He’s literally carrying his wounded son around and grumpily blaming him for getting shot to try and distract from the fact that he cares so much.
I bet Syaoran weighs nothing to Kurogane too.
I bet he’s like a pillow.
This is such another nice glimpse into the fact that the people on this team are fundamentally GOOD as much as they can be. They’re a shelter for all the survivors in the nearby area, protect them with their lives, and are loved by them in return. It’s a far cry from the situation in X/1999 and I LOVE it.
