being a fan of bbc sherlock is so insidious because i can just be sitting here and then i have to remember how they wrote a line into the show where mrs hudson says “ms turner next door has married ones” to john and sherlock meaning that ms turner is the landlady for a married gay couple. and i also have to know that in the original arthur conan doyle stories ms turner was sherlock’s landlady. and i have to know that they KNEW this when they wrote that line. so what am i supposed to do with this information.
