"Excuse me," Tegan called out to a walker with a little wave. "Mind if I use your eyes for a moment? The owner of this shop lost his keys and I'm not seeing them out here.."
Seaside Holiday - Joshua and Iona
It was three days into his holiday and Joshua was already bored. It had seemed a good idea at the time: escape to another country, enjoy the sun, the sea, and a fortnight of rest and relaxation. The issue had come when he’d realised the beaches were busy enough he was going to have to enjoy the sea purely as a human. So the first day he’d gone out and bought a surfboard, figuring it looked fun.
It turned out Josh wasn’t very good at surfing.
He was at a loss for what to do next when he’d seen the advertisement for the boat trip and he’d quickly phoned the number and booked himself on one for the following day. Wandering down to the docks the next morning, Joshua had managed to find the boat advertised.
“Hello?” he called out, looking around for the boat’s owner. “Permission to come on board?”
