Damn bro I just saw your hiveswap style art and that style is HELLA deceptive, it looks simple and cartoony at a glance but zooming in you clearly have an amazing understanding of both anatomy and 3d forms necessary to make those simple shapes accurately convey head angles and body movements and all that jazz. You're an incredible artist!

Thank you! I try my best- especially when it comes to other peoples OCs since those are the majority of the hiveswap style characters. Fr though props to the parents of said OCs cuz yall come up with some pretty cool characters.

You can do a lot with the little cartoony style once you get it down from drawing all the structure. Plus do like knowing a bit about the characters I'm drawing so I can add a lil flair in their poses. People have some really fun stories to tell and I do enjoy listening to them.

Hey I saw you spoke about Milo being mentioned on John Oliver. What did he say and do you have the link for the episode?

Basically the joke was showing this guy at a police training conference describing how much he liked violence, and he looked a little bit like Milo. John said something about how the guy’s bird-patterned shirt didn’t match his persona, which he would best describe as “Milo Ventimiglia if he’d been raised on a diet of nothing but hate and [I forget the other thing]”

In short, he said the guy in the clip looked kinda like Milo, but was talking like a serial killer, which probably isn’t a good thing to have going on at a police training conference. My goofy ass was just happy seeing my fav mentioned lmao. I’ll link to the video when the Last Week Tonight channel uploads it

Hi there, sorry for the delayed response! I'm really hoping that I do continue 'everything you hoped for'. Life is busy and tiring though, which makes it hard to get into the mindset to write. It still really bothers me that it's unfinished, it will definitely be the focus for any energy I have for writing into the future.

I think I used elliedina week a couple years back as a way of trying to ease myself back into writing and hopefully continuing 'everything you hoped for'. It kinda worked, kinda didn't work - so while I was tempted to participate in the prompts this year, I decided not to so I didn't go down a new rabbit hole and create more work for myself.

I've written roughly 2,000 words so far for the next chapter, and a 1,000 for the one after that. Maybe 8,000 words all up in draft scenes and notes that haven't been published yet.

I've got a synopsis for each of the remaining chapters to conclude the narrative arc with the story anticipated to be between 20-21 chapters by the time it's finished (only 12 published so far). I still need to figure out the scenes that make up the chapters though (and then write them).

I'm not sure when I'll be able to post anything next, I'm undecided about whether I should post the next chapter as soon as it's done or wait until I'm further ahead in writing so I don't get anyone's hopes up and have a chance of trying to build a rhythm. I get a lot of motivation from posting and getting engagement, or getting nice asks like yours, so I'm not really sure. Thank you for the serotonin boost though, you're definitely the reason I'm working on the story again today.

Just wanted to say... your Doom G/t fic inspired me to buy the game (2016). That might sound silly but I've enjoyed stuff like Bioshock but for some reason was on the fence with Doom. I love the game AND can't stop thinking G/t scenarios. Doomguy makes such a great giant.
