Bois.” He slides his notes and files forward, clearing a space on his desk. Fingers running over the bagged note. “One officer killed and two others deliberately attacked in one week?”
ESPRIT DE CORPS – Even for Precinct 41, that is exceptionally bad. Getting injured in the execution of your duties is different than an explicit threat and attack on an officer.
