I genuinely think that if someone says that asking for consent isnt sexy they simply haven't read a fanfiction in their entire lives. These are ways off the top of my head that I've seen in fics that made me giggle and kick my feet. Yes they work irl -
"Can I?" - said while gesturing to the thing they want to do, typically when tugging on the hem of their lovers shirt or reaching for a belt buckle. Simple. Classic. We love it here
"Tell me what you like and I'll do it for you" - Self explanatory, not only did you ask for consent, but you have now created a safe space for your partner to tell you where they like to be touched
"How much of me do you want tonight" - I dont remember the fic but fuck if it wasnt hot. The characters involved weren't in an official relationship yet, things were getting heavy after a few dates and it was said before they went any further
"I'll do whatever you want, baby, just ask" - Self explanatory I fear. And again, creating safe spaces for your partner to tell you how they like being handled! I feel like this one and a few others is more so for when the relationship is established and there have been conversations (hopefully, because you should be having these conversations) about boundaries during intimacy
"Can I kiss you?" - Not really referring to anything raunchy but it's so cute I dont care.
Honestly, sometimes you dont even have to ask aloud, if there's a flow going and there are obvious nonverbal signs like expressions and certain reactions (moaning, loud/shaky breathing/ exessive touching on their end, etc.) you can do the "can I?" thing with just a look and a gesture. Wait for their nod, or their "yes" or their "please" and keep it pushing. There are more but like you get the point man. People that think asking for consent cant be hot in the big 2025 have no game and are also just looking for excuses not to <3
