A Nightlight

It wasn't often that he found himself this tired. Or ached in places he distantly remembered were old welds. Especially the one from where his leg had to be reattached. But, he also never used his sonic ability often either. Mainly because the material he had been built with had been made to resist the strain, but the repairs done had weakened the structure.. and had been done using lower grade metals.

Now, he had only used his 'voice' in that way because he had found no other way to get the twins – who were attempting to dismantle each other and a training room – to stop. Granted, afterwards Sunstreaker ended up having to monitor his systems when he crashed.

But now he was up, and able to move, after a sol of resting. Mostly by his own insistence. Sunstreaker was not happy, but he also had other things to deal with. Like Sideswipe, who had pulled another vanishing trick when neither were watching him.

So, as it was, Blaster was making his way to the quarters that had first been assigned to him when he had ended up on the Lost Light. He wasn't really expecting to get any recharge, given how well he did when he tried that when alone. Nightmares still snapped at his heels whenever he tried to recharge by himself, often jerking him online in the middle of his rest.

When the door to his quarters opened, he stared down the berth as if it were a monster, until something brushed up against his leg. He jerked, twisting around to find what had touched him, only to see.. nothing. Well, before he looked down. Nugget, the cat owed by First Aid and Music – his Lost Light alternate – purred up at him.

Right before darting into his room, and up onto his berth.

Blaster sighed, shaking his helm. He wasn't going to wake Aid for something as simple as Nugget being in the wrong room. The cat wasn't hurting anything, and.. well, he could use the company. So, that in mind, he climbed into his berth, and let the cat curl up with him.
