Have a 1:1 appointment to teach some aspiring authors about bookstagram tomorrow but it has been recommended to me that the best way to engage with this is via the meta business suite. UNFORCHUNATELY because I refuse to deal with Facebook and because it is terrible I cannot get access to the business suite on my work laptop.

I am logged in to the app but I cannot change my password without using a 2 factor from a defunct email.

I logged in on my phone browser using my phone number and what I thought was the correct password. It let me in with a phone confirmation number. This one came through. It won't let me change the password or anything though because "I don't normally use this browser"

Using the same phone number and password does not allow me to log in on my laptop

Other login attempts asking it to send me a code to my phone does not send a code to my phone. I thought this was because I switched mobile carriers a few years ago (not numbers) but then I got the code from a non-app attempt.

Life is all about masks. About the ones you wear, who you wear the around, the different ones you have, and who you let see beneath them. Sometimes you find people who you think you can trust to see the real you so you let them in, only for them to hurt you and for you to rethink everything about who you let in. I've found that more often you find people who should see under but we are too scared or worried about who we really are that we never give them the chance too. So we create other, new, masks that we wear to convince them and more so ourselves that this is who we really are. That never works because the longer you know someone the more of your masks they will eventually see. They will figure out what masks you wear in what situations and will inevitably find out that you've never taken yours off completely. It will hurt everyone around you and force you to be alone. I'm at a place in my life where I am staring at a wall full of all the masks I've worn, next to a mirror with one still on my face that I've worn the longest, it's the mask I wear to hide myself from everyone, including myself. I dont know who is beneath it and the thought of finding out is not something that I find enjoyable to do. I'm mostly embarrassed, I'm 29 and I have no idea who I am or what I'm really like. I've always joked that my personality was easily summed up as "fuck it, what's the worst that could happen" and I think it's time to really live by that instead. So fuck it, time to figure out who I am.
