Bride of frankenstein By Bruce Timm
Art pieces by Bruce Timm inspired by the 1967 film Frankenstein Created Woman, starring Peter Cushing & Susan Denberg.
A quick little drawing I did of Jason, he has the axe wound from part III. Currently watching part VI: Jason Lives. Drawn on a phone, which I haven't tried before.
Behind the scenes shots of Heather Langenkamp as Nancy Fhompson before the iconic bathtub scene on the set of “A Nightmare on Elm Street” (1984)

This may not be the origin of the franchise but it was certainly the movie with which the die was cast. So much of what I love of the series can be found here: The ominous Jason as antagonist, a multitude of murder sequences and a favourite of mine, what I call Friday the 13th window break.
One thing I wish to mention, as a wheelchair user myself I find that the inclusion of the character of Mark and how he was portrayed in the the movie by Tom McBride, as well as the way in which friendships and relationships are shown shows what a consider a light and deft touch, a surprise due to the heavy handed nature of Slasher movies.
That and many other reasons is why this movie has a little spot in my heart and is, to me, pretty faultless, except for the fact if I had my choice I'd have Mark and Vickie be the ones to be victorious, but hey we can't have everything.

From the dirt back to his roots, camp councillors beware.
I love this one with it's frankenstein-esque beginning. This is where the series jumps the supernatural shark and I love it.
Over the top strength kills, a badass final girl (I think possibly my favourite of mine series), a good soundtrack, and a great Tommy Jarvis casting. This is the shock to the system the franchise needed and is proof lightning can strike twice.
Doctor Who 2024
S01E01 - Space Babies 7/10
( I disagree with this being referred to as season one but oh well )
I'll be honest I liked the babies in this episode. I know the babies annoyed some people, but I'm a new Dad, and it felt as though it was written to pull my heart strings. Most elements I liked, the concept and creature design. I struggled with the empathy change toward the creature but understand it in context.
The one thing I find unforgivable is the lazy reuse of exact scenes and dialogue. You can call this new season, season one if you must but he is the 15th doctor; from a writing standpoint it's lazy and from an in plot standpoint it makes this incarnation of the doctor seem as though he now views the companions themselves as recyclable and interchangeable
Family Outing Today
Off to an animal park today with the family (even my dad is going!) lets hope we don’t kill each other.
