You know what I suck at? Introducing characters in original shit.

I have relied on fanfic too long. Because you automatically know who I am speaking of when I bring them onto the page (so to speak). 

How do I introduce this new character whom I know intimately but you do not. I am confused.

Their name is ___ and they... look like a human. Yes, very humany indeed.
