A Shadow Passed | Bobby & Peter
After getting Peter’s text at intermission, Bobby was filled with a sense of relief mixed with nervousness. He knew better than to try to read into the tone of a text message, but he was a little worried that Peter was still upset with him over what had happened the other night. But at least he’d stopped giving Bobby the cold shoulder altogether, and wanted to talk. That was a good start towards sorting things out between them.
He was changed and out the door as quickly as possible after the show ended, pulling his hat over his face as he ducked through the small crowd already starting to gather at the stage door. He reached Peter’s building for the second time that day, and once again headed for the ninth floor, pausing at Peter’s doorway to breathe for a minute before ringing the doorbell.
