What if Alastor actually admires Charlie for that? Charlie, the one who we know is 100% controlling getting into demon form, who is always smiling even though she has her own problems.

What if Alastor wasnt lying about the whole "you are like the daughter that i spawned" but not in the sense of fatherhood but recognition of one self?

Meaning: Alastor saw in Charlie what he sees in himself. And he wants Charlie to follow into his footsteps because he can die but Charlie wont ever.
