(male prns for lenny, discussion of spiders in relation to appearances, one instance of suggestive material but there are Reasons, minor canon derailing. sorry vllax, you made a very loveable weirdo. more xplayer type hcs toward the end)
☆ if you set up in a snowy biome, lenny is significantly more likely to either regularly break into your home or abduct you back to his lair. he's spider enough to produce natural antifreeze for his blood, but human (and lonely) enough to exhibit heat-seeking behavior.
☆ while lenny's behavior and appearance are largely modeled off of curtain web spiders and golden orb weavers, he has the ability to change colors and adopt patterns similar to those of various species of tarantulas.
☆ since the tormentor hadn't fully transformed lenny into a spider during his time in the cult, i imagine his fur to feel like a double coat/wirehaired mix with a thicker undercoat in colder biomes and the inverse in warmer biomes. if you move to a different climate, he'll blow his current undercoat in favor of one that better suits the new environment.
☆ speaking of warmer biomes, he may try adopting different color schemes for camouflage if you settle into a jungle, desert, mesa or badlands biome (species that come to mind are the peruvian flame rump, desert blonde, and mexican red knee.)
☆ he purrs. he totally purrs. purring and chittering. he's such a cute little freak (bro is NOT little).
☆ prefers cats to dogs due to their small size and lack of dietary overlap. if the player has cats with him at high mood, he will most likely freak them out at first with his purring, but they'll get used to it with time.
☆ once he's used to the player and more receptive to physical touch, he sees your displays of affection (headpats, scritches, hugs, etc) as you submitting yourself to him. despite this, he will be petting you in return (including using his spider limbs if he's feeling particularly possessive)
☆ he may have moments when you two are alone where he just... wants to feel you. like, this isn't him intentionally being a pervert, he's been so isolated that he kinda forgot how soft and squishy humans were in comparison to him.
☆ 100% the big spoon (almost typed that as bug spoon kek). he'll also accept you snuggling up to him face to face, but no way in hell are you leaving his grasp.
☆ in spite of his size, he WILL let you carry him if you're capable (he's lighter than you think, give it a shot!)
(yes i know lenny doesn't smell like anything in canon, it's for plot development. male prns for lenny, kinda ooc as a morale boost, somewhat established relationship, terrain description matches my current world with lenny (biomes o'plenty), mention of obsessive tendencies, we out here training him... or is he training us? also this is my first proper fanfiction so plsnobully)
while you're more than fine with your stalker, friend, thing... coming around for food, and as surprisingly gentle and devoted as he is (well, gentle for a couple meter tall arachnid), you can't help but shrivel your nose a little at the intersection of mildew and wet dog emanating from his looming form. it sticks to your clothes, your walls, even the trees in the nearby forest whenever you leave your house to gather wood. between the furballs and gunk left as gifts strewn about your house's perimeter and his aura of straight up funk, this creature desperately needs a deep clean and then some.
you sit down in a nearby field with a cooked porkchop in hand, close your eyes and wait for lenny in hopes he'll notice your offering. an hour or so passes before you hear chittering in the distance and open your eyes ever so slightly to see him scampering about before slowly making his way to you. you extend your offhand, loosely closed, to the head of your large, fuzzy stalker and slowly caress the side of his head. he stays perfectly still for a few minutes and lets you move your touches to the top of his head before ducking the hand petting him, snatching the porkchop out of your other hand with his maw and sprinting off.
+1 mood for the obsessor.
as daylight dwindles into darkness and you're getting ready to tuck in for the night, your focus is broken by the sound of tapping on the outside of your house; first slower and rhythmic, then quickly losing tempo — almost like whatever's doing this is growing impatient. you grab your sword, open your door and sneak onto the grassy shore to see lenny, legs unfurled from his back, rapping his long claws along the exterior of your house. he soon notices your watchful eye and escapes into fields yonder, leaving you crouched and confused. getting up and making your way to the side of the house where lenny was poised, you see a torn piece of paper with a charcoal doodle of what looks to be the two of you together. how sweet, your infatuated arachnid friend left you a drawing. a labor of love perhaps? you gently remove the artwork from the side of your house and put it in a chest inside with the rest of lenny's gifts.
you wake up just as day breaks. crawling out of bed, donning your typical clothing and grabbing any tools and food you may need, you head back out into the environs with renewed resolve. this time, your animal offering is a large steak and again you situate yourself in the field albeit closer to the water, eyes mostly closed and awaiting your skittish stalker's arrival. lenny eventually makes himself known and — completely unexpectedly — nuzzles his cheek into your empty palm, all abuzz with happy little chitters. this leaves you startled for a few seconds, but you slowly move your hand to reciprocate the friendly gesture, lightly chuckling to yourself.
+1 mood for the obsessor.
he skitters off, dropping a clump of fur and reminding you of your goal.
the cycle continues. grassy field, meat in one hand and affection in the other, watching through heavy eyelashes for the arachnid who's taken up so much space in your mind and then rewarding his increasing tolerance for physical contact with foodstuffs. you soon move to coming out with food less often and solely offering touch, which he takes in all the same.
the day eventually comes where you see lenny running to you in the field and flag him down while slowly moving back toward the beach outside your house. taking gentle steps backwards to avoid tripping over yourself, you eventually lead him into the calm waters of the inlet, shimmering with the sun's amber glow. lenny starts to panick a little but soon calms down when you start working your fingers through his fur, water gaining a dark brown tinge from the sludge that once caked his coat. in an attempt to further comfort your somewhat willing victim you begin narrating your work, sprinkling in a few lighthearted "poor thing"s and "wet beast"s for comedic effect. upon initially hearing the latter phrase, lenny gives you a concerned look and utters...
"w-weh beess?"
to which you kindly reply, "no no, lenny, i don't actually think you're a beast! just trying to be a little silly, that's all! let's get you cleaned up and you'll feel right as rain."
once you're done scrubbing the grunge from your lumbering compatriot, you get him out of the water and ask him to wait for you while you duck inside your house to grab a spare shirt to use as a towel. upon your return, you're delighted to see he listened but not so delighted by the deluge of water that hits your face as lenny shakes himself as dry as he can. ruffling his fur in the process of drying him off, you hear what you swear sound like giggles peppered between chitters. despite prior reservations, he really seems to be enjoying the attention.
soon after drying the last of him off, you wring your spare shirt dry, lay it on the grass by the shore and instruct lenny to wait just a bit longer as you enter your house a second time to gather a collection of flowers from a nearby chest. popping back out the door, you're again relieved to see him waiting for you, this time with a look of blended contentment and confusion as his eyes lock onto the flowers in your hand. making your way up to him, you comb through his now dry coat with your fingers and begin weaving wildflowers and fresh plucked lilac bits into his fur. partway through your efforts, you feel lenny's hand firmly gripping your shoulder before gently releasing it to play with the sleeve of your shirt as you continue adorning him with aromatic blooms. once you've finished and have admired your handiwork, you ask him to sit down with you as you pull out a bunch of dandelions, pluck them of their leaves and weave them into a crown before placing it atop lenny's head. both of you stand up and you can barely brush yourself off before he pulls you into a near-suffocating hug and begins rambling incoherently before uncoupling from you and sprinting towards the horizon.
your stalker's happiness is at 5 (fully happy).
lenny has never experienced this much positive attention, especially not for this long. it's absolutely fucking exhilarating; he wishes to capture this moment forever — capture you forever — and if this is the kind of thing you would do for others, he wants it for himself and himself alone. however, he will play the long game and see if this kindness of yours is consistent before dragging you off to his lair under the cover of night.
[ how do i interpret the stalker trio as yanderes? ]
(warnings: stalking, manipulation, canon typical violence, august being august, home intrusion. first time writing the knocker and i'm using the original java mod as reference bc i can't afford the dwellers add on for bedrock.)
01. lenny (the obsessed) – control freak.
this yandere is mostly about control over his object of desire to the point where he sees any and all positive interactions as playing into his plans. this doesn't mean he won't accept affection, he absolutely will. he just wants all of the time out of your day and your focus to be solely on him to the point he will kidnap you under cover of night and take you to the lair that will be your new home.
02. august (the man from the shadow) – hypocrite you are.
oh fuck, here we go. deeply sadistic, deeply perverted, and deeply devoted. you seem to have forgotten how you first met, but he's here now to help you remember by any means necessary. august is the only person who's allowed to hurt you and live another day and he will let you know that when he's holding you at knifepoint, looming over your startled figure with a toothy grin plastered on his face. don't be afraid, it will be pleasant.
03. the knocker - possessive stray.
this bastard makes your house his home before you make it yours. casually opening your door in the middle of the night to watch you sleep, stealing your food, and generally being a nuisance; he's attached himself to you now and you will be dealing with him. and don't think leaving your house will rid you of him, absolutely not. he'll track you down and give you a little visit, standing a bit too close and breathing right down your neck in a bid for attention only to disappear as you whip your head around looking for him.
(requested by a lovely anon! male prns for lenny, established acquaintances? best way to put it, mentions of animal cruelty, lenlen being an oddball.)
☆ the first time you hand lenny an old knife of yours, he completely fumbles it and almost stabs himself in the leg
☆ he doesn't really need it with those long claws of his, but you figured he was docile enough to let him give it a try. boy were you wrong.
☆ within the coming days you noticed improvements in his handling skills, but you also noticed slashes and various stab wounds in the local bovine and equine populations. he wasn't even killing the animals he was using for practice!
☆ after culling the poor beasts, you catch him in the midst of chasing down a horse, flag him down and admonish him for his insane actions — or at the very least, not dispatching his targets. you then make the decision to build him some practice targets out of hay and cloth.
☆ a few weeks pass and lenny's much better at handling his new weapon than he was before, even using it to harvest meat and remains for you a few times.
☆ he really likes gifting you animal remains after you give him the knife. he'll roughly chop them up before depositing them outside your house as opposed to his usual method of crushing.
☆ if you live in warmer climates, expect semi-regular clumps of hair as he learns to give himself rudimentary trims.
☆ if in a more wooded location, you've probably already seen carvings in the bark of nearby trees; some of figures (presumably self-portraits), some attempts at writing.
tagging @ikuramachi bc the model's done and i'm the most obvious anon everrrrrr. he took me almost a week and some serious tlc (i can't stand working with default vroid faces. his face had to be remapped and partially retopologized before i could do any real work)
