You know, it just occurred to me.

So back when I tried to do a Kirby/Pokemon AU, I gave Gooey a Goomy as his partner (makes sense, their names are similar)

And then a few years later, I'm working on a Kirby fanfiction where he has a Wheelie Bike partner named Gummy (it's named after the gummies in Air Riders but still).

In conclusion: Gooey's pets will inevitably have a name similar to his.
