OK. haven't posted here in a while. but... just some key characters, and notes i want to elaborate on in the future for this setting.

key characters:

briar moon, and his mother. the two of them are major, key leaders in fate's heart, and briar himself centers around a lot of controversy there. wuya. wuya is tied to somnima almost directly. she's a mysterious performer, who has an enchanting voice, and an enigmatic persona. renata. a dream weaver, tied to all three of the major gods. tiche. a strange individual tied heavily to anima, and aether inc. jericho. well i mean. this is just. the boothill insert into my world lore. at least where i have him. he's out for revenge against aether inc for the experiments conducted that destroyed his home.

dive into the politics of fate's heart. and the turmoil on vitalas. vitalas is tied to anima and neighbors fate's heart very closely. the two are considered twin planets. it was once three but, somnima's world madeis was separated upon it's death.

the settings itself IS semi-futuristic. taking inspiration from bladerunner, but also tevinter from veilguard. idk. in my head it's a complex mix of thematic contradictions. technology is pretty advanced, but also limited based on status and money. there's some underground groups who thieve from the rich, and modify stuff for the use of people who can't afford high end stuff. but it's usually,,, illegal.

aether incorporated is important too. and actually plays a massive role in all the aforementioned technological advancements. they're pretty much publicly known to conduct experiments to further said technology. and it's something the major cities and the rich folk tend to look away from and ignore... in favor of progress. aether inc is responsible for the creation of the corded knights too, and the modifications of the towers. as well as biological enhancements tied to anima.

oh also. the consequences of being found using or having magic. and what people do with those inflicted by feather rot.
