BACKSTORY TIIIIME: He's one of my best friends and I met him when I joined cross country last year. We bonded over books at first in an xc book squad (we r still cool but just more distant now) but towards the end of the season gradually grew away.durinf track season, though I had casually mentioned how I had started an anime and it had kept me up all night (yuri on ice lolol my first anime) and he had been interested (I later learned he is the hugest anime nerd lmaooo) and he asked what it was and suggested some amines 4 me to watch (attack on titan and sword art online which now r some of my favs) and I watched and we chatted more and grew closer and found more we had in common. During track season we pretty much ended up talking a lot at meets and such so that people would get slightly suspicious. But it was gr8 and I started liking him and kinda made my crush official to myself (and a few days l8r my no. 1 bestie) and after that we grew closer pretty much until we started hanging out at lunch with said no. 1 best friend. It got to a point where everyone would tease us, many people asked of we dated (our own friends teasingly of course) and around homecoming we both got so much pressure to ask the other to be our date. (Spoiler we only went together as friends :P) sooo today I suggested palyogn truth or dare and tried to be chill about asking him if he liked me and he said yessss and Aaahhhhh it's not super surprising but it's so nice to know officially that he likes me back ya kno? Like there were days I would just hate myself and be like no way he likes me for sure and it stressed me so much and now and I know and yaaaaaayyyyy. He didn't ask me afterwards which prolly means he was confident I did, but I did confirm it for him too. AND AAAAAHHGH THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE ACTUALLY LIKED SOMEONE WHO LIKED ME BACK AND JUST AKSBDBWHSJBD IN SO SHOOK... LIKE THAT ONLY HAPPENS IN MOVIES AND SHIT AAAHHHH
