request: "it has always been you"
"It's you...it has always been you."
Taekwoon raised the cigarette to his mouth, holding it between his lips for a moment before slowing inhaling. You watched carefully as his chest rose and sank as he blew the smoke into the cold winter air, lowering his arm back down to rest on the railing that he was leaning up against.
You couldn’t quite remember exactly how you had ended up here on Taekwoon’s balcony, watching him smoke a cigarette as you sipped on the steaming cup of coffee in your hands. Your poor memory may have been from the amount of alcohol in your system, or simply because you were just too flustered from being in his presence. It had been a while.
"How are you?" he asked suddenly. You knew the question was sincere, even though his voice was monotone and there was a familiar lack of eye contact. He wouldn’t ask if he didn’t care.
"I’m well," you answered honestly, your index finger swirling around the rim of the coffee mug nervously. "what about you?"
Taekwoon looked down at the cigarette tucked loosely between his fingers, realized that he had finished it off, and stubbed it out on the railing. He then nodded in response to your question, looking back out at the expanse of night sky in front of him.
"I’ve been quite happy, actually." he said quietly, letting a short sigh escape his slightly parted lips. "My life is going where I want it to go, with my career and such."
"Ah," you breathed, forcing a small smile onto your lips. "That’s wonderful. I’m happy for you, I really am." Your words the biggest lie you had ever told, your heart feeling heavy and your head feeling light. You grabbed onto the railing in front of you to steady yourself, catching yourself from collapsing under the weight of your weak interior.
"Yes, it is. Thank you." Taekwoon nodded, turning to you. "Would you like to head back inside-"
"Do you love anyone, Taekwoon?" The words escaped your mouth before even going through your head first, as if your heart had chosen to speak for itself. You could feel your throat closing up as your stared into Taekwoon’s wide eyes, wishing that his answer would never have to come, wishing that you could run now and never have to hear it. But your legs were too weak, your knees ready to collapse from underneath you. You couldn’t move an inch.
Taekwoon nodded, pursing his lips. “I do.” he answered quietly, but so surely. He was in love, deeply in love. You could see it in his eyes, the way they fell slightly closed at just the thought of his love. You couldn’t breathe.
"That - uh - that’s great." you stuttered, trying to collect yourself as best as you could though you knew that it was obvious you were becoming a mess over two simple words. "I’m happy for you, and for her. She’s…she’s a lucky girl." You choked on your words, lowering your head in case tears decided to spill from your eyes. "I should go."
You let go of the railing, only to lean your other hand against the wall, using it as support for your numbing body as you hurried through the balcony door and back into the dimly-lit apartment. Before you could release your hand from the door frame, though, Taekwoon covered it with his own.
"It’s you." he said softly, the words slipping so smoothly off his tongue that you knew they had to be true. "It has always been you."

notes: I asked a friend of mine to request a scenario in the format of the ones that we are currently accepting, as an example for those who may not quite understand the idea of the requests just from the explanation - I hope this was a good enough example~
“You’re like...the cheese to my macaroni.”
~
When the television show you had been watching cut to a commercial, you averted your eyes down to Hongbin’s hand, which you had been holding in both of yours. You spread it out flat, beginning to twirl your index finger in the center of his palm, before starting to going over the dull lines slowly.
“What do you want for dinner?” you asked absently, continuing to trace the lines on his hand, feeling somewhat drowsy as you did. You could feel your eyelids getting heavy, but you weren’t about to let yourself fall asleep this early - you hadn’t both been home for dinner in a while, and you couldn’t just waste your time together so simply.
You felt Hongbin’s shoulder shrug against yours, a hum coming from the back of his throat. “I don’t know.” he replied quietly.
You looked up slowly to meet his eyes, noticing that he had been watching you the entire time. You cleared your throat, suddenly feeling a bit self-conscious with his eyes on you.
“I’m not even sure why I asked, I don’t think we really have much to choose from.” you admitted, placing his hand back into his own lap before picking yourself up from the couch. “I’ll go look.”
Hongbin nodded, watching you as you exited the living room and disappeared around the corner. You felt disappointed as you browsed the nearly-empty cabinets, wishing that you had enough to cook Hongbin a decent meal.
You sighed after making your decision, grabbing the box from the shelf and shutting the cabinet door before returning to the living room.
“Looks like our only option is this.” you said, standing in front of Hongbin and holding the box out for him to see. “Unless you want some toast, or month-old cereal.”
Hongbin smiled, shaking his head. “No, I love mac-and-cheese. It’s perfect.”
You nodded back, not being able to help but smirk at how simple things were for him, how easy it was to please him.
“Pause the TV, lets make it now. I’m practically starving.” you waved your hand at the screen, waiting to see Hongbin pick up the remote before venturing back into the kitchen.
Before you could even finish filling up a pot with water, Hongbin had followed your steps, placing himself at your side and watching as you prepared everything.
After setting the pot on the burner and putting the lid on top, you turned to Hongbin and sighed.
“Now we wait.”
Hongbin nodded in understanding. “What should we do until then?”
“I don’t know.” you shrugged, leaning your hip against the hard edge of the counter. “I was hoping you had some ideas.”
“Well…” Hongbin wrinkled his chin as he thought for a moment, his eyes growing slightly wider at the thought of an idea. “I know,”
He moved past you to the other side of the kitchen, quickly looking over the shelf full of CDs before picking one, quickly placing it into the CD player and pressing play.
“Really?” you asked, raising your eyebrow at him as he turned to face you.
“Really.” he replied as the music began to play, swiftly taking the few steps back toward you, placing one hand on your hip and the other grabbing for yours, holding it up in the air.
“You know I’m awful at dancing.” you warned, raising your voice loud over the high volume of the classical music. It was a CD that you had played so many times since moving in together, having heard the songs so much that you both nearly knew all the melodies by heart.
“And so am I.” Hongbin replied, grinning wide as he began to sway you both back and forth.
The room was cramped, allowing little space for you to move around it, but you made it work. Hongbin maneuvered you both around the obstacles, keeping you both in time with the tempo of the song. You’d occasionally stumble into the table or bump your hips on the counter, only to laugh and shrug it off before continuing like nothing had happened.
Hongbin wrapped his arm around your back before dipping you down, holding you in the air with ease, keeping you there as the song began to fade. His face was close enough to yours that you could feel his breath against your chin, and he stayed like that a moment, even keeping the pose as he glanced up at the stove.
“I think the water’s ready.” he whispered breathlessly against your lips, kissing you quickly before pulling you back up to your feet.
You brought your hand to your chest, smiling as you tried to catch your breath. Hongbin turned down the volume of the music slightly as the next song began to play, before making his way back over to your side.
You pulled the lid from the pot, setting it off to the side before holding your hand out toward Hongbin, waiting for him to open the box and give it to you.
After pouring the noodles into the water, you waited patiently for them to cook, staying by the stove to stir them occasionally as you spoke casually about the show you had just put on, and how awful it must have actually looked.
“Grab the strainer out of the cabinet.” you instructed Hongbin, once you felt that the noodles were finished cooking. You pulling on two heat gloves before grabbing the handles of the pot and bringing it over to the sink.
Hongbin placed the strainer in the sink just as you got to it, both of you scrunching your faces up as the steam rose and floated around you from the noodles being poured. You shook the strainer out before pouring it all back into the pot, returning it to its spot on the stove before turning to Hongbin.
“You have everything?” you asked, holding out your hand toward him again.
He nodded, beginning to individually hand you all of the ingredients for you to stir into the noodles, saving the most important for last.
“Hongbin, where’s the-”
As you began to turn around to ask him about the last ingredient, you realized that he was behind you, his arms resting on your shoulders, his head peeking out from beside yours.
You turned back to face the stove, noticing that he was holding the packet of cheese out in front of you. As you tried to reach for it, Hongbin would hold it up higher in the air, only bringing it back down when you would lower your hands.
“Hongbin, I need to-”
“You wanna know something?” Hongbin asked suddenly, interrupting your words.
You sighed, giving up on trying to pry the package from his fingers. “Sure, Hongbin.”
“You’re like...the cheese to my macaroni.” he said softly, slowly averting his gaze from the cheese packet to the side of your face as if to watch your reaction.
You blinked, your eyes not leaving the package in front of you even though you could feel his eyes on you. You felt embarrassed that his dumb compliment was making you blush, your heart practically melting at his words.
Eventually, you turned your head to face him. “Y’know, Hongbin. That was pretty cheesy of you.” you said, not being able to help but burst into laughter at your own stupid joke.

request: “Can i request long scenario with VIXX N? The plot is you and Hakyeon decide to spend new year eve day together but he come late(alr on new year day) cause he have a schedule with VIXX. Can you make it smut?”
"Oh, I'm still mad." you said, though it wasn't true. "You'll just have to work for your forgiveness."
"So should I..." Hakyeon started, leaning forward and rising slowly off the floor, bracing his hands on your thighs as he inched his face closer to yours. "earn it like this?"
~
You had been sitting in the same spot on your couch for hours now, the cycle of looking from your cellphone, to the door, then to the television screen continuing repeatedly. You had been awake and alert when you had first sat down, telling yourself that Hakyeon would be walking through the front door any minute - or at least call.
But hours had passed, the New Year's countdown was starting in less than five minutes, and your eyelids felt heavy from the worry and stress that had been pressing down on you all night. Hakyeon had called you just that morning, promising to be home before the sun set that night - but it was almost the next day, the new year, and there was absolutely no sign of him.
Your body felt exhausted, and you knew that couldn't possibly sit there any longer. You let your body stretch across the length of the couch, allowing your eyes to droop shut just as the announcer on the television began counting down the seconds to midnight.
And you were asleep before the countdown reached one, your last thought before dozing off being about the aching in your heart, caused by the fact that Hakyeon's arms weren't wrapped around you, and that his lips hadn't there to kiss yours at the stroke of midnight.
You weren't awoken by the opening of the front door, nor by the hands lightly shaking you in an attempt to wake you - probably because you didn't exactly want to wake up. You had had hurt and anger boiling inside of you as you slept, and you weren't ready to see Hakyeon's face.
But as his fingers gently pushed your hair out of your eyes, placing a careful kiss at the very center of your forehead, you knew that you couldn't stay angry at him. Fluttering your eyes open, already mostly awake, you met his eyes, which looked tired and worried as they stared desperately into yours.
"I'm sorry." he whispered, his hand lingering on your face. "I'm really sorry."
You sighed, purposefully not uttering a response as your rubbed your eyes and sat up on the couch.
Hakyeon stayed kneeling on the floor, grabbing one of your hands with both of his once you were comfortable.
"Our schedule got crowded up and our manager wouldn't let us touch our phones and - no, I shouldn't be making excuses. But I feel absolutely horrible."
Though you didn't want to give in so easily, your heart accepted his apology and forgave him instantly. He just looked and sounded so worried and sincere...and you had missed him so much the last couple of weeks. How could you possibly stay mad at him?
You closed your eyes, exhaling slowly as if you were trying to stall for a moment. Opening your eyes back up, Hakyeon's expression was even more pitiful as he looked up at your expectantly, waiting eagerly for any kind of response from you.
"It's fine." you said, rubbing your thumb over the smooth skin on the back of his hand. "I guess you'll just have to make it up to me."
Hakyeon's eyebrows raised slightly, already knowing what you were hinting at.
"Really? You're not mad?" he asked, his sad expression already lifted.
"Oh, I'm still mad." you said, though it wasn't true. "You'll have to work for your forgiveness."
Hakyeon swallowed, his eyes wide as he looked at you and tried to make sense of your words. You held back chuckles, loving that you were able to play him like you were.
"So should I..." Hakyeon started, leaning forward and rising slowly off the floor, bracing his hands on your thighs as he inched his face closer to yours. "earn it like this?"
You nodded, a chuckle sputtering out of your lips as the tip of your nose lightly tapped his.
Hakyeon nodded, closing the distance between your mouths as soon as he was sure of what you wanted. Your hands found their way around his waist, resting on the small of his back and pulling him slightly closer to you. He slowly climbed up onto the couch, positioning his legs on either side of you as he straddled your lap.
Finally closer to you, Hakyeon cupped his hands on the sides of your face - and you could’ve sworn you could taste the guilt that was probably still heavy in his chest. You felt bad for making him feel bad about being late - but then again, he had made you feel bad as well, so that should make you even.
Though you had forgiven him moments ago, you still wanted to have some fun and tease him a bit more. Bringing your hands back toward the front of his waist, your fingers dug in between the waist of his jeans and his stomach, unclasping the button and undoing the zipper.
Hakyeon's mouth hesitated slightly against yours, ready to argue but knowing that he shouldn't. He couldn't help but gasp as you reached into his jeans, grabbing him though his boxers.
You smiled against his lips, opening your eyes to see the surprised expression on his face. His eyes begged you not to tease him, but you continued, beginning to massage your fingers against his hardening length and watching as he bit his lip to hold back any sounds that were threatening to escape his mouth.
Moving his face to your neck, he tried to distract himself by nibbling at the skin just above your collarbone, his hands grabbing at the tops of your thighs and squeezing tighter as your hand added more pressure to his lower half.
Finally deciding to let him off the hook for a moment, you tugged at the bottom of his t-shirt until he stopped to help pull it over his head. After pulling off your own t-shirt (which just so happened to be one of his, too), Hakyeon grabbed your shoulders and positioned you so that you were laying down, him climbing on top of you once again.
Instead of going for your face or neck, Hakyeon's fingers went straight for the elastic band of your pajama pants, sliding them down along with your underwear. After slipping those completely off of you, Hakyeon immediately latched himself onto you; his mouth engulfed yours, his left hand grabbing your breast, and his other hand slipping two fingers inside of your exposed lower half.
You gasped against his mouth, your hands wrapping around his body and spreading across his back, your nails digging into his skin harder and harder the more eagerly he continued to pleasure you.
"Hakyeon..." you moaned against his lips, your fingers eventually finding his waist and trying to pull his pants down his thighs, but not quite succeeding because of how distracted you were. "Hakyeon, please."
Hakyeon smiled, both of his hands leaving your body as he worked at pulling his pants down to his knees, then completely off, joining the rest of your clothes on the floor.
Neither of you were patient enough to continue teasing each other, so as soon as you were both completely undressed, Hakyeon wasted no time. With one hand on your waist and the other wrapped around his length, he slowly pushed inside of you, both of you simultaneously letting moans of utter pleasure escape your lips.
Though Hakyeon was quickening his pace with every thrust, you couldn't help but push your lower half against him eagerly, your hands on his waist so they he wouldn't stop.
Becoming exhausted, Hakyeon rested his head on your shoulder, pressing kisses to your skin as he continued to thrust in and out of you. You ran your hands through his hair, down his back, scraping your nails against his skin and hoping that the marks would be deep enough for you to trace your fingers over later.
It didn't take long at all for you to both reach your climax, breathing heavily and screaming in ecstasy before collapsing onto each other with content exhaustion.
Hakyeon tangled your legs together, wrapping his arms around you and letting you cuddle up against his chest.
"I know that it's hard to forgive what I did tonight," he said quietly, running his fingers soothingly through your hair. "but I hope that I can make it up to you."
"You already did, Hakyeon." you assured him, pressing a soft kiss to his chest. "I'm just happy that you're here, now."
"I'm happy to be here, with you." he said, exhaling with relief. "Happy New Year, my love."

request: “Can I please request a holiday themed scenario where you are snowed in with a stranger (N). Little angst, little fluff and smut to kick of the holiday season?”
notes: I apologize if this isn't exactly what you wanted - it was difficult to incorporate angst and smut into this with them only being strangers, and I tried to put in as much fluff as possible. I really hope you enjoy it, nonetheless!!
“Don’t go,” Hakyeon said quickly, suddenly being close enough to clutch his fingers around your arm, stopping you from going any further out the door. “It’s too dangerous. I’d feel horrible if something happened to you after you left.”
~
“Ah, it’s gotten pretty dark outside, I should probably get going…”
You sat up on the floor, closing the multiple textbooks that were laying in front of you and starting to collect them into a pile.
Hakyeon simply nodded from where he was sitting across from you, picking his own things up off the floor.
“Do you think we got pretty much everything done? Or do you think we’ll need to meet up again before Monday?” you asked casually, somewhat struggling to shove your books into your bag.
“We’re pretty close to being finished, but I’ll work on the last couple things and have it finished for class.” Hakyeon assured you, setting his books on the coffee table beside him before standing up as you did.
You nodded, a moment of awkward silence engulfing you both as you tried to figure out what you were supposed to say next. Instead of replying, you turned and headed toward the door, Hakyeon taking a seat on his couch and grabbing for the remote as if you were already gone.
The noise of the television barely caught your ear as you finished pulling on your jacket - something about severe weather conditions. But you shrugged it off, forgetting about it entirely. That is, until you opened the front door.
The cold hit you instantly, causing you to scrunch up your face and wrap your arms as tight as you could around your body.
“How did it get so cold in the last few hours…” you mumbled to yourself, pulling the strap of your backpack farther up your shoulder and taking a step out the door.
“Wait.” Hakyeon’s voice rang from behind you, hesitant but abrupt. You turned around to find that he had gotten up and taken a few steps in your direction, remote in hand.
“What is it?” you asked over your shoulder.
“The weather.” he said simply, waving the remote toward the television that was nearly out of your view.
“What about it?” you asked, taking a step back in his house so you could get a decent view of the screen.
“It looks really bad. The roads, that is. And...I know you live far away.” he said quietly, possibly regretting having spoken up about it when you obviously weren’t concerned.
You shrugged. “Don’t worry about it. I’m sure there are a few taxis still driving around-”
“That’s not safe.” Hakyeon interrupted, shaking his head. “The roads are too dangerous. You should stay here until they get better.”
“I have places to be, Hakyeon. Things to do. I can’t possibly stay here all night.” you shook your head, turning back toward the door. Though your gut told you not to leave, that something bad was bound to happen, you weren’t going to stay at Hakyeon’s house. He was practically a stranger - it had been odd to have been there in the first place, even if it was for a school project. You couldn’t get snowed in there, for who knows how long.
“Don’t go,” Hakyeon said quickly, suddenly being close enough to clutch his fingers around your arm, stopping you from going any further out the door. “It’s too dangerous, [Y/N]. I’d feel horrible if something happened to you after you left.”
You sighed, turning to face him. “Are you really not going to let me leave?”
Hakyeon shook his head, letting go of your arm.
“Fine.” you rolled your eyes, stepping back into the house and shutting the door behind you. “Just until the roads clear up, okay?”
Hakyeon nodded, his face suddenly relieved. “It shouldn’t take too long.” he assured you, heading back toward the couch.
After removing your jacket and dropping your backpack back onto the floor, you relaxed in the chair across the room from him.
Though you could’ve easily focused in on the television, you couldn’t help but let your thoughts roam, making you feel more and more anxious as the seconds passed. You knew that you had homework at home that you needed to finish, an essay to write, finals to study for. You hadn’t eaten all day - and you weren’t about to ask Hakyeon for some food. And not only was being snowed in here just wasting time you needed to spend doing more important things; you knew that you’d probably have to stay the night here, and that made you more nervous than anything.
After a while, Hakyeon silently stood up and exited the room, the noises from across the small house indicated that he was in the kitchen. You clutched your stomach as you felt it growl and beg for food, but you weren’t about to ask him to cook you something. It was enough that he had to deal with you being in his house all night; you shouldn’t bother him any more than you had to.
You had nearly forgotten about the fact that Hakyeon wasn’t in the room until he stepped back in, suddenly blocking your view of the television screen with a steaming hot bowl. Your mouth instantly watered at the sight, and you looked up at Hakyeon with wide, questioning eyes.
“I doubt you’ve eaten dinner, since you’ve been here since lunch time.” he said, wiggling his arm slightly as a signal for you to take the bowl.
You wrapped your fingers around the bowl, taking it carefully from his hands and hovering it over your lap.
“Thank you…” you said quietly, avoiding his eyes as he sat back down on the couch, nodding in response.
You ate the ramen he had prepared more eagerly than you probably should have, what with a boy being in the same room with you. But you were practically starving, and he didn’t really seem to mind.
After a while, when both of your eyelids began to feel heavy and you couldn’t really focus your gaze on the television anymore, Hakyeon exited the room for the second time that night, this time not quite indicating what for.
He returned not shortly after, a pile of blankets and pillows in his arms. He dropped them onto the couch that he had been sitting on, beginning to smooth them out and set them up.
“You don’t have to-” you started, sitting up in the recliner.
Hakyeon waved you away, shaking his head. “It’s fine. Just sit back down.”
You pursed your lips, sitting back in the chair hesitantly, watching him as he finished making your bed for you.
“I’m going to go ahead and get to bed.” Hakyeon said, turning to you. “You’re welcome to get anything from the kitchen, and use the bathroom whenever you need. If you need anything other than that, then just feel free to knock on my bedroom door. Okay?”
You nodded, watching him smile and exit the room quickly, waiting to hear his bedroom door shut before jumping off the recliner and climbing under the warm blankets that he had laid onto the couch.
It didn’t take you long to fall asleep - but then, it didn’t take long for you to wake back up. You were stirred to consciousness by your own shivering, realizing when you came to your senses that the temperature had dropped a significant amount since you had first shut your eyes.
You tried to ignore it, wrapping the blankets around you as tightly as you possibly could to try to keep in the warmth, but with no luck. You were so cold that you could barely feel your fingers, and your teeth were chattering from how hard you were shivering.
Hakyeon couldn’t have possibly turned off the heat - he wouldn’t have chosen to be this cold himself. Had the heat stopped working?
You thought about it for a few moments, ultimately realizing that you had no choice but to inform him of the situation. Climbing off the couch and wrapping one of the blankets around you, you tiptoed down the hallway and to his bedroom door, knocking your knuckles against the wood softly.
You heard a groaning noise come from the other side of the door, Hakyeon had probably just been stirred from his sleep. You knocked again, listening as Hakyeon cleared his throat before telling you to come in.
You pushed the door open just as Hakyeon was reaching over to his bedside table to turn on the light. You could’ve sworn that your heart nearly skipped a beat at the sight of his half-asleep state - his disheveled, messy hair, his squinty eyes and puffy cheeks. But you shook it off, pushing the ridiculous thoughts to the back of your mind and composing yourself before speaking.
“I, um...I think the heater’s broken.” you said quietly, tightening the blanket around your shoulders.
“Oh?” Hakyeon sat up more in his bed, rubbing his eyes. “I thought so, too, but I wasn’t really sure.” he paused to yawn before continuing. “I don’t think I have any other blankets, or a space heater of any sort…I’m not sure how we could keep warm.”
You opened your mouth to suggest something, but realized that it was outrageous and quickly snapped your mouth shut. But Hakyeon seemed to have noticed, for he perked up, his eyes wide.
“Do you have an idea?”
You shook your head instantly, cursing yourself for having expressed the fact that something had come to mind, hoping that he would just let it go. But, of course, he didn’t.
“No, if you have any ideas, please share them. Because I have none, and I feel terrible that this is happening.”
You heart pounded in your ears, knowing that you weren’t getting off the hook, and that you’d just have to voice your suggestion, as embarrassing as it might be. “It’s really just stupid and actually quite ridiculous…” you glanced up at Hakyeon, who was patiently waiting for you to get to the point. “Y’know, like...body heat?”
Hakyeon understood what you were thinking instantly, without you having to explain any further - which you weren’t sure if you were grateful for or not.
“Well, there’s really nothing more that we can do, unless we want to just freeze in separate rooms.” Hakyeon said, shrugging slightly.
You nodded in agreement, your stomach suddenly tying in knots at just the thought of what was about to follow.
“I guess, just...climb in.” Hakyeon said, patting the vacant side of the bed next to him before beginning to lay back down.
You nodded again, swallowing hard as you made your way across the room, being slow and hesitant as you released the blanket from your shoulders and climbed under the covers that were neatly laid over Hakyeon’s bed.
As the light was turned out, and the only sound in the room was of both of your light and slow breaths, you couldn’t help but let your mind roam around the thought of the man that you were sharing a bed with. It was easy to say that you had had feelings for him all along - of course, those feelings being merely simple and childish, but still lingering.
And you soon discovered that the feelings had to have been mutual as Hakyeon’s arm carefully slipped around your waist, his body pressing to yours ever-so-lightly as he whispered something about distributing body heat, making your heart flutter and knowing that there was no way you were getting any sleep that night.

They had fallen in love on this train. In these very seats, at this very time of day. And now, as quickly as they had fallen in love, they were falling out of it.
[inspired by Discovery of Love]
~
The train jolted, sending your pencil in the wrong direction on the page and causing you to groan in frustration. You flipped the pencil over, rubbing the eraser over the mistake before continuing to scribble in your notebook.
You were racking your brain for ideas; lyrics, melodies, anything that would get your mind off how empty you felt. You knew that if you were left undistracted, your mind would linger back to the idea that what was about to happen was inevitable, and your heart would ache with the fact that you could do absolutely nothing to change it. It was too late.
You nudged the arm next to him with your elbow, holding out the notebook and looking over.
“Does that sound okay, Taekwoon?” you asked as soon as Taekwoon had removed one of his earbuds. You tried not to let yourself think about how Taekwoon’s eyes seemed to look right through you.
“Mm.” Taekwoon mumbled in reply, inserting his earbud back into his ear and averting his gaze back toward the book in his lap.
You nodded, bringing your notebook down to your lap and trying to ignore the way Taekwoon’s half-heartedness made your breath catch in your throat.
The train halted, the announcer informing its passengers that they had arrived at their next stop. As soon as the couple across from you collected their things and left their seats, Taekwoon picked himself up from his seat and moved into one of theirs, his eyes never leaving his book.
Your stomach dropped, the aching in your heart nearly impossible to ignore now. You had tried to not think about how Taekwoon had been acting lately - almost like you were strangers. What had happened to the Taekwoon that couldn’t keep his hands off of you? That was constantly looking into your eyes, and always wanting to hear your voice?
Did Taekwoon feel it, too? That your love for each other was no longer there?
The last time you had been on this train was the first time you had met. It was so many years ago that one would think you wouldn’t be able to remember anything about it - but you did. Every single detail. Because it was the most meaningful moment of your life.
You didn’t remember anything else about that day; why you had been on the train, what the weather was like, what kind of mood you were in. You only remembered the moments that Taekwoon had been by your side, curiously staring at your face when he thought you weren’t paying attention, trying to figure out if you were feeling the way he was.
You had accidentally bumped into each other in the aisle, the train’s sudden jolt adding to the effect. Awkward apologies were given, embarrassed laughter escaping your heavy chests. Surprisingly enough, Taekwoon had been the first to take the jump, asking you if you wanted to join him in the quieter part of the train. You answered without thinking, moving to let Taekwoon lead you.
You hadn’t been able to ignore the feeling in your heart as you sat next to Taekwoon, staring straight out the train’s window, your eyes never really focusing on anything that passed by. You wondered what Taekwoon was feeling, if those moments felt as important to him as they had to you.
“I think I might be...in love with you.”
You couldn’t believe the words had escaped your mouth, and you bit your lip as you looked over at Taekwoon and waited for a reply.
Taekwoon’s lips curved into a smile, his cheeks flushing slightly.
“Really?” he had asked, letting out a nervous laugh.
You smiled and nodded. “Really.”
Taekwoon shook his head, looking out the window for a moment before turning back to you with another chuckle. “Really?”
You laughed with him, the feeling in your gut when you looked at Taekwoon’s face giving you an enormous amount of confidence. “Really!”
You could feel an intense feeling in your stomach, in your heart, in your chest; similar to the one you had felt that first day. But it wasn’t the amazing, knee-weakening feeling of first love - it was the horrible, heart-breaking feeling of losing it.
You kept your sad eyes on Taekwoon, who was sitting across from you with an expressionless face. You wanted to kick his shin playfully, rest your feet on top of his lap and act as if you were exhausted, ask him to come back over next to you and sing you to sleep because you were having a hard time with the loud noises of the train. But you knew that you couldn’t do those things, you couldn’t do that to yourself. The rejection from Taekwoon would pain your heart even more, and you didn’t know if you’d be able to handle it.
The fight was everything you had expected; an endless amount of tears from yourself and little to no reaction from Taekwoon.
Though you knew that it was the end, that there was nothing you could do, you still fought with all you had left to save the love that was no longer there. Your hands shook and your knees grew weak - no longer from the nerves of loving someone, but the pain of losing them.
You couldn’t stand to watch Taekwoon simply stand there, only speaking to defend himself and not to defend the both of you together. You were reaching for the love that wasn’t there, while Taekwoon knew that it had been gone for a long time.
You had been too oblivious, too blinded by your love for Taekwoon, to notice that Taekwoon had been trying for a very long time to save you. He had felt it slipping away long before this train ride, long before you had realized it. He had been fighting with all his heart to save it, to get it back before you could even realize that it had been gone. But he couldn’t do it. He couldn’t do it by himself - it had been too late for him, too.
Nothing that either of you had done or could have done could stop the end from coming. You couldn’t fight for a love that was no longer there. Your hearts no longer beat for either other, your fingers no longer ached for each others’ touch. As you stood on the platform of the train station, your hearts breaking as you stared right through each other, you knew that it was gone.

“Let’s start the year off right, shall we?”
~
“Hurry, get in here! The countdown’s starting!”
You laughed out loud, grabbing the two cups you had just poured drinks into and bringing them with you as you hurried back to the living room.
“Eight! Seven! Six!” Wonshik shouted at the television, a paper party hat on his head and one in his hand. He gestured quickly for you to come toward him, a wide smile on his face.
You set the glasses down on the table, hurrying to him and chuckling as you let him put the hat on top of your head, joining him for the rest of the countdown.
“Three! Two! One!” you both yelled as loud as you could after the last number, Wonshik stopping only to blow all the air that occupied his lungs into the noise maker he held between his fingers. Eventually throwing the noise maker on the ground, Wonshik turned to you, smiling as his hands reached up to cup your face. He waited a moment, staring at you with a grin on his face as he tried to catch his breath, before speaking.
“Happy New Year.” he whispered, leaning forward and kissing you, pulling away much too soon to propose an idea. “Let’s start the year off right, shall we?”
You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion, but the questions on the tip of your tongue were all answered when Wonshik snaked his arms around your waist, his hands landing on the small of your back as he pulled your body closer to his.
You nodded enthusiastically when you realized what he had in mind, your growing smile being stopped only from his lips pressing to yours again.
When his hands slowly traveled down your ass and grabbed at the backs of your thighs, you took that as the signal for him wanting to pick you up. You wrapped your arms around his neck, bracing yourself as he aided in lifting you up, waiting for you to wrap your legs around his waist before starting toward the bedroom.
Kicking the bedroom door shut behind you, Wonshik stopped at the end of the bed, leaning forward to lay you down carefully on top the covers that you had neglected to smooth out that morning. Your kiss was broken only to give you a chance to scoot farther up on the bed, Wonshik climbing on top of you and ignoring your mouth, his lips going for the sensitive spot of your neck.
You took the opportunity to reach between your bodies, your fingers grabbing at the waist of his jeans and working at undoing the button and zipper. Once the upper part of his pants were loosened, you reached your hand down underneath the fabric, grabbing at his already hardening length and chuckling as you felt him moan against your neck.
To satisfy himself as you continued to tease him, Wonshik lowered his hands only to reach up your shirt, continuing to peck and nibble at your neck as he squeezed your breasts in his large hands.
Eventually, Wonshik got impatient, disconnecting his lips from your skin and grabbing the hem of your shirt, making you release your hand from his lower half so he could pull the fabric over your head. His shirt quickly joined yours on the floor; and shortly after that, your bra, which Wonshik had skillfully unhooked from underneath you.
Both of you now bare from the waist up, Wonshik latched his mouth to your collarbone, sucking and biting along it as you ran your fingers over his defined chest and abdomen.
Wonshik’s hands eventually left your chest, travelling down your stomach and stopping at the waist of your jeans. After undoing them with more efficiency than you had his, Wonshik decided to get revenge, doing the same that you had done to him and teasing you through a layer of fabric. Your hands moved to his biceps, digging your nails into his flexed muscles and craning your head back further into the pillow, your eyes rolling shut as Wonshik’s fingers played at your clitoris.
“Wonshik…” you breathed, a moan escaping your lips with the second syllable of his name. You reached your hands down, eagerly grabbing at his jeans again, but not being composed enough for your hands to properly do anything. “Wonshik, please-”
He cut you off by pressing a sloppy kiss to your open lips, his nose hitting yours a few times as he nodded. Releasing his fingers from your lower area, Wonshik sat up slightly, pulling both his pants and boxers down his thighs and completely exposing his length. He let out a breathy moan at the relief, but tried to ignore his needs for a moment, adjusting his body slightly as to completely remove his pants before moving his hands to yours and working at sliding them off as well.
One hand grabbing his fully hardened length and the other simultaneously slipping two fingers inside of you, both of you moaned in unison, throwing your heads back and closing your eyes at the sheer pleasure. What always struck you as amazing was that this part always felt so good, and it was merely preparation. You knew that when you actually got going, it would be more than doubly as pleasurable - and that made you crazily eager to get to it.
As Wonshik pulled his fingers out of you and positioned himself accordingly at your lower half, you reached your hands up and grabbed his face, pulling him down to your face and kissing him quickly.
“Don’t rush.” you whispered against his mouth, pushing him away slightly before releasing your hands from his face.
Wonshik nodded, taking a deep breath as his gaze focused back on where his hands were. He braced one hand on your thigh, and you barely felt his nails digging into your delicate skin as he pushed into you.
Slowly pulling out, his nails dug deeper into your thigh, as did yours into his arms. He continued his motions, quickening them with each cycle. You both always seemed to reach your climaxes almost simultaneously, and you could feel it and hear it in each others’ breaths.
You were both dizzy with pleasure, feeling exhausted but endless as you came down from your high. You relaxed and closed your eyes to steady your breathing as Wonshik collapsed on top of you, his face nuzzling into the crook of your neck and placing a soft kiss there.
Eventually rolling onto his side, Wonshik pulled you close to him, his hand on the back of your head as pulled it down to his chest, burying his face into your tangled hair and sighing into it.
You felt your eyelids beginning to feel heavy, and you let them droop shut, sighing in comfort as you relaxed in Wonshik’s arms.
Half-asleep, you barely heard Wonshik whisper into your ear, the words being instantly forgotten in your mind but sure to stay somewhere inside of you, for they vaguely made your chest ache with emotion.
“[Y/N]....Happy New Year. I’ve decided that I’m going to spend every single New Year’s eve with you, and every other holiday as well; because I’m going to spend the rest of my life with you. Okay?”

"There's nowhere else I'd rather be."
~
"Aren't you going to get out of your pajamas?"
You turned away from the TV to look at your mom, who was standing between the living room and kitchen, looking at you expectantly as she wiped a spoon dry on her apron.
"Why would I have to? I'm just laying around at home with people that I lay around the house with everyday." you shrugged, turning your head back toward the TV.
"Come on..." she walked toward you, slipping the spoon into a pocket of her apron and reaching toward you. "can't you just pull on a skirt and pat some blush on your cheeks? For me?" she squeezed the skin on your cheeks with her fingers, making you scrunch up your face.
"Only if you promise never to do that again." you swatted her hands away, picking yourself up off the couch. Her smile made you wince as you followed her out of the living room, knowing that you were only doing this to make her happy.
After digging in your closet for a Christmas-y dress and slipping it on, you put on a decent amount of makeup and tied your hair back; all in an attempt to give the illusion that your hair wasn't really that greasy, and like you hadn't been sleeping in for days. Though you weren't quite sure why you were doing this - everyone in the house knew all of this anyway. Why was your mom wanting you to impress them?
You obeyed her wishes anyway, just because it was the holiday and you didn't want her to be more stressed than she was. And even though making an effort was a hassle for you, the smile on her face when she saw you all dressed up even made your heart feel warm.
“See, you just look so beautiful.” you mother said, letting out a sigh of relief. “You’re going to be happy that I made you do this.”
“Why is that?” you asked, your eyebrows furrowing with confusion.
“Oh, nothing.” she replied, a smirk on her face.
You opened your mouth to press her more into telling you what she was talking about, but you were interrupted by the chime of the doorbell ringing through your home. You looked toward the living room, then back to your mother, whose face had lit up at the sound of someone at the door.
“Who’s that?” you asked, waiting impatiently for your mother to reply as she set down her spoon and untied the apron from her waist.
“I’m not sure.” she shrugged, though the terribly hidden smirk on her face told you that she knew exactly who was standing on your front porch.
You rolled your eyes, following her as she took hurried steps to the front of the house. Peeking over her shoulder, you watched as she turned the doorknob, your throat nearly closing up when your eyes focused on a familiar dark blue peacoat.
Raising your gaze further upward, your eyes were met with your boyfriend’s bright smile and sparkling eyes, which disappeared momentarily as he quickly bowed to your mother.
“Merry Christmas!” she said cheerfully, throwing up her hands in excitement as she stepped aside to let her guest in.
“Merry Christmas.” he replied, nodding to her and stepping inside before looking straight at you, repeating the two words and following them with the biggest smile you had ever seen on his face.
“Hongbin…” you nearly whimpered his name as you threw yourself into his arms, your knees going weak with the feeling of his strong arms finally wrapping themselves around you. “I...I had no idea that you were coming! Why didn’t you tell me?”
“It was a last minute thing.” he said, pulling away from you, his big hands clasping your shoulders. “Plus, I wanted it to be a surprise.”
“Well, it certainly was, I think.” your mother chimed in, closing the door and stepping back into the house. “I’m going to leave you two be for a little while, and finish cooking. I’ll be in the kitchen if you need me - though I’m sure you won’t.” she grinned, patting Hongbin’s shoulder before exiting the room.
You couldn’t help but hug Hongbin again, never having been so happy to see him. “I just...still can’t believe you’re here! It’s been so long.”
Hongbin nodded. “I know. I’m sorry.”
“No, don’t be sorry!” you pulled away, cupping the sides of his face with both of your hands as to force him to listen. “I know how important your studies are, and I understand why you need to go overseas for them. I wouldn’t even allow you to lock yourself up in this country, you’d get nowhere.” you pecked a kiss on his nose, making his dimples appear as he smiled. “Now come cuddle up with me on the couch and watch Christmas movies until dinner’s ready, hm?”
Hongbin nodded, working at unraveling the scarf from his neck and slipping out of his boots and jacket before following you to the couch, both of you cuddling up under a fluffy blanket and focusing yourselves on the TV.
“Dinner is served!” Your mother’s voice rang from the kitchen, followed by the sound of a metal fork taping a glass bottle.
Hongbin smiled down at you, and you both shrugged the blanket off and climbed off the couch, hurrying through the house and into the kitchen, where the majority of your family was already seated.
“Ah, it’s good to see your face around here again.” your father’s voice was cheerful as he smiled at Hongbin, never failing to express his approval of him.
“And I’m glad to be here.” Hongbin replied, bowing slightly to him before stepping closer to the table and reaching down to wrassle his fingers through the scruffy hair of your little brother. “And I’m sure you’ve been behaving while I’ve been gone, hm?”
The child smiled up at Hongbin, nodding his head vigorously.
Hongbin laughed, patting his head before making his way around the table and pulling out a chair, only to look up at you expectantly.
“Oh.” you chuckled, hurrying toward him and sliding into the seat, thanking him as he pushed you closer to the table before taking his seat next to you.
Dinner was filled with questions for Hongbin in between large bites of food, everyone curious as to how his schooling was going and making sure that he was enjoying himself - but not too much. Your parents seemed to praise him even more than they praised you, but you didn’t really mind at all. You loved the shy smile that Hongbin would get on his face when a compliment would be directed his way, tilting his head down to hide his blushing cheeks. You’d reach over and squeeze his big hand with your small fingers, letting him know that you agreed with whatever had been said.
Once everyone had been finished with dinner, and you had all sat around the table for a while - rubbing your full stomachs and laughing much too hard at silly things - you decided to grab your jackets and drag Hongbin outside to the front porch. You hadn’t really had any alone time with him since he had arrived, and though you loved the atmosphere of being around him and your family, you couldn’t help but want him all to yourself on occasion.
You both plopped down on the porch swing, still complaining about how full you felt after the enormous meal. Realizing that it was much colder than you had anticipated, you grabbed Hongbin’s arm and draped it around your shoulders before cuddling into his side, sighing and letting your eyes fall shut from the satisfaction of his warmth.
“Thank you for coming, Hongbin.” you mumbled, feeling drowsy from the food and the comfort of finally being in your boyfriend’s arms. “I really couldn’t have asked for a better Christmas, all because you were here to spend it with me.”
He began running his fingers through your hair soothingly, leaning down momentarily to press a kiss to the top of your head. “Of course. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be.”

request: “can you write a fluff fic where im/you're married to ravi and are celebrating y/our first christmas together with y/our 1 year old son? please and thank you^^~!”
You had gotten used to waking up in the late afternoon on Christmas morning to an empty apartment, and moping around in your pajamas regretting that you hadn’t gone to visit family for the holiday.
But this year, you had woken up to your beautiful husband and baby boy, in the small home that you shared - and it was so different, but so perfect.
~
You were woken up quite unpleasantly that morning by the curtains over the window in your bedroom being pulled open, causing you to immediately roll onto your side and pull the blankets over your eyes. You groaned, squeezing your eyes shut and trying to fall back asleep, though you knew you wouldn’t be able to.
Soft fingers grabbed at your face, and you felt the urge to swat them away, but you knew who it was and you just couldn’t do that.
“Mommy,” the voice came from beside you, mimicking the voice of a child though the tone was much too rough and deep to have been that of your youngster. “Mommy, it’s my first Christmas. You have to wake up.”
You reached your hand up to rub your face, squinting your eyes open. Your husband had sat himself on the floor next to the bed, holding your son in his arms as he grabbed at your face, both of them smiling expectantly at you.
“Good morning.” he said in his normal voice, bouncing your son on his lap.
“Good morning, Wonshik.” you whispered, not being able to help but smile as you reached out to your child, your heart warming as he wrapped his small fist around your index finger. “And good morning to you too, baby boy.”
“Santa was here.” Wonshik said, kissing the side of your son’s head. You weren’t quite sure whether he was talking to you or the little boy in his arms, but you listened happily anyway. “He ate all the cookies we left him, and he even left presents under the tree!”
The boy wiggled in his arms, more excited by the playful tone in his father’s voice than the actual words he was speaking, since he wasn’t quite old enough to understand them anyway.
Wonshik smiled up at you, leaning forward to kiss your forehead quickly before picking himself and his son off the floor.
“Come on.” he said, waving his hand for you to follow him as he turned and left the bedroom.
The grogginess that your body felt from just waking up made you want to groan and complain, but inside you were feeling warm and...generally happy.
You climbed out of bed, stumbling slightly as your legs struggled to carry you down the short hallway to the living room. Wonshik was just entering the room from the kitchen, your child being held carefully in the crook of his arm as he carried two mugs in his hands.
“Here,” he handed you one of the mugs, and you wrapped your fingers around the warm cup as he leaned in to kiss the temple of your forehead. “come open presents.”
You cheerfully followed him, sitting next to him on the floor in front of the small tree you had decorated just a few short weeks ago. Wonshik set your son in his lap, reaching forward to grab the first present. Wonshik did most of the unwrapping, tossing the paper off to the side and showcasing the gift to the young boy’s glistening eyes for a moment before moving on to the next.
Once your son was finished opening his presents and was preoccupied with exploring those, you reached over and grabbed Wonshik’s hand to get his attention.
“I have a present for you.” you said softly, a grin spreading across your face.
“Oh? Wait one second.” he held up his index finger, turning back to your son and picking him up off the ground. After carefully placing the child and his toy in his high chair, which was set just a few feet across the room, Wonshik sat back down next to you, waiting expectantly.
As you reached under the tree for his gift, Wonshik rambled. “I got you a gift too, but you won’t get it until later...it’s not really a traditional gift, but I think you’ll like it-” his words were silenced when you dropped the wrapped box into his lap, his eyes traveling down to look at it as his hands immediately began ripping the paper from it.
As Wonshik held the box in front of him, his eyes wide, you explained your thought behind the gift. “I wanted to get you something that you really needed, but also really wanted, and that you’d get a lot of use out of. I know how much you use your old headphones, and how worn down they are, so I wanted to get your a nicer pair-”
“I love it, [Y/N].” he said quietly, looking over at you with a huge grin on his face. “They must have cost so much money, you really didn’t have to-”
“But you deserve it.” you interrupted him, grabbed his arm.
Wonshik sighed, setting the box on the ground carefully before turning to you. “Thank you, babe. So much.” he kissed your lips quickly, pressing your foreheads together. “Really. I love it.”
“You better.” you chuckled, kissing him again.
“So what’s my present, Wonshik?”
You tugged on the sleeve of his t-shirt, nuzzling your face into the crook of his neck, as if you didn’t already have his attention. You had been holding yourself back from asking all day, but the sun had finally set and you were getting a little impatient.
“You’ll get it soon, once this little one falls asleep...oh.” Wonshik glanced down to his lap, where your son was sleeping quite soundly, his delicate eyelids drooped over his eyes as he let out soft, quiet breaths.
You smirked, bouncing excitedly as you both got off the couch. After handing the sleeping boy carefully over to you, Wonshik followed you slowly down the hallway and to the boy’s room, watching as you laid him in his crib and tucked him under his blanket.
Wonshik’s arm snaked around your waist as you leaned down to press a kiss to your son’s forehead, your heart feeling warm at the amount of happiness you were being surrounded with in that moment.
“Follow me.” Wonshik whispered as quietly as he could, grabbing your hand and leading you out of the room.
Your eyes were wide as you watched Wonshik push the door to his office open, having never really ventured inside before. In fact, Wonshik had to make an effort to pull you inside, shutting the door quietly behind you both as to not wake your sleeping child.
After sitting you down in his chair, Wonshik powered up his computer and took a minute finding the file that he wanted. Once he did, he carefully took the headphones he had received from you this morning out of their box, plugging them into his computer before handing them to you.
You waited for him to nod before putting them over your ears, your stomach twisting in knots as you waited eagerly for whatever he wanted to show you to start playing.
Soft, slow piano filled your ears first, the sound crisp and clear and making your heart jump slightly. You bit your lip, waiting patiently for the first verse of the song to come in; but not hearing quite what you had expected.
Wonshik’s voice joined the piano smoothly, not with the rap-style that you were used to, but with melodic chords. Singing was never Wonshik’s strongest element when it came to music, but you could tell that he had practiced it a ton, solely for this song.
You felt tears sting your eyes as you listened to Wonshik’s voice, shocked at how beautiful it could sound; and not only that, but the words that he was singing. Of course, you could tell instantly that they were directed towards you, and you could hardly breathe at the mere idea of it.
The song ended much too soon, Wonshik reaching up to slip the headphones off your head before smiling up at you from where had been perched on the floor in front of you.
“Wonshik, that was…” you shook your head in disbelief, letting a few tears escape onto your cheeks, not caring enough to wipe them away. “that was beautiful, Wonshik.”
Wonshik reached his arms up to wrap them around you, pulling you down onto his lap and holding you close to his chest, pressing his lips to the top of your head as he held you.
