I never got to really write what I wanted so you have full context, and since I don't take notes on what I want to write and just type the idea as I go there is missing information that I don't have sorry.

The water burned in my lungs as it spewed up out of my mouth. The light of the moon burned as my eyes finally peeled open and the deafening crash of the waves caused me to pull tightly into a ball while accommodating my body to the noise. The subtle rocking motion was only making my want to force my eyes closed as my think pan buzzed with pain.
“Cap’n she’s awake,” calls a figure dangerously close to me.
Sitting up I glance around trying to say something, anything, but as I do nothing comes out. Grabbing my neck, I realize that my pendant is gone. With a glare, I feel the tears start to prick my eyes as I hear the sharp clicks of boots. Standing before me is a man donned in Violet, a royal blood color, sharp eyes match the robes he wore, and slicked black hair frames his face. But what caught my attention most was the double scars that raked across his face and seemed to damage his vision in the slightest way.
“That she be. What were you doing so far at sea, lass?” he asks a gruff voice with a slight wave to his words.
I try to speak and quickly reach to my throat again, trying my best to signal that speaking was impossible. He quirks a brow and looks me over.
“Can ye speak at all?” he sends me a pointed look.
I shake my head, but then remember that I can write. Signaling as best I can, I make it look like I’m writing.
“Ye can write?” he asks quite interested.
I nod violently, he pulls me up to my feet and I quickly become aware of the multiple pairs of eyes on me now. I'm on a fucking ship, and to make matters worse I need my pendant to speak and I don't know where in Davy Jones it could be. He sits me in a chair and shoves a paper in my hand with a pen of some sort. I quickly and neatly scrawl on the parchment and show it to him.
‘ye believe me now? I don’t know how I got so far, but did I ‘ave a pendant on me?' looking up at him I wait for a reply.
“No ‘idn’t see one on ye. Might I ask what it’s for?”
‘Status and my mother gave it to me. Had it ever since she died?' I write sending him a shrug.
“Oh, sorry ta hear about ye mom, what status do you ‘ave?”
‘Not, important. If you could drop me off at next port I wouldn’t mind. Or keep me I’ll be of as much use as I can be,’ I offer.
“Sides writing, what can ye do?” he asks crossing his arms.
A sharp feeling in my sides forces me to curl, I quickly glance at my abdomen and lift the shirt inspecting the slivers that run from my waist up to my ribs, bright ivy was dripping from them sending my mind into a panic. He quickly moves over to me and inspects as well. All know the story of the beings that brought upon our world. As time went on some things digressed to a former planet's past. People enjoying the feeling of being at sea, since most of our home was the sea.
“Ye be a sea dweller as well?”
I send a curt nod. He begins cleaning my wounds and bandaging me up, he doesn’t explain a thing and locks me in a room that so happened to be next to his. I sit still for a long moment before inspecting my surroundings better. On the far wall sits a mirror as if a lady had resided here before, a trunk at the end of the bed containing robes and many dresses of jade, a desk with paper’s and beautiful scrawls spread across the parchment, a half empty ink bottle with the pen still inside. Sitting back in the bed I look carefully at the bandages. How had I been hurt? Where was my pendant? What even was my title? A voice suddenly intruded in my thoughts. "Do you swear to lie?" Swear to lie? I'm knocked from my thoughts when the handle on my door begins to shake. And in comes two whispering boys both bearing a striking match to the captain. They slowly come to a stop and stare at me, and I tilt my head in response.
“Are you the girl that they found drifting along sea?” asks the youngest one, he’s got a cape matching the captain and pushes up his glasses on his face like they’re too big on his small face.
“She can’t speak! Ya ninny, pa told you that even before he told us where to go!” shouts who I think is the older one, his hair is slicked back and he stands proudly without a cape to don his proud stature.
I slowly get up and walk over to the desk looking for a blank piece of parchment. Finding a whole stack in the drawer of the desk I quickly scribble a reply to the child.
‘Yes, I am. Is the captain your father?’ I show them the paper and I giggle silently as the younger one begins reading the note aloud slowly.
“He’s still learning to read,” states the older one.
‘What are your names?’ I show them the paper and as the shy wavy voice of the younger one asks me the same.
“We shouldn’t have to tell you ours if we don’t know yours,” the older one adds.
‘I don't have one, I have a title but that's hard to remember for some reason,' I sigh blowing my bangs from my eyes as I show them the note.
“Oh, then why don’t we give you a name?” offers the shy one.
“Really you wanna name everything that gets put on Pa’s ship don’t cha?” the proud one accuses.
"N-no, wouldn't it be hard to call her ‘you,' ‘girl,' or ‘sea dweller?" he counters with a frown.
‘I don’t mind the name, really. But I think my title has something to do with swearing to Lye,’ I think for a moment and scrawl a quick phrase ‘Lyeswear.’
“Hmm, cool title. If it is your real title, but let’s call you, (y/n)” states the proud one.
“Since you have a name now you can know ours, my name is Eridan,” smiles the young one bowing slightly.
“I’m Cronus, but you can call anytime,” winks the older one.
‘How about not, I’m old enough to be your ma. Besides you’re both so cute I wish you were my kids,” I chuckle.
“Pretty sure if Pa keeps you long enough you will be,” Cronus laughs.
I send him a pointed look and shake my head. ‘No, I asked him to keep me, as long as I am useful. I need to find my pendant so I can return to where I was.'
“What does it look like?” Eridan asks sitting next to me.
I quickly draw a gem wrapped in cord, ‘the gem is the same color as my blood.’
“Oh, I think I saw something like that in Dad’s room,” Eridan gasps running out of the room.
“Eridan, stop running away,” groans Cronus running after him.
I sit still and notice the captain leaning on the door frame, he walks over to me and looks me over again.
“Ta Lyeswear?” he quirks a brow and chuckles looking me up and down. “Pretty short to be that person, and lacking a lot of fins.”
‘Well, the boys wanna call me (y/n) so either way you address me I won’t really mind,’ I scribble. ‘Are they your boys?’
“Does it matter?” he sends me a narrow glare.
‘They’re beautiful. Remind me of you as a child. Eridan seems like he wants to be like you and Cronus is suave?’ I pause thinking for a moment. How would I know what this man was like as a child?
He raises a brow at me and shakes his head, “How would ye know what I was like as a child?” With another shake he pushes off the idea. “You’ll be with them for about an hour or two every day. Teaching them to write that is, and when we stop to port you will stay in here and not wander.”
I roll my eyes and quickly scribble a reply. ‘Aye, aye cap’n.’
He makes his leave and I continue to survey the room, two small desks sit up against the wall that is flush with the headboard of the bed. Quickly the small pairs of running feet return and I whip back to glance in their direction. Eridan falls trying to catch up with his brother and I quickly react by jumping from the bed and righting him. As he faces me I instantly notice the welling of translucent violet tears, wiping the tears I smile at him and pat his head gently to signal that everything is okay.
“I got the thing,” Cronus states proudly holding a gem wrapped in chord, but I know it isn’t my own.
I smile and accept the gift bending down for him to put the necklace on me.
“So, what are we learning today?” Eridan asks no trace of the sadness from before.
Grabbing the paper, I was writing on I quickly scribble a reply of ‘How about you both show me what you know so far, I’ll grab some paper for the both of you.’ I move over to the desk and then turn around to see them pulling paper form the other desks. I sit down on the bed and watch as they work away on the papers, it felt like almost a few second before Eridan was jumping from his seat to show me the scrawl that he had been working on. I take the paper and begin reading over it, so basic sentences and words maybe helping him with his reading too would be good. Cronus slowly slunk over to me with his paper, glancing over it I notice that he was having problems differentiating between certain words and writing some backward.
‘I’ll have something ready for you two tomorrow, if you want you can go now.’ I quickly write as I move over to the other desk and start writing on the paper what I will be doing.
“Would it be alright if we stay here?” asks the shyest of voices.
I nod knowing that I didn’t have anything for them to do now seeing as I was planning out what to do for tomorrow. Suddenly a shiver dances up my spine when I feel small hands in my hair, turning back slowly I realize that Eridan and Cronus are both playing with my hair. I ignore the unsettling shivers as I continue to write. For some reason, I remember the feeling of someone pulling on my hair and it bothering me to the point of cutting it.
“You have really long hair, (Y/n)” Cronus states catching me just the slightest bit off guard. (If you don’t just pretend you do)
I pause and turn back sending him a smile as a thank you. Not long after I realize they have both fallen asleep behind me and I smile again putting the pen back into its bottle. Knowing that I’m not going to be sleeping for some time, I carefully lay the boys out and placing a blanket on them. It was like a routine every day for weeks while at sea the boys would come into my room for their lessons and I would start working on the next day’s lesson as they played with my hair. Eventually falling to sleep for their father to take them out later. Two months I have been on this boat, and I refused to leave my cabin. Eridan and Cronus would take their meals with me and that was about it. So while I was writing waiting for Eridan to walk in with his twin brother in tow as a knock came to the door of my cabin.
“The cap’n told me to fetch ye,” shouts the voice.
I stare at the door making sure to grab a paper and pen to communicate with him. I walk out of the room looking around as I followed for the short walk to the Captain’s cabin. He didn’t seem excited or even like his mood changed ever, the tall man with the scars raking across his face watched as I walked in and stood by the door.
“So this is the little Ivy blood you’ve been keeping Duey?” smiles a woman dressed similarly to the Captain but with cerulean colors donning her.
“Shut up and figure out her name or where her wretched pendent resides so you can return to your boat and leave me alone to my business,” he demands with a sharp glare in her direction.
“Alright, fine. All you said was to find it out,” the woman remarks signaling for me to take a seat.
Hesitantly I make my way into the wooden chair, confusion etched lightly into my features. She walks closer taking care not to get too close that was out of the window when she decided to check my torso for any marks.
“What did your boys decide to call her?” the woman asks not looking at him and poking one of her long slender fingers against my gills that were all healed up.
I immediately react with slapping her hand away glaring, I hear a snicker from the captain while I push her away and push my top back to cover my body.
“(Y/N) is what they decided to call her,” he answers with an eye roll
“Well, she is indeed an Ivy blood. I’ll see if I can get her pendent for ye, but I’m going to have you lend her to me afterward for your payment to teach my wriggler to read or at least do numbers,” the woman smirks trailing a finger along my chin.
“We will see about that. You know better than I, that you will take whatever you want regardless of an agreement,” he spits as she leaves from the cabin.
I look over at the captain and scribble across the page with confusion, ‘Should I leave now?’
“No,” he shouts making me raise a brow and leer at him. “Where are you from?”
I glare scribbling. ‘If I knew I wouldn’t be in your hair, now would I?’
“I suppose you are correct,” he chuckles.
‘Why did you want me to stay?’ I write confused.
“To find out why the boys don’t wish to leave you alone,” he mumbles.
I roll my eyes and get off the chair walking to the desk. Placing a piece of paper in front of him and write. ‘I have to finish with the boy’s lesson. If you would like to sit in for the lesson, that is more than appreciated. Cronus said that he would like it a bit better if you spent more time with them.’
“Fine if it’s so important,” he grunts standing up.
I just roll my eyes and walk to the door waiting for him, the bags under his violet eyes seemed to have gotten deeper since I have gotten on the ship. With a stressed sigh I walk with him to my cabin where Cronus and Eridan are already starting their work. As soon as we walk in, Cronus frowns and pretends not to see his father as they both run over and embrace my waist. A silent laugh rumbles through my body as I pet their heads shooing them both back to their work.
“What are you doing here?” demands the small male crossing his arms.
“What’s it to you, go back to your work,” argues the older male.
With a heavy sigh, I quickly push Cronus into his chair instructing him to work. Then I grab paper scribing angrily and shoving the paper in his face. ‘If you are going to bother them, then I’m gonna have to ask you to stop, you are being childish.’
“He started it first,” he argues.
‘Cro is a child. Sit in my chair and you will be the one grading their arithmetic,’ I frown rubbing my temple slowly.
“You don’t tell me what to do,” he counters.
‘My class my rules.’ I furrow my brow.
He sits down without anymore grumbling, I share the small space that is left and start on the next plans I had. I learned very much about the woman who had resided here before and was writing a story with spelling errors for them to revise. The Captain watched me closely and that was staring to become quite aggravating. Eridan was finished with his work and when he attempted to hand it to me, I pointed toward his father. He reluctantly handed the stack of papers to the large man sitting back at his chair, I watched from the corner of my eye to see how he handled the assignment. Scrawled on a page close to him I had written that Eridan was working on determining which verb was correct and that Cro was still working on the difference between certain letters.
Duey examines the paper carefully taking my spare pen and writing corrections and little notes across the page. When he had finished with Eridan’s paper Cro had walked up with his paper. Eridan and Cro had found spots behind me plaiting my hair in odd ways, and I left Duey to the paper to edit.
“I suppose then that the lesson is over then,” the Captain inquires while brushing off invisible wrinkles in his clothing still sitting.
I send a small nod. ‘If you want to leave it’s fine by me, but I don’t think the small children sleepin on you would agree.’ I write showing him the paper.
He turns slightly and see that Cro had curled into his father’s cape like a babe, a calm look etched on his usually serious face while he slept. Somehow Eridan had nuzzled his head on his father’s leg, and I let lose a silent chuckle.
“Do they always fall asleep after their lesson?” he quirks a brow.
I nod slowly, ‘Yes, quite often they do. I don’t mind and usually keep myself busy somewhere in the room.’ I shrug showing him the paper.
“I am just dying for the moment we find your horrid pendant,” he grumbles.
‘Oh, and why’s that?’ I write raising a brow.
“So, I don’t have to wait for you to finish writing to see what you’re trying to say,” he grunts.
‘I suppose that might be a problem,’ I sigh leaning close and brushing some hair behind Eridan’s ear.
I smile and turn toward Cro, before I do anything I notice Captain Duey watching me with a close eye. Without hesitation I reach up and trace one of his long scars down his jaw and bite my lip before quickly going back to adjusting Cronus’ sleeping position. Looking back at the captain I see a troubled look scratched into his sleepy eyes.
“Do you like them?” he asks a bit like its being forced out of his mouth.
‘They’re your children, but I do enjoy their company,’ I write slowly and show him.
“Would you be willing to care for them if I left them to you?” he mutters.
‘Duey?’ I write confused.
“I can’t keep them running all over the ship, especially if we have to keep moving,” he sighs.
‘I’m only here as long as you need me to be,’ I write smiling.
“Will . . . Will you stay forever then?” he mumbles.
‘What?’
“Just look after them for me, I’ll give you everything you need. Just keep my guppies safe,” he looks at me with a frown.
‘No, look at me. Wait for a little bit longer please, sure they need a mother, but they need you more not me. I’m just a lusus if you look at it correctly. It’s what sea-dwellers call a guardian that isn’t blood related, how hard do you think it would be for them to live with me? I’m an Ivy blood not a fuchsia or violet blood,” I frown shoving the paper in his face.
“They need someone who can actually give them the attention that they need,” he counters.
‘You can give them that attention, you just have to choose the right time. You can’t just wait for work to finish to spend time with them. Hold on,” I write and hand him the paper before walking over to the boy’s desks.
Ruffling around in the drawer I find the papers that I’m looking for and walk over and hand it to him. I watch as he reads over my handwriting first.
“What is this?” he questions.
I point to the paper trying to get him to read it. Sitting on the bed and waiting for him to finish I look toward him, looking at him again so many months later it didn’t feel any different than if I had known him my whole life. He was relaxed, Eridan was still cuddled onto his lap and Cronus had managed to swing around to the other side and lay against Duey’s other leg.
“They wrote this,” he asks, and I answer with a nod.
I grab a paper and scrawl out a response, ‘They don’t wish any ill will toward you. And just by spending time with you I realize all they want is to spend some time with you. They want you and no one else.’
He nods and strokes both of their heads gently, it was slightly awkward cause here was with large angry looking man petting his two children as they slept. Suddenly I felt faint, but like I was underwater. So, it was no surprise to me when I had found that my gills were bleeding and that I was slowly crumbling to the ground. Duey watched in horror as I fell to the ground gasping for air, or more like water. Both boys shot up and tried with all their might to pick me up and lay me in the bed. Duey finally out of his trance called for the medic and some sea water after gracefully laying me on the bed and checking me over for any wounds. I could see everything that was happening as if in slow motion, Eridan and Cro fought against their father to get to me just to sit by my side as the medic of the ship looked over my body. And it hit me like a plate to the ground, that woman had put something on my gills before I smacked her hand away.
I lay there for a long time and I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do when I finally regained consciousness. Eridan and Cronus had set up permanent residence in my cabin, and I noticed that the Captain had kept his distance. It felt like an eternity in my room, but I found that only a month had passed. When I climbed out of bed slowly, I noticed that Cronus had run from the room probably to retrieve his father.
“(Y/N) can you come outside with us?” Eridan asks grabbing my hand.
I nodded and stood as best I could following the small boy. No one stopped us, and I found that quite peculiar seeing as how I was often stopped when attempting to adventure around the ship before. Cronus followed after us and I smile as both boys help me down toward the sand. It felt foreign immediately, but I just followed both boys as they glanced at the water. I attempted to sit on the sand while they wished to play in the water, but I was stopped.
“Come in the water with us, it should make you feel better, that’s what the book told us,” Eridan urges.
I stare at the two violet bloods and let out a silent giggle before following them into the water. Since they were so small the water was only up to my thighs when it got close to their waist. I motioned for them to wait there and moved farther back into the water, my skin n longer dry and the gasping feeling my body had felt before was gone. With a grin on my face I swam back toward them and hugged them tightly.
“You look better than before,” Cronus comments with a giggle.
I nod and kiss his forehead, turning to kiss his brother on the forehead too. Before I could make the walk out of the water I felt two large arms around my waist, and my seaweed green eyes met with vibrant laughing purple eyes. I pushed away gently holding back a silent giggle as Duey held me and his children in his arms. After a few moments in the water we left it to take a rest, as soon as we set foot on the sand I sat down and closed my eyes taking in the suns rays. But suddenly there was a new familiar weight on my collar bone, opening my eyes I see the emerald pendant that I had lost more than three months ago. I looked up and launched myself into the Captains arms hugging him tightly.
“Thank you,” I whisper.
He went rigid under my touch when he heard my voice, ivy green tears dripped from my eyes.
“Thank you for this, I really appreciate it,” I smile.
“Not a problem,” he grumbles setting me down to be attacked by the boys.
Eridan tackles me to the ground in a giggling fit a huge smile plastered on his lips, “The man was right, You’re all better now (y/n) I’m so happy.”
“Yeah,” I giggle hugging him close and sitting up so Cronus would come and join us.
“Are you going to leave now that you have your pendent?” Cronus frowns.
I look up at the captain, “Am I leaving Cap’n?”
“No, she’s not done teaching you both, yet is she?” he asks raising a brow.
Cronus smirks and hugs his father tight. “Are you goin ta marry her?”
“Uh, that’s a question for a different time,” he chuckles ruffling Cronus’ hair.
“Before or after we get a new sibling?” Eridan asks.
I blush a deep ivy hiding my face as best I can.
“So that’s a yes,” Cro asks.
“Alright let’s get back on the ship there’s business to tend to and now that the person with the best reading skill can speak there is a lot more jobs we are able to take,” Duey shouts.
Both boys groan as I smother a giggle while we walk back in the boat, the days passed quickly and felt like they were bleeding together. We were doing well with work and Eridan was picking up reading quicker now that I could help him out more, Cronus was being sneaky as ever and would pull pranks on me to get me riled up. It felt like only a few weeks had gone by, but it was already a month after I had been given my pendent back, I was extremely happy and content with the way life was going. But there was a sickening feeling boiling slowly in the pit of my stomach and it was very unsettling when I would get in the ocean.
“(Y/n)! Are you alright?” asks the shaky voice of Eridan.
“I’m fine guppy. Do you need something?” I mutter as a slow burning pain started forcing its way under my think pan.
“Can I stay in here with you?” he mumbles.
“Of course. Fighting with Cronus?” I whisper ruffling his hair.
“No, father is worried about something and it’s hard to sleep with his pacing,” Eridan sighs as he climbs into my bed.
“Well sleep here for tonight. Your father told me that we are meeting two princesses tomorrow, and I hope you are excited,” I chuckle while pulling him close to my body, so he can rest easy.
It didn’t take long for him to fall asleep and even less time for him to be completely unconscious, just as I was getting ready to fall asleep the door slammed open. Duey’s usually pushed back hair was all over his face and he looked as if he had just woken up form a nightmare.
“Thank the moon he’s in here,” he gasps slumping to the ground next to my bed.
“He heard you pacing from his room, so he came here.” I smile reaching over to push his hair back in place.
“I’m not sure about the visit with the Empress tomorrow,” he sighs, his eyes were obviously lacking the proper amount of sleep.
I shift in my bed climbing out and sitting on the floor facing him.
“It will be fine.” I frown as he looks away. “Look at me, everything is going to work out fine. Do you understand me, King Ampora?”
“Call me anyfin but that,” he groans looking at me with a frown.
“Alright, but you can do it tomorrow understand?” I confirm.
He nods and places a chaste kiss on my forehead making my face fill with color. I smile standing up and turning to pick up the small boy sleeping on my bed, but instead am pulled down into a warm embrace. The sinking feeling in my stomach is burning now. When morning rolls around we are all rushing to finish getting ready. Cronus was nowhere to be found no matter where we looked, everyone was on deck searching for the boy.
“Duey, what could have happened?” I gasp, almost tripping on the garment that I was given. “He was there when we woke up. Why isn’t he here now?”
“(Y/n) calm down. He will be found, please just sit down and breathe.” Duey commands forcing me to sit on one of the crates sitting by the ships edge.
I wait patiently looking around worried as the time feels to drag on, when my eyes lock with small scared purple orbs.
“Cronus,” I shout jumping to grab the child bringing him to my chest.
“I just went for a swim before we had to go to the Palace. I saw some shells that I thought you might like and it took a little longer than I thought to persuade a grumpy crab for a trade,” he grumbles.
“I was still worried. Well, all’s well now that you are found,” I sigh as I push his hair back slightly.
“Geeze if I didn’t know any better, I would say you’re acting like a mom (Y/n),” he rolls his eyes.
“Would you like to get smacked?” Duey growls.
Cronus slips from my death grip and runs behind me, and I laugh shaking my head shooing the small boy away to get dressed.
“I will have to do something grand to make her forgive me for being late,” he groans.
“From what you have relayed to me about this Empress she is an appriciater of fine jewelry, correct?” I ask with a smile.
“What are you planning you little vixen?” he chortles.
“Something that should make her be accepting of your tardiness,” I smile running to the cabins.
As I fly down the stairs I quickly dig through the trunk laying at the wall of the room, and quickly pull out an intricate piece of jewelry covered with pinkish purple gems. Since being an ivy blood, this color didn’t suit my fancy, so I thought it be better if someone else have it.
“Come on mom,” calls a shaky voice.
I pause and whip my head around locking eyes with Eridan, and a smile walking over to the small boy. With a grin plastered on my lips while we walk back to the deck.
“Someone seems to be in a wonderful mood after almost losing their cool not too long ago,” Duey chuckles.
“Come on Father, Mother is only happy cause we have a great gift to apologize for being late,” Cronus chirps up grabbing both our hands.
We all board a carriage and make the silent ride to a wondrous palace. It was decorated in fuchsia and black with gold accents to brighten the rooms. While walking through the doors I kept a bit farther behind the children and almost ran into Duey’s back when he came to a stop.
“King Dualscar, you’re late. I will let it pass since we have more important matters to attend to,” bellows the tall woman. “Have your little tanked guppy look after the children.”
Duey turns to me and the boys with a weak smile, “Both of you know where to take her right?”
“O’ course we do dad, leave it to us,” Cronus chuckles.
Both boys grip my hand tightly and before I can get my bearings I’m being dragged quickly down a maze of halls. When we approach what I would consider a normal height for doors, I can hear laughing inside.
You can call me cringe all you want you're the one reading this I just wrote it. and If I'm cringe for having an imagination blame the system
anyway Kirishima x oc (no I did not spell that word wrong)

I was used to every day being an adventure especially when you attend UA, but when a red-haired boy burst into my classroom, I wasn’t sure what to say.
“Is Midoriya-san in this classroom?” the boy gasps looking over the classroom
“What do you need her for?” Sensei asks turning his attention to the other student.
“Her brother is in the infirmary; it was really serious this time.”
“Go, your make up work will be on your desk,” sensei states shooing me away.
I quickly scramble to get to the door and follow the red-haired boy taking a quick bow before scurrying out the door. Running after him I found that it wasn’t all that crowded, but we almost slipped when Present Mic sensei told us to stop running in the halls.
“Yes sir,” we both nodded as we instead fast-walked to the infirmary.
At the door my hand seems to stop just before the handle, my body froze in place staying behind the tallboy. He seemed to notice quickly and turned to look at me.
“Why? Why does he keep getting hurt?” I feel the familiar sting of tears as my voice cracks.
He just stands there and soon the hot tears are sliding down like a waterfall from my eyes.
He chuckles awkwardly. “Only a Midoriya can cry like that.”
“How did he get hurt?” I mumble through the tears.
“Bakugou well he was being too rough and…” he pauses. “That is a very scary look on your face Midoriya.”
I huff wiping the tears from my eyes. “Oh really, I wouldn’t know. Kacchan has been a pain in the ass for a long time now.”
“What?”
“He’s done nothing but pick on us for our entire lives, Izuku wasn’t unable to use his quirk until recently and he always teased him for being quirkless. But his attitude was what boils my blood the most.”
“Woah come on I’m sure that Midoriya is awake. Wait no, I haven’t asked but what is your first name?”
“Hisako, just call me that from now on.”
“Well, he’s in there.”
With a small nod I walk into the infirmary, my brother was lying in a bed covered in bandages.
“Oh, Midoriya-san. I think your brother is going to need help on the way home today,” Recovery girl smiles sweetly to me.
I send her a smile and bow slightly. “Um, I’m sorry that he troubles you so often.”
“I’m the school nurse that’s my job,” she shrugs.
“Not as much as you see him, please let me know the next time he’s in here,” I ask.
She sends a small nod. “Could I trouble you and Kirishima to mind the office for a moment? I need to go grab some things; I’ll be back as quick as I can.”
“I don’t mind, Aizawa sensei canceled the rest of class so everyone could rest,” the red-haired boy replies.
I nod as well and wave a little bit as she walks away. Taking slow steps toward the bed and just by my brother’s face when he makes eye contact with me, I know that my face doesn’t have the happiest expression.
“Hisako, there’s steam coming out of your mouth,” Izuku points out as I frown more.
I huff. “Oh really, I wonder why? Maybe it’s because my idiot twin brother has possibly broken his limbs again for whatever reason, I will never know.”
“I didn’t mean to get hurt, I’m just not used to my quirk yet,” he whimpers.
My vision is clouded. “Why couldn’t you have dad’s quirk or mom’s quirk or gotten it sooner? You basically get hurt every day, I don’t know if I should be surprised when you end up in the infirmary or the hospital.”
Kirishima awkwardly stands by the door.
“Hisako, please stop crying. You’re gonna flood the infirmary,” he pleads.
Taking a moment to calm down I sit down on the ground by the bed. My jaw ached as I clenched it shut, but I almost screamed when I was off the ground.
“We are going to wait in the hall for Recovery Girl to return,” Kirishima sighs as he walks out the door.
I look up at him confused as he keeps walking. “We’re not waiting by the door, are we?”
“I just watched you cry twice, and the second time was enough to almost flood the room.”
Shaking my head, I try to break free of his arms.
“Don’t do that or you’re gonna fall.”
“You expect me to sit in your arms?”
An all too familiar voice interrupts. “Hisako when did you stop wearing shorts under your uniform?” Asks the ash-blond about to walk out the door.
I cover my face. “That is the last question that I have ever expected you to ask, Kacchan.”
“I only noticed cause your shorts were always longer than your skirts.”
“Are you sexually harassing this girl, Bakugou?” a new voice interrupts [our conversation].
“She’s Deku’s damn sister,” Kacchan frowns.
Kirishima puts me on my feet and holds me steady. “I thought while we wait for Midoriya to recover a little bit she could sit in the classroom with us.”
“I’m going home, those two idiots should go home too,” Kacchan scoffs as he walks away.
Not paying him any mind as he walks away. “He’s right. I should go and collect my work and my bag.”
“Wait, you’re Midoriya’s sister?”
“Yes, last time I checked?”
“You look so much like him.”
“We are twins.”
“What’s he like at home?”
“Normal, what am I supposed to say?”
“How about we all sit in the classroom instead of making her stand out here,” Kirishima suggests pushing into the classroom gently.
The others comply and I find myself sitting at a desk surrounded by people.
“I have become a spectacle indeed,” I mumble shaking my head a little bit.
“You have really long hair,” someone points out.
“If I cut it my hair curls as much as Izuku’s,” I sigh.
When can I get ready to leave?
“Did you know about his quirk before we started high school?” the boy who had asked Kacchan if he was harassing me asks, he had blond hair and a little black mark in it.
I shake my head. “No, I didn’t know.”
“What is your quirk by the way?” Kirishima asks.
I raise a brow. “Hmm, I can breathe fire. So far, it’s only a red flame and a blue flame, it comes in handy when I’m working. And I can attract objects to me kind of like telekinesis if you want to call it.”
“So that’s why Midoriya was worried when smoke was coming out of your mouth,” Kirishima nods.
I shake my head. “No, I have a bad habit of literally blowing off steam when I’m angry.”
“She gets angry too often if you ask me,” Kacchan hisses as he throws a bag at me.
“Thanks, cranky pants,” I stick out my tongue.
Fixing my backpack, I look over at Kirishima. “By the way, I forgot to thank you, Kirishima.”
“Not a problem,” he laughs a bit sitting down.
“I have a vague idea of who everyone is, Izuku’s hero tracking notes always have really good pictures inside it. Mine can’t exactly match his but I gave him one on my class,” I chuckle a little. “From whom I can see Aoyama-san, Yaoyorozu-san, Uraraka- san, and Iida-san are here. And Denki is the one who asked if Kacchan was harassing me.”
“I wasn’t harassing you, usually you wear your damn shorts under your skirts,” Kacchan rolls his eyes.
“How would you know that Bakugou?” Kirishima asks.
He huffs. “She climbs trees too often, why do you have to be the one to get the cat anyway?”
“Because you might blow it up,” I shake my head putting the bag on the ground.
“What do you have in there?” Yaoyorozu asks.
I feel my cheeks heat up. “Um projects in progress. I’m trying to transfer to the support class because at first, I was trying to get into the hero course. Since I got placed in general studies, I thought I’d ask for a transfer after the sports festival.”
“You’re still making support items?”
“You act like we haven’t known each other for years.” I roll my eyes.
Placing the bag down I open it to look inside. “Damnit,” Pulling the smashed box out I frown. “No matter how many times I tell you not to throw my things you do it anyway.”
“Not my problem,” he waves off.
I frown at the broken contraption and sigh. “I made stuff for Izuku, but he never uses my support items.”
“What kind have you made?” Yaoyorozu asks looking at the box in my hand.
“In general, or for Izuku?” I ask looking down.
“You mainly make stuff for that damn Deku,” Kacchan hisses.
I raise a brow. “I made you plenty of things, but you find a way to blow everything up. You know how hard it is for someone to just get things that are nitroglycerine proof?”
“What have you made for Bakugou?”
“Can I tell em?” I mumble as he glares. “Well, I’m going to say it anyway. Sometimes Kacchan gets sensory overload, so I made glasses to first block his vision. The glasses had a sensor that read the rate in his heart to see if it’s irregular. One time I made him gloves to store some of the sweat from his gloves when we were in elementary school. He blew them up because he didn’t think to empty them. I made a mask to protect other’s when my fire breath was out of control, he got it caught in his backpack and you know what happened to that.”
“Wow.” Someone nods.
“We knew Bakugou was explosive, but we didn’t realize it was to that extent,” Kirishima laughs.
I take a glance at the time on my phone. “Could I have my brother’s bag if we get home too late my mother will worry?”
“That’s right,” Kirishima grabs my brother’s bag and walks toward the door. “Come on. I can help you two home.”
Raising a brow, I follow after and notice the second bag in his hand. “This isn’t going to cause an inconvenience is it?”
“No of course not,” he laughs.
I can feel Kacchan glaring daggers into my back. Walking slowly to the infirmary I find that my face sours as we get there.
“Hisa, what’s wrong?” Izuku frowns,
“Nothing don’t worry about it,” I roll my eyes as he sits up.
“Don’t make faces like that Hisako, he didn’t mean to get hurt like that,” Kirishima adds as he ruffles my hair.
This makes the buns in my hair loosen and I cover my face as the sections of hair roll out. The top part of my hair was significantly shorter than the bottom half so it curled like Izuku’s, I would put in the buns to keep from letting anyone see it.
“I didn’t know that was going to happen, I’m sorry.” Kirishima apologizes trying to look at my face through my hands.
“Let’s just get started going home,” I sigh as I shake my head.
Izuku wasn’t aware at first why Kirishima was with me, but when his legs refused his weight it became clear.
“Wait, we can wait a little bit longer before going home I don’t wanna bother Kirishima-kun,” brother mutters.
I roll my eyes. “I told mom that we are having a friend come by, also she texted me a little bit ago worried about why we aren’t back yet.”
“That settles that,” Kirishima grins. “I’ll carry you on my back.”
The only way I could explain the walk home was very embarrassing, to avoid any odd looks we walked all the way home. Once at the door I had to figure out where my bag was since I was the one holding everyone’s bags, I almost cried as I opened the door.
“You’re back, um welcome thank you for taking care of my kids,” mom smiles as Kirishima walks in with Izuku on his back.
“Not a problem ma’am, Midoriya is taking care of me more than I am him,” Kirishima smiles able to take off his shoes quickly.
“Izu got hurt during training, I don’t know what happened. That’s really all I know,” I sigh placing my shoes on the rack.
Mom pulls me into a small hug. “How was school?”
I place the bags down gently and slowly produce the small device from earlier. “Kacchan broke it again, how am I supposed to return something that he keeps breaking?!”
“You can fix it again, can’t you?” she asks a bit worried.
“Yeah, but I hate asking for money to buy the parts,” I grumble as we walk to Izuku’s room.
“You can help him in there, he has crutches for this exact reason,” I mumble.
Kirishima nods and puts my very quiet brother down. “It’s like a fanboy paradise in here.”
I shake my head and walk to my room about to close the door I almost jump when a hand stops me.
“What are you doing?”
“I was curious about what your room looked like,” he states.
“Let me change then you can invade my workshop,” I grumble trying to close the door.
Surprisingly he lets go of the door and I shut it locking it as I turn to look at the mess of old projects. Thanks to the slowly increasing time that Izuku was spending in hospitals or the infirmary I found that it was harder to keep up with all the things piling on my desk. Removing the school uniform, I pull a shirt and pair of shorts on, hoping to train a little bit before dinner.
Opening the door, I look around to see if he waited by the door, not finding the smiling red head I walk to Izuku’s room. “Hey, you can look now, it’s nothing special.”
“Sweet, I’ve been pretty curious about what you two were like since I met Midoriya,” Kirishima smiles.
“Don’t see why, we’re normal people like everyone else,” I mutter.
Izuku looks down then back up at me. “Hey, what happened after you left the infirmary?”
“We went to your classroom, Kacchan was looking up my skirt and then everyone asked questions. Nothing different from normal, this is the first time that we’ve been in separate classes,” I point out leaning on the doorway.
He seems to take a double take before asking. “Kacchan looked up your skirt?”
“Your classmate thought I was too teary eyed to walk on my own, Kacchan asked why I didn’t have my shorts like usual,” I sigh. “I’m going back to my room.”
Walking into the room I notice that the male was carefully inspecting the things on my desk.
“You know, you can touch the stuff. It won’t break easily, I’ve learned my lesson when it comes to that,” I state.
“Well I mean I was just looking; it wouldn’t be very right for me to touch your things without permission,” he nods.
Walking the room, I take a seat on my bed and raise a brow. “So, do you know how to get home from here, or do you need help?”
“Well it wouldn’t very heroic of me to lie, I am at a complete loss when it comes to getting home from here.” He admits rubbing the back of his hair.
I pick up my phone and quickly press the contact at the top. I wait a few rings before hearing a click.
“What the hell do you want you damn nerd? I told you to lose my number a long time ago,” hisses the voice on the other side.
I frown. “Kacchan, Kirishima is at our house and doesn’t know how to get back you think you could help me direct him in the right direction.”
He’s quiet, Kirishima raises a brow.
“You remember how to get to my house?”
“Duh, your mom invited me to make cookies with my mom later this week,” I roll my eyes getting off the bed and waving my hand for Kirsihima to follow.
“Then why didn’t you bring that Damn shitty hair here?” he growls.
I pout. “I’m on my way now. Not like you came to visit much since you moved.”
“I’m not visiting you fucking nerds.”
With that the phone hangs up and I look back at the tall boy.
“I’ll take you to Kacchan’s house and he can help you from there.” I smile.
Walking toward the front door I see mom making dinner, and it seems like the movement toward the door is an indication for her to pay attention to us.
“Where are you going?” she asks not bothering with any fluff.
“I’m taking Kirishima to Kacchan’s house, so he can help him home,” I mumble looking at her. “I hardly go out as much as Izuku, I barely know how to get anywhere other than the second-hand parts store.”
She frowns. “It’s the first time that you brought a friend over I thought that he could have dinner.”
“Do you want to stay for dinner?” I turn to him.
“As long as I’m not being a burden,” he smiles.
“Dinner will be ready in a little bit, just wait a little bit longer,” she smiles.
I lead Kirishima back to Izuku’s room and frown. “I’m sorry. I hope we aren’t bothering you or anything.”
“What happened Hisa?”
“Kirsihima’s staying for dinner.”
“It’s really alright, I’ll just stay at Bakugou’s house if it gets too late.” Kirishima suggests.
I look at my phone and sigh. “Speaking of which I should text him so he doesn’t wait outside, hopefully we can get you home before Kacchan goes to sleep.”
“What do you mean?”
“Kacchan goes to sleep early, he gets up before the sun for training usually. And in turn he sleeps really early, he’s also not one for getting up late,” I sigh.
“How did you know that?” Kirishima’s confused voice reaches my ears as I start to type.
“He and I dated for a little bit,” I state as I send the text.
Izuku looks at me blankly. “Wait when did that happen?”
“A little bit during middle school,” I reply as a message flashes on screen. “Remember that small window of time where Kacchan left you alone, I was why.”
“How come you broke up?”
“He’s more like an overprotective brother, more so than you,” I sigh.
Taking a seat at the desk I frown.
“I feel like I learned something that I shouldn’t, or would have been better off not knowing,” Kirishima leans against the door.
“I would have told Izu, but I was sworn to secrecy and forgot after for a little bit,” I explain.
Both boys look at me. “That doesn’t even make any sense.”
“Kid’s dinner’s ready,” Mom’s voice catches us off guard.
Izu is helped to the table by Kirishima and I follow after. My phone starts to ring at the table and mom sends me a pointed look.
“Hisa don’t you dare answer that,” she orders.
I nod and we start to eat, mom made curry. This was supposed to be my day to cook, but with coming home late and having to entertain a guest, I had forgotten. Kirishima was respectful the entire time. Walking him to Kacchan’s house lead to my ear almost being blown off.
“Why the hell would you wait so long to bring him over here?”
“Mom made him stay for dinner, sorry that I can’t get mad at my mom like you do yours,” I push the looming blond away from me.
“Come on you two you got along at one point, there is no point in waking up the entire neighborhood for something like this. Just let’s get ready to go,” Kirishima states.
“You’re spending the night, the old hag won’t let me walk to the station this late,” Kacchan huffs.
I nod at the both of them and start walking back.
“Wait we can’t let her walk back on her own,” Kirsihima calls as I take a small glance back.
Pulling out a candy in my pocket I eat it and look back to the two. Blowing a large flame in Kacchan’s direction I begin on my way back to the house.
“She can handle herself,” Kacchan spits as I round the corner, and continue to walk.
Classes were going alright, I got approved for the transfer and I was in the support course in the next year. I was to keep producing support items for as many people as would ask. Sadly, since I wasn’t very well displayed during the sports festival no one knew about me. Sitting in the workshop after classes one day I fixed the mask carefully.
“Hey Hisako,” A cheery voice startles me, and I look back to the male.
“Oh, hi Kirshima,” I nod as I fix the last screw.
“What are you working on?”
“Just a few adjustments and it should be finished,” I smile.
I hand the mask over to him and wait for him to put it on. Raising a careful brow, he puts it on, with the mask on it didn’t look like much had changed.
“What is it supposed to do?” he asks as a sonic wave booms out.
“I asked Present mic from one of his old support items, I made it lighter and the feedback lower. It can help with other’s with similar quirks as him,” I sit up a bit straighter. “I haven’t really been able to make anything for anyone else since no one has asked me for anything.”
He looks at the mask before taking it off and nods. “Would you be able to make it smaller? I know someone who would benefit from it greatly.”
Looking at the mask I nod and turn off the power before I quickly pull the small pieces apart and lay it on the table. “Smaller, I can try to do that. Anything else?”
“How about kind of softer,” he adds.
“I’ll work on it.”
With this task I finished by the end of the week. I texted Kirishima that it was finished. When he came to the workshop, he brought someone else with him.
“Hello, my name is Midoriya Hisako,” I introduce to the tall person.
He’s silent.
“She made something for you. Midoriya told me a bit about your quirk Koji. Hisako, his sister was toying with one of Present Mic’s old support items and made it lighter and smaller,” Kirishima states as he presents my Frankenstein.
He looks to me then back at Kirishima.
“You can take it if you like, not many people have asked me to make anything for them. If it helps that’s all I really hope for. If not just return it,” I shrug as I slide off my chair and start sifting through my box.
I pull the small box that Kacchan had destroyed and pull the pieces apart to account for what needed to be replaced and what could be fixed. I heard footsteps leave, assuming that both had left I pull my cellphone out of my pocket and press play.
“What are you working on now?” Kirishima’s voice makes me jump.
Placing a hand on the table to stabilize myself and switch off the pull I chuckle. “I broke something a long time ago, but Kacchan keeps breaking it so I’ve never been able to return it. It was my dad’s, but he hasn’t been around.”
Kirishima seems to take a seat next to me as I sort through the pieces and place the ones that need a replacement to the side. It wasn’t long before he tapped my shoulder.
“We gotta leave soon.”
“Right,” I pull the contraption back together and put it back before grabbing my backpack.
“Want me to walk you to the station?”
“I’m a big girl I can handle myself, I appreciate the offer though,” I pull the strap on my bag tight as I walk to my locker.
After changing my shoes, I feel a hand on my waist.
“Where you are going?”
“What’s it matter to you?”
“Just wondering a cutie like you walking around so late in the evening,”
I considered the consequences for blowing fire into his face. “I’m headed for a date with my boyfriend.”
“I don’t see anyone that fits that bill, maybe I could be a stand in.”
Pointing to the redhaired male that is walking for the gate I try to break his grip and walk over.
“Looks like he’s leaving without you,”
“Kiri!” I call to the male.
My face is pulled with discomfort and before I have time to react Kirishima walks over and pulls me from the boy’s grip effortlessly.
“I’m a third-year, you can’t do that,”
“She looked rather uncomfortable,”
Kirishima keeps me to his side and I nod a little bit.
“She’s not worth my time anyway. I don’t chase after girls already with someone.” Huffs the male as he walks away.
Kirishima looks back at me and raises a brow. “What was that about?”
“I don’t know, but I owe you one,” I let go of the breath I had been holding tightening my bag.
“I’m gonna walk you home, that way we can make sure that you get there.”
“I don’t wanna inconvenience you again. I can walk home on my own,”
He sends me a pointed look before he follows. Once at the train station I considered sending him away, but he was already following me. On the train car it was a little bit crowded, to try and combat that I squished myself to a corner. An odd jolt made it hard to stand, Kirishima was there to brace my stance.
I just want to sit with him, his back against mine while I feel his heartbeat, just vibing. I haven’t spoken for hours at this point, and I know he’s probably waiting for me to finally tell him what had been bugging me but there’s nothing. I just missed him. I wanted to be next to him, I wanna feel his warmth next to me. If I turn to him, he’s probably gonna make me drink a full cup of water but I wouldn’t be mad because he’ll still be next to me and that’s all I want.

"(Y/N), are you sure about this?" Aranea asks with a raised brow.
"Yes I'm sure, look I know it might not make sense right now, but it's like she's taken over every part of me and I can't imagine a life without her Nea," I sigh looking at the rings under the pane of glass.
"Well, why did you bring me with you again?" She closes her book glancing at me.
"Because you're the only other person who knows what she likes, I want it to be perfect," I smirk, still looking at the matching rings. "Also you are her ring size."
She sends me a glare as the clerk walks over. "What a nice eye you got there ma'am. Are you both?" She points between Ara and me.
"Oh, no. It's a surprise this is my sister," I smile.
"Oh, well the lucky lady must be ecstatic," she sighs.
Pushing my long bangs from my eyes I just nod asking if I could look at the rings.
"You know if you wanted to get stuff for her you could have asked mom," Ara whispers.
"She already does too much for me," I shake her off.
After about 30 minutes of conversation we got the ring. I hold the box tightly in my pocket, I already know where I'm headed.
"Thanks for dropping me off, but you know she would have liked any of those rings as long as you got it with the intention of giving it to her," Aranea explains before going in.
"I know, but I wanted to get her the best one. Nothing less for her, if I could I'd give her the world," I sigh as I begin trekking back to my apartment.
Not very long after, I'm home, and as soon as I open the door I can tell she's not back yet. Setting the box in a vase that we always keep empty I make my way to my studio, glancing at the door I shake my head and sit down starting work. Mee has always told me the world could collapse while I'm working and I won't notice.
"Hey, (Y/n), can you come here?" She asks, catching me off guard.
I pull off my headset and walk out of the room. "Sup babe?"
"Do you know someone named Megido?" She asks, looking at a business card.
"Yeah, she was an ex of mine. I stopped talking to her after we broke up. It was a clean cut, we didn't want anything to do with one another, why?" I ask, sitting on the couch and pulling her into my lap.
Her loose locs spill over the arm of the chair and I smile looking at her. "Hmmm, guess I'll leave this alone." She nods, ripping the card.
Holding her close I start rubbing circles into her back, she sends me a scrunched glare. I shake my head and pick her up walking back to my office.
"Hey what are you doing?" She squeaks.
"I'm taking you with me while I work, all these smiles you're sending me are making me motivated to finish quickly, but that might disappear if you aren't with me," I explain.
"Babe, you haven't done that in a while," she speculates, raising a brow.
"So I'm not allowed to just want you next to me," I frown, still holding her.
"You're ordering dinner tonight no arguments," she bargains and I chuckle, pulling her from a bridal carry to a princess carry.
"Of course heiress," I smile, kissing her gently.
She rolls her eyes and starts playing with my spare tablet while I work. After what only felt like minutes I was done, she had her back pressed to mine with a raised brow at the tablet. She seemed to have been looking through the pictures.
"Shit, I forgot to send that to the computer. I groan looking at the picture of her sleeping figure that she was glaring at.
"When did you take this?" She questions a bit mad.
"Well obviously when you were sleeping a few days ago," I shrug.
"I'm deleting it," she confirms with a sigh.
"What? But why?!" I whine, turning to wrap my arms around her waist.
"Because it looks bad," she pouts. "And cause it's of me, I don't want you taking pictures of me sleeping."
"But that one is my favorite," I frown into her hair.
The picture in question was a pretty nice one, the sun was peeking through the window behind me so her face was graced with a warm glow that one usually wouldn't see. Her hair was framing her face and she was holding my hand while she slept. It was pressed right up against her temple, I could remember how numb my arm was cause it had been there most of the morning. She had an innocent smile on her full lips like she was keeping a secret, and she was mostly tangled in the blanket.
"Why would that be your favorite?" She scoffs, obviously feeling conflicted by my reply.
"Because, hmm. You were so hung over that morning I don't think you know what you said," I shrug and her face quickly becomes pink with her fuchsia blood color.
"Wwhat? You tell me right now what I said or so help me," she stuttered turning her head to look at me.
I press my forehead to hers and kiss her full on the lips smirking against them when the kiss ends.
"You told me you loved me in your sleep," I chuckle.
"What?" She quirks a brown more confused.
"I was up way before the alarm because before going to sleep I thought I wanna wake up at six so I can see what you look like when the sun rises. I just kind of laid in the dark until the light started peeking through and I just wanted to capture you just like that, but before I took the picture you gripped my hand tightly and whispered that you loved me," I explained nuzzling into her neck.
I could feel the warmth quickly rushing up to her cheeks as she locked my tablet and set it down. That might have been one of the first times I really told her how much she meant to me.
A few days passed and I noticed that Mee was coming back home more and more teary, some new employee was working their way into Her social life. Apparently, it was someone I didn't know because she wouldn't tell me their name.
It feels like weeks and every time she gets frustrated more easily, I know it's nothing I can fix. She would have told me by now I have no right to just barge into her work when I work from home. Seeing her come home in pain every day is just suffocating like she doesn't know what to do. Seeing my usually proud girl slump into the couch with puffy eyes and a shaky chest to match her ragged breathing always unsettled me.
"(Y/n), did you love her?" She whispers and I send a look at her like I was taken aback.
"Who?" I ask.
"You know damn well who," she shouts, pushing me back.
I stare confused, hurt now flooding my face. It wasn't even the fact that I had been pushed to the ground by a fuchsia blood, it was because she doubted my love for her.
"I don't know who. You're usually so fucking blunt and hate beating around the bush," I grunt standing back up as a hurricane of emotions flood the air.
"Damara," she mutters hesitantly.
"What about her? I already told you we broke up no contact after that clean break," I clench my fist anger bubbling up to the top like lava popping through the surface of the earth.
"She said that..." she starts, realization and reluctance to finish her statement run across her face.
"Just, stop. I don't give a fuck what that bulge licker said. Whatever she told you was a lie, and if you're so blind by jealousy, love, that you wouldn't confront me from the beginning then I guess I should leave," I sigh, my fists clenched tight.
Walking into our room I grab a backpack and start throwing clothes inside. Leaving my phone and charger I walk into the office and pull out my tablet and laptop quickly forcing them into the half-empty bag. Without a glance cause I know I would break down into tears and try to keep her from crying more.
"I'll see you around cuddlefish," I sigh, closing the door.
Running down to the garage I board my bike and drive to the only place I know is safe. The Serket house. When I walked in after opening the door Min took a glance at me.
"What happened?" She asks, pulling my bag off my shoulder.
"Shit, I fucked up," I scream banging my hand against the wall with almost enough to force to shatter my knuckles but it just quickly purples into a bruise.
"Whoa, calm down honey, it can't be that bad," my mom offers.
"She will never trust me again mom, do you understand that. I was trying so hard not to lose her. I was going to propose, but that fucking bitch just had to come back into my life," I sob falling to my knees.
"Honey, look at me it's me not mom remember," reminds the blond woman before me.
"I'm sorry miss Serket. I'm just so scrambled right now," I mumble shaking my head. "If that ugh, Damara wasn't even someone I was with for long, how could it affect Mee the way it did," I shake my head more slumping to the ground.
Suddenly the door slams open.
"What in the everlasting fuck did you do to her?" A shout catches my ear
"I didn't do shit, ask fucking Damara. She just waltzed in said some shit to Mee when I had my back turned and all of a sudden I was out on my ass. You knew what I had planned, I love her Aranea, I'm a mess without her," I sigh pushing my bangs back.
"So is she, she was about to shatter a very expensive case of yours till she heard it rattle," she notifies me.
"What? N, no don't tell me I forgot the ring at the apartment," I gasp patting myself down scrambling for the door.
"Go get her," Min shouts as I leave.
The rain comes down just as I make my way to the street. My hair sticking to my face and neck as I run, chest screaming for air as I feel like I'm holding my breath. Stumbling up the stairs and coming to a stop at our door. I open the door and see her sitting on the couch.
"Did you see it?" I whisper, startling her.
"When did you? You're soaked from head to toe," she mutters, grabbing a towel and walking over to me.
Looking down at her I chuckle as tears well up in my eyes. "About a month ago, I went with Nea. She wanted me to get something from her mom instead, but I wanted the fuchsia one for you."
I close the door as the towel is rubbed against my face and through my hair. She refuses to make eye contact with me, letting out a groan. I just wanna run away. Before I can walk away she wraps the towel around my shoulders and pulls me close.
"Why did I let you get so close," she mutters as she kisses me roughly.
"Because I made you my home, so if you kick me out I have nowhere else to go," I chuckled, pulling her into a hug.
I just wanted to write a character that happened to be Present Mic's big sister and also had a fling with All might at some point in her life.
Don't be mad at me.

“Mom, Japan is huge.” Your daughter smiles as you guide her through toward your new apartment.
“We lived in America for a while honey, it's just new.” As you remind her of this you almost miss the face she makes.
“Mom, I have seen everything in America, it’s boring. People suck, and you said I get to see dad if we come to Japan,” she sasses.
Stopping for a second you frown. “Hizuru. Stop it.”
She looks at you and pouts. “You promised.”
“I know, you can see him but I don’t know about telling him,” you grumble. “Anyway, let’s go home. We still have to unpack.”
Traveling wasn’t something you liked to do but nearly ten years ago you decided to leave Japan for work, it was as if you were an accidental runaway bride. But it takes two to tango.
Hizuru bore a strong resemblance to her father, a strong frame and tall, she was only ten and nearing five feet already. You knew she was about to hit a growth spurt, and you were worried how her quirk would adapt with that. Long blond hair, but your eyes,
She got a combination of your own quirk with your dads, the ability to manipulate and detect close range threats. Your quirk threat-detect was helpful but that was only one aspect to your quirk. It seemed she didn’t get her father’s quirk or any inkling of it. You didn’t know his parents' quirks so you couldn’t say that she got it from his side.
“Mom, does dad know?”
You stop cutting the box open. “I haven’t been able to talk to your father since I left Japan. Luckily I was able to register you as a Japanese citizen.”
“Yeah, lucky.”
“Stop whining. I- will see about the two of you meeting. If I grab your hand don’t say anything, if I don’t you can say something,” you sigh.
“Okay mom.”
Maybe ten days later you looked at your hero uniform then to the door.
“Hello Nezu.”
“Radar, it’s been some time. Have you been well?”
“Yeah, do you really want me to start as a teacher here? For second year English no less?” You frown.
“Unless you want to teach art.”
You look down and think for a moment. “Art might be the better choice. I think I wanna stop using English.”
“Alright, good. I’ll let everyone else know. You mentioned that you had a daughter? Did you get married back in America?”
“No, you know I could never do that.” You laugh.
You grew up in a sense with Nezu.
“I know your strong attachment to Yagi.”
You stop. “Anyway, I should start getting my lesson plans ready. Wouldn’t want to underwhelm the students who literally face danger almost everyday.”
“Don’t worry too much about-“
You look back to the door confused. Your quirk was going nuts telling you that someone was close by.
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing, I might still be a little off since getting back. I’ll see you again in a week.” You nod with a bow.
Just as you pull your cloak over your head you pause.
“How’s he been?” You whisper.
“He’s doing okay.”
“That’s good to hear.”
Just as you leave the room fixing your mouth piece over you squeak, thankful that you hadn’t pressed the power switch on your mask. Yagi Toshinori was standing right outside the door, quickly casting your eyes down and brushing past him.
“Radar.”
Ignoring the sound of your hero name you kept walking.
“Kasumi, wait.”
You stop. Damnit. Wiping the tears on your glove you try to compose yourself before turning to the tall man and flashing the best fake smile you can manage.
“Hi, how have you been Yagi?”
“I could have been better, just busy with work. How have you been? You have a daughter right?” He adds.
You feel your heart stop. “Who told you?”
He seemed taken aback. “What?”
“Who told you I had a daughter? I’m sure I’ve done my best to keep her life as private as possible. Even her birth was hidden so how did you know?” You narrow your eyes.
You had managed to keep your personal life and hero life separate and you wanted to keep it that way. Since the last time the two mixed you ended up with a child and the father of said child didn’t know who she was.
“Your brother told me.”
“Hizashi? I have half a mind to beat him up, anyway she’s fine. As much of a handful as a ten year old can be,” you look toward the window.
“So you got married?”
“No. Never got married.” You roll your eyes and consider it. “She’s yours.”
He seemed to miss what you said. “Glad to know you're doing well.”
“I gotta go.” You manage before turning away. “I hope you have a wonderful day Yagi.”
With spring you were leaving Hizuru to school and you were starting teaching. Obviously you didn’t have much to do but it was a lot when spread out across the grades.
“Miss Radar, how is drawing still life gonna help us?” Someone asks.
“Have you ever wondered how others stay calm? They have more than one thing that they can relate to keep them calm.” You catch the incoming pencil. “Imagine you’re constantly working, always going on patrol, staying in the office and barely going home. You’re doing your job but you can’t function at peak performance without the proper rest. Everyone has to find that one thing that calms them down from the adrenaline of battle or you’ll tire quicker, and get reckless. Then your friend will be saying goodbye to you before your true time because you worked yourself to the very last drop of blood.”
“Is that what really happened to your-“
You hand the pencil back to Bakugou. “I guess still life is a bit boring, how about we try a different exercise next time? I’ll have to ask the other teachers but next you’ll be drawing from life.”
As they put their things away and you get ready for your next class you notice your phone ringing. Picking it up, you answer a bit confused.
“Hello?”
«Is this the mother of Yamada Hizuru?»
“Yes, this is Yamada Kasumi.” You look out the window.
«Today there was an incident, there was an intruder in the school and Hizuru took it into her own hands. Everything’s fine but she was hurt.»
Your breath caught in your throat. “I’ll be there momentarily.”
«of course.»
Ending the call you pocket your phone. The tears were already clouding your vision. Strings of curses left your mouth as you try to figure out what to do.
“Miss Yamada?”
Wiping your face quickly you compose yourself. “Ah, I didn’t think I’d get hero course after hero course. Please grab your materials and begin, I need to step out for a moment.”
Leaving the room you were thankful that you ran into your little brother.
“Woah, sis what’s wrong?”
“Hizuru got hurt. I was so stupid, I shouldn’t have, I shouldn't have taught her how to protect herself, what am I gonna do Hizashi?” You almost broke.
“I can mind your classes. Go let Nezu know.”
You give a firm nod trying to get there without breaking again. Nezu scolded you for wasting time and let you leave. Practically sprinting out of the school to get to your daughters school.
“Mom!”
She was sitting on the back of an ambulance. Her smile widens as she jumps down to run to you. Bandages around her head and arm.
“Hizuru?” You felt your stomach twist. This was all your fault.
“Mom I know you told me not to mind my quirk at school but I couldn’t just let someone else get hurt,” she grabs your hand, her smaller hand shaking trembling even.
You pull her into a hug as you sob into her hair. “Baby please don’t scare me like that, please.”
Like a rubber band snapping she was brought back to reality, you felt her tears first, then it was the crying.
“Mommy I was so scared.” She sobs as her arms wrap tightly around your frame.
Brushing her hair with your fingers, you pick her up into our arms. Trying to keep yourself calm as she cries. Ten minutes of crying and she was asleep.
“You have a strong girl, I thought she would have started crying sooner.” One of the policemen sighs.
You smile as you hold her. “We faced quite a few incidents back in America.”
“I’m sorry to hear that. We’ll be doing better to make sure this incident doesn’t repeat itself.” He bows.
“Thank you.”
“Miss Yamada, please let her rest tomorrow. Coming to school again might be a little stressful.” The teacher frowns.
You give a nod. “Of course. Thank you again, I’ll be taking her home.”
With her backpack you carried her home. You called Nezu and Hizashi to let them know that she was okay. They suggested you stay home. You felt bad for doing so but sent your plans for the next day to your brother.
The next day at school an announcement was made. Aizawa held the paper as he read over it his own heart ached. “Yesterday an intruder got into an elementary school, a student defended her class and the intruder was apprehended. Due to this incident we ask that everyone be careful on their way to and from school.”
“Aizawa Sensei, why are we hearing about this?” Ashido asks.
He looks at the pink haired girl before thinking. “Principal Nezu felt this was important information to share. You are all still children without hero licenses.”
All might was worried. All the teachers knew that you had taken a sick day to care for your daughter, which meant the two of you were recuperating at home.
“Hizashi, do you think she ate properly?” Midnight asks.
“Yes, since she’s had Hizuru, Kasumi remembers to eat now. You should have seen when she was pregnant she kept forgetting meals. She said she’ll be here tomorrow, but she has to pick up Hizuru from school.”
“Does that mean she did all that work for nothing?”
“I hope not. Sis practically bled herself dry to make sure the news kept their nose out of her personal life.”
“How old is she?” All might asks.
“Hizuru just turned ten. Kasumi complains that she takes after her dad too much. But I think Hizuru is the spitting image of my sister,” Hizashi shows the male the picture.
It was weird. All might wasn’t sure why but he saw a bit of his physical image in the young girl. The picture was one from this morning because he recognized the three stars tattooed on your arm.
“Kid hasn’t even lost all her baby teeth and she’s protecting others from danger.”
“You should have seen the situations Sis got in because of her quirk. Hizuru’s is just as powerful if not more. Kid said she can see when someone is intending to hurt someone.” Hizashi puts his phone away. “How long has it been since you actually talked to my sister?”
Yagi looks away. “We had a brief conversation when Nezu hired her, but not a true conversation since before she had her daughter.”
Hizashi sighs. “Look my sister isn’t exactly the straight forward type but you two need to talk.”
“I see what you mean.”
Midnight had little idea what the two men were talking about but it seemed important.
When you came to school the next day you felt less worried but you didn’t know what to do to calm your nerves.
It was the support course today, you had been looking forward to teaching the general course but it couldn’t be helped.
“Do we really have to?”
“I’d say no, but I am curious to see what you guys will make that would only be for display.” You respond.
“Sensei, why weren’t you here yesterday?”
“Family emergency.”
“Oh.”
It was no secret to anyone at Yuuei that every single instructor is or was a pro hero. You were no exception. Though you didn’t wear your hero costume you really only needed your belt if you needed to do anything. Plus your mask.
After the USJ incident you were petrified for those students. The entire day your alarms were blaring off the charts. So you were glad it wasn’t a false alarm.
“Radar, are you okay?” Aizawa asks as you get up from the desk.
“Yeah, just a little tired.” You mumble.
“Why don’t you…”
You shake your head. “I need to see what schools Hizuru wants to go to. She’s been studying for exams and I’m curious how she’s gonna use her quirk. Hopefully it’s not gonna cause a repeat.”
He looks at you and frowns. “How did she learn how to do that?”
“I taught her, while we were in America a lot happened. Someone tried to take her,” you admit. “I couldn’t do much without the possibility of her getting hurt. Lucky someone was able to help me.”
“So you taught her for your peace of mind?”
You nod. “My baby is all I have left outside of my family. But I’m sure my parents don’t want to deal with me if something happens to her.”
“Kasumi don’t say that.”
“It’s true, Shota, thank you for being friends with Hizashi.” You smile, grabbing the pile of papers.
In your classroom you checked that you had the right item. Pulling the extra large canvases out you smile. The floor and walls were properly covered and the paints were ready.
“Hello Yamada Sensei.” “What are we doing?” “Woah those are huge.” “I dunno how this will play out.”
You smirk. “Okay. So I know what I promised but I thought this would be a better alternative. We have several students here who are very particular about how they do things. That’s fine, but we’re gonna throw that out the window.”
You roll your sleeves back and dip your hand in the yellow paint.
Slapping it on the canvas you kept separate, you smile. “I wanna see how chaotic you guys can be, while still making art. There’s twenty of you, and five canvases. Divide into groups of four and go plus ultra.”
They seemed confused. But they all quickly took off their blazers and rolled up their sleeves. It wasn’t long before paint was flying and splattered all over the place. You smile at the chaos.
“Woah what’s going on here?”
“Oh I didn’t realize class was over. Please go wash your hands and go to your class. I’ll take the blame for you being late. Class 1B we’ll have a similar exercise. I just need a moment to get things ready.” You chuckle scrambling around. “Class A, that paint is washable and doesn’t stain.”
Placing the canvases aside to dry you chuckle. “Class B if I could have you divide into five groups of four please, and if someone could refill the paints?”
“Right Sensei.”
The exercise was equally chaotic and just as fun with class B. You were relieved that you had an easier time cleaning.
As you were leaving a hand caught your shoulder. “You have red paint in your hair, Yamada.”
You look for a second running a careful hand through the short locks. “I do. It must have been Bakugo. It’ll wash out.”
“What did you do? The hero course students were more energetic.” Yagi asks, confused.
“We let out some chaos, hopefully this gave them a moment to explode without fear of injury.”
“Kasumi, next time could you keep it more controlled?”
You smile at the male. “Shota, chaos has no reins, you cannot control it. Sometimes it can be reeled in but never controlled. Hence I have no qualms with the fact that Midoriya got a huge hand of green paint in Bakugo’s hair.”
You could hear your brother rolling over with laughter. “Midoriya did that?”
“I think it was a group effort between him and Uraraka. Anyway I gotta go,” you grab your things. “Hizuru said she misses you.”
“My favorite niece misses me? I should visit her soon then. Her birthday is coming up, right?”
“Her birthday is in two weeks.”
Hizashi grins. “I get to spoil the baby.”
“Try not to go crazy.”
You stopped by the bathroom to wash out the paint from your hair. Once clean and sure there wasn’t a mark you left to pick up Hizuru. She was just excited at the idea that she was doing things. Her wound healed nicely because Recovery girl came to visit her.
But due to an overlooked timing Hizuru had a day off of school and you couldn’t leave her at home, no one could watch her because she didn’t trust anyone else. Nezu let you bring her.
“Uncle Hizashi, Uncle Shota!” She springs up to hug the men. Her excitement wasn’t shared but nonetheless they greeted her.
“You gotta stay at your mom’s desk okay?” Hizashi reminds her.
“But I wanted to-“
“She is my extra hand during the class 3 A and B classes. It’s fine. I thought since the chaos exercise was well received that the older kids might like it too.” You chuckle. “But I borrowed some stuff.”
“By borrowed-“
“Borrowed. I can clean up and return items, stop thinking about it too much, come on Hizuru.”
“Uncle, guess what? Momma made me a special lunch, and I get to pick what's for dinner.”
“Really? Doesn’t Kasumi usually make everything?”
“Mhmm, but lately momma keeps getting so sleepy that she can’t even get up for our run.”
“Hizuru, stop. Hizashi doesn’t wanna know about all that.”
He looks at you and then at your daughter. “What do you mean?”
“Well, momma still sits in the living room crying about daddy. I wonder if they can be friends again, because I don’t like when momma cries.” Hizuru states.
You rub at your temple. “Hizuru, stay with your uncle until I come back.”
“Okay.”
You go to prepare your tools. Hizuru looks at your brother and smiles.
“Uncle, does mom like working?”
“You know she does. What’s this about her crying?” Hizashi frowns.
“Well, I noticed it since we came here. Sometimes she’ll stay in the living room and I hear her crying. She did that a lot when I was little,” she explains. “Do you think she misses my dad?”
“Of course, but it’s a bit more complicated than that. Next time you see her crying, call me okay?”
Hizuru looks at her uncle. “Okay. I’ll do that.”
“Speaking of what do you want for your birthday?”
“Hmm, maybe a dog. One that can protect us, someone keeps knocking on the door and bothering mom.”
“What?”
You frown. “Hizuru!”
She looks down.
“Kasumi?”
“It’s fine I can handle myself. I always forget that living alone culture is different everywhere,” you sigh, patting your daughter. “Hizuru I didn’t mean to shout.”
“I know, I’m sorry mom.”
“Let’s go.”
It wasn’t long before her birthday came around. That single day of her coming to the school left a laying impression that you received many presents for her from the third years and teachers. Yagi even bought some things. Hizuru was more than happy to receive all the gifts.
You didn’t expect it to lead to— “You guys want to come to our apartment?”
“Just to check.” Hizashi frowns.
You sigh. “Fine if it’ll make you relax you can come over. I’ll make dinner or something.”
“Good.” Shota sighs.
“When exactly do you want to come over?” You ask, checking your phone you frown. “Hizashi, did mom and dad message you recently?”
“No, what’s wrong?” He looks at your phone and all the energy drains.
“I need to go, I swear they’re the worst.” You feel the anger bubbling up.
But before you can continue a mask is placed over your mouth. No sound escapes the mask and you glare. Misdirected anger isn’t usually your forte but it was something that had to do with your daughter.
Grabbing the cloth you pull it between your fingers before feeling what should have been a growl but was silent.
“Kasumi, calm down. Tell us what happened.” Aizawa sighs unfazed.
Taking a few deep breaths you try to think as Hizashi takes away the mask. You had a quirk similar to his, but it wasn’t as powerful.
“Mom went behind my back and took Hizuru to their house, she’s claiming that I can’t take proper care of her,” you manage. “She’s so stuck in her ways. I’m so glad I didn’t stay in Japan when I found out I was pregnant.”
“Don’t worry, mom won’t do anything you know that. She’s gotten… you know I think we should go pick her up after school.” Hizashi admits.
“Thank you.” You sigh. “I know it might seem extreme, but I can’t let mom-“
“Kasumi I know, just finish the day and we can go pick her up together.”
You and Hizashi have different dads. The voice quirk was from your mother, and your detection quirk was from your father. But Hizashi only had your moms quirk. She often made you completely dependent on her when Hizashi decided to be a hero. So you did the same in an unconventional way.
“Yamada Sensei? You’re drinking paint water…” Hatsume states pointing to the glass in your hand.
“Please excuse me, I don’t know where my mind is,” you sigh before leaving the classroom. “I’ll be right back.”
Good job. You make your way back but the paint residue has stained your face. Groaning you make your way back to the classroom, going through the closet you put the mask on and continue teaching.
By the end of the day you wanted nothing more than to sleep. But the thought of seeing Hizuru made you happier. First you stopped by the school and told them if anyone came for Hizuru that wasn’t you or Hizashi was not allowed to take her. Then Hizashi drove you to your moms house.
“Hizuru we’re going home.” You state crossing your arms.
“Momma! How come I’ve never met grandma?”
“Because my mom tried to sell me off so she could have money. When I told her I was gonna have you she kicked me out.” You state brushing her hair with your hand.
She pouts. “No wonder my senses were going off like crazy.”
“She has the same— Why didn’t you tell me that?”
“You never asked. Tell Dad I said hi,” you picked up Hizuru and went home.
Much to your relief everything went fine before the planned day of company coming over. Nemuri, Shota, Hizashi, and Yagi were coming by your apartment for dinner and to see how safe your apartment was. The addition of Yagi was a surprise to you. You almost expected him to bail.
“Hello,” he towered over you like the tall man he was.
“Come in, I was just finishing the food prep. You don’t mind that I’m making dumplings right?” You ask, though you felt like a flurry of emotions were spiraling around you.
“Mom who’s…” Hizuru looks at her father as you dry your hands on the apron.
“You remember Yagi, he’s a dear friend of mine.” You state gesturing to the man.
You couldn’t admit you had just been crying about him two nights before. Grief stricken at the time you lost and the severed connection from a hasty escape.
Hizuru swallows and gives a big smile. “Yes, I remember. Nice to meet you sir.”
“You’re a lot taller than I would imagine a ten year old to be.” He chuckles. “How are you feeling?”
“Fine, we have a signal in class for when my quirk is alerting me of something. And all the teachers are more careful of who comes in and out.” She smiles.
“Go finish what you were doing so we can prepare the rest of the food,” you glance back toward the main part of the apartment. “Yagi come in. Everyone else should be— Hizashi, I can see you.”
“Surprise.” He chuckles holding something.
“You have till the count of five.”
“It’s just a harmless gift.” He laughs pushing the box into your hands.
Hizuru looks at the tired male following after her uncle and grabs his hand. “Uncle Shota look, I built it.”
You could barely contain the chuckle. “Thank you for coming. Nemuri you can come in as well.”
“Here I thought this would be a good gift.” She holds something up and you could barely contain the chuckle.
“I don’t really drink, Just before Hizuru was born I stopped drinking,” you laugh. “But thank you.”
She pouts. “Are you sure?”
“Yeah.”
Closing the door you got ready to finish preparing the food but Hizashi kicked you out of the kitchen. “Let me do it. You’ve probably been buzzing around like a bee all day.”
“Rude, I was just making sure everything was clean.” You mumble.
“It’s a lot bigger than I thought but it’s not secure,” Shota states.
“I know, I need to replace a few things but other than that it’s fine.” You shrug.
Just as you sit on the couch, the bell rings. Hizuru was about to answer the door but you shake your head about to get up. Shota walks to the door, opening it to the man who had been bothering you.
“Oh- I didn’t realize she’d had someone…”
“What do you want?” Shota raises a sleepy brow.
The man seemed to fidget around. “Nothing.”
“Can you stop bothering my mommy?” Hizuru made herself known as you grab her shoulder gently.
“What's going on between me and your mom is between us, kid.”
You narrow your eyes and you pick up the mask sitting on the counter, pulling it on but not turning it on. “Goro, I have a question for you. What do you think happens to people who underestimate someone?”
“Not much.” He shrugs.
You push Shota back away from the door and smile. “No. You lose the game, that's what happens. Please leave me alone before I call the building manager.”
“But I was just-“
“Being polite?” You narrow your eyes. “A lot of people were being polite, half of them were wanted criminals. I'd appreciate it if you left me alone. My brother doesn’t take too kindly to anyone bothering me and I always let my baby brother do what he wants.”
“I’ll go.” He huffs.
“Bye bye.”
Closing and locking the door you sigh. You used this moment to put your mask on properly and scream. It was a quirk suppressor, it rendered your voice useless in combat and you were thankful for it.
Taking off the mask you frown. “Now that that’s solved can we eat?”
You look at your little brother who’s been making food and he nods. Two people were still frazzled from the situation but Hizashi and Shota were used to this. Hizuru has seen watered down and extreme versions of this so she continued on as she did.
“Big sis Nemuri, how did you become a hero?”
“I went to school with your uncle, do you know how your mom became a hero?” She smirks.
“Nemuri that’s not a fun—“
“I wanna know, momma never told me how she became a hero?” Hizuru’s eyes lit up and you groan.
“Go ahead and tell her.”
Hizashi clears his throat. “When your mom was in school she went to a normal public school. So one day she was walking to school and she told one of the staff members to check the front gate, when her school started the gate got locked to keep others out. The teacher checked and the way they locked it was tampered with. At first they suspected your mom.”
Shota rolls his eyes. “A poor move on their part. She dumped her bag and stripped down to her gym uniform in front of the teachers. And she was obviously clean. So when not even fifteen minutes later, she ran into the main office and took the intercom over.”
Hizashi laughs. “Sis was a bit more reckless than she is now. But she states in the com ‘today we will have a mandatory fire drill.’ She didn’t get in trouble because that is a code for the public schools now. Do not leave the classroom, there is an intruder.”
“I know that one, in America we hide in a corner. With the lights off, I always thought it was stupid.” She scoffs.
“I know that all schools have different countermeasures. Sis’s school had teachers find the intruder and arrest him. This wasn’t the turning point. Because one hour later another intruder had entered the school. This time Aneki who’d played softball since she was little was able to detain the intruder. The school couldn’t ignore this.”
You grumble. “It was lucky the bat I used to practice was illegal for in-game use. But it made me realize that if I’m gonna feel this feeling I’m gonna protect people.”
“She ended up studying under one of the old teachers.” Nemuri nods.
“Jiji was cool though,” you shrug.
“Jiji?” Yagi asks, confused.
“Oh, I studied under Grandtorino, it was through his recommendation I was able to get my hero license.” You state. “I wonder how he’s doing.”
“You were sensei’s student?”
“Yeah, did he not tell you about me?” You frown. “Well that is like him, I didn’t make much of an impact. I’m not even all that popular as a pro.”
“I’m sure you’re amazing.”
“Nah, they had me doing undercover everything in America. Honestly it was annoying.”
Hizashi frowns. “What?”
“Yeah it was all undercover, protection jobs. Nothing I really liked but I was glad I came back to Japan.” You shrug. “Hizuru, go get ready for bed you look like you're gonna fall asleep.”
“Okay, good night.”
You were happy that the night went okay. But as everyone was getting ready to leave, Yagi gave you a worried look.
“Did you wanna—“
Everyone else had left and he was just getting ready to leave, or so you’d thought.
“Is she my daughter?”
How would he..? You stop doing the dishes and look at him. “What makes you think that?”
He frowns. “I’m not stupid Kasumi.”
“Toshinori, I didn’t call you stupid.” You frown as well.
“Is Hizuru our daughter?” He asks again.
You run a hand through your hair and sigh. “Yes. Are you happy now? She’s your daughter, our baby. Does it make you happy knowing?”
He takes a slow breath. “Why now? Why didn’t you tell me when you found out?”
“Because I was leaving Japan. On top of that you fucking disappeared do you know how confused I was? Suddenly I was pregnant, I couldn’t find the father and I’m in a new country.” You explain. “It wasn’t easy, but everything was fine. I never told you because when I was walking out of Nezu’s office it was the first time I’d seen you.”
He groans. “Ten years?”
“Yes, ten years, she had your hair. Your smile, and your personality. She, like us, can’t sit by and watch.” You add. “I didn’t tell you because I didn’t know where you were. I know you’re a pro hero but I don’t know which one. To top it off you didn’t want a relationship, you made that very clear before I left.”
“Kasumi just—“
“No, listen I may have been wrong keeping Hizuru away from you but you didn’t want a family in the first place,” you state.
“You’re right, but that’s just it. I was wrong too, I shouldn’t have pushed you away but I did. Maybe you were right to keep her away from me,” he groans.
“Momma, I need help with…” she watches the man from behind you. You gently wave her over.
“Hizuru, you can say hello properly now.” You sigh.
Her eyes light up and she hugs him with all her might. “Hi daddy, I’ve wanted to talk to you this whole time. Momma always told me about how great of a hero you were and that you’re really strong.”
I honestly forgot where I was going with this. I didn't understand Tokoyami's character when I first wrote this. I have a better grasp of him now but idk

Today was a day anticipated by many. Although the number one hero school, UA, had changed from a normal high school to a boarding school, Principal Nezu had left the gates open for the public. One of the hero support students was waiting by the gates his goggles pushed his hair back as he tapped his foot in anticipation for his little sister. When a small head of blue hair appeared in his line of vision he sighs.
“Tamami, what happened?”
“I got the streets confused, I’m sorry Haru-nii,” apologizes the young girl.
Her hair was indeed a mess and she was clutching on to her bag.
“Well, come on then. Hekiomi told me that he’s gonna stop by to lead you around for a little bit,” answers the boy.
Haru Fukioki, a support course student in his first year. The girl was his little sister Tamami Fukioki, a third-year middle school student, she didn’t have any aspirations like her older brother’s and supported them in their endeavors to be the best. Both of them sporting curly pale blue hair that was rather easy to spot.
“Try not to get separated from me, we might be looking for you all day,” Haru explains as he starts leading his sister.
She kept an eye for his hair and nodded to his warning.
Before getting too far her shoe slips off, picking it up again she takes a slow sweep of the area. No blue hair.
“Haru?”
Her eyes went wide as things started to blur, not sure what’s going on at this point. Tamami was usually a calm girl, but when faced with a new environment she would often get anxious especially when alone. Not registering around her, her quirk activated in its usual way. She wasn’t aware that it activated under high-stress moments like these but as the ground got closer and everything else got bigger tears filled her eyes.
A drawback was she could only remember one thing. The last thing on her mind was “where is Haru -nii?”
She took careful steps to keep from running into anyone. Not getting very far she runs into someone.
“Are you lost?” Asks the male towering over the now little girl asks, he had the face of a bird and a small shadow attached to him.
The shadow moves toward the little girl to calm her down. Tamami for some reason felt a little bit better but was still nervous.
“Shadow,” she smiles.
Realizing that the girl was a bit calmer he asks again. “Are you lost?”
Tamami nods.
“Do you know where your parents are?”
A shake of the head.
The shadow seems to wrap around away from Tamami and she follows him a bit clinging on to the boy when a voice calls to him.
“Tokoyami, what are you doing over here?” A girl with bright pink hair and skin asks holding a box in hand.
“I found this little girl crying, she calmed down when Dark shadow got close to her,” he explains as he glances at the little girl clutching to his pant leg.
She nods. “We could take her to the lost kids' tent.”
Tamami looks at the girl then back to Tokoyami.
“Whoever she came with shouldn’t be too far,” Tokoyami picks up the young girl.
“Mami wants to find Haru-nii,” smiles the girl.
Walking to the lost child tent was an adventure dodging people and keeping Tamami in his arms. Tokoyami finally got to the tent and informed the announcer.
“Oh, does she have a tag on her bag?” They ask.
Tamami pulls a small tag and they read over it.
“Oh, she’s Fukioki’s sister. I can call him, he always worried about her,” nods the third year.
Tokoyami attempts to leave her at the tent, but the wailing begins.
“No, leave,” Tamami demands through the tears.
Dark shadow pulls around and starts to calm her down again and Tokoyami takes a seat to wait for the older Fukioki to appear.
Ten minutes later and a very angry blue-haired boy looks at the little girl who starts to cry again.
“Mami, what did we tell you about getting lost?” Hisses the older male.
“I’m. I sorry Heki-nii,” cries the little girl.
Without a thought, he picks up the sobbing girl. “Sorry about her. Tamami’s quirk is very hard to deal with and she often doesn’t realize that she activates it.”
“No problem to me, I don’t have much to do right now so looking after here was fine. What is her quirk if I may ask?” Tokoyami states as he stands up.
“She calls it age, she’ll regress in age when overwhelmed and grown in age when she feels angry,” Hekiomi explains. “She might have an apology for you later, she remembers everything when she goes back to her normal age.”
“It’s no problem, I have to go,” Tokoyami gets up and leaves.
The two Fukioki’s make their way to the third-year class.
“Hey, Heki? What happened to your sister?” One of his classmates asks.
Shaking his head as he replies. “She must have embarrassed herself when her quirk activated.”
Sitting in the corner with a grim look on her face Tamami looks like she may wither away with just a gust of wind.
“I hate my quirk,” she mumbles.
“Mami, Haru is here,” calls the older brother.
Tamami looks to her older brother and before she can react, he smacks her.
“I told you not to get lost, I’m so glad that Heki found you,” he sighs as he hugs the shocked girl.
The older brother shakes his head. “One of the 1A kids found her. Tokoyami I think his name is.”
The girl seems to shake herself of the funk. “I threw a tantrum cause he tried to walk away from me. I cried.”
“How old were you?” Haru asks.
“I was three,” she answers defeated.
“That’s a lot smaller than usual. It’s always a few years younger,” Heki frowns.
She digs her hands through her hair. “I’m sorry.”
“Aht, no crying, come on,” Haru ushers his sister away from the third year classes.
The rest of the day was better, and Tamami walked home on her own. She didn’t live far from UA high school. This was an accommodation the school made since the Fukioki siblings had no other living relatives. This meant that Tamami had to change schools, and Hekiomi quit his part-time jobs. To keep from hurting her too much, on weekends when they could spare time the Fukioki brothers would stay with their little sister.
“Haru, could you give this to that boy in 1A,” she requests.
thats it... um I wrote this before really reading any fics on him or getting information. He was just a tired ball and I liked

“Izumi! Where is Milk?” I groan peeking from around the cat rooms.
“Should be in the room.”
“He’s not here, that’s why I’m asking!”
Just as I round the corner, I notice someone at the door. Quickly walking down, the stairs, I open the door after the knocking starts.
“Hello, how can I help you?”
The man standing there is caked in soot and holding a bundle. Trying for air.
“Is this the pet shelter?” His voice is low, and I almost jump at the sound.
“Yes, Nekoma shelter,” nodding my head I open the door a little bit more.
He’s gentle about placing the bundle in my arms. I look to it and back up at him, as the soft sound enters my head ‘warm.’ Peeking into the blanket I notice the mewing kittens.
“Thank you, is there a fire close by?”
“Yes,” he nods before turning to look behind him. “Everything is settled over there.”
Peeking out the door I gasp. “That’s way too close to the house. I gotta tell my parents. Um thank you for bringing them here, would you like some water or are you still busy?”
“No, I don’t want to be a bother,” he shakes his head.
“Miyu, have you found Milk?” Peeking from the doorway I notice my brother.
“Izumi, can you get some water for this gentleman, he brought us some kittens and a cat from the fire a few houses away. I need to call mom and tell her about the situation,” I hold the bundle still while turning around.
“Um... sure,” Izumi disappears, and I look to the basket we keep by the door.
Gently I place the bundle in the basket. With my hands free I pick up the phone and call my mom.
~Miyu, what’s wrong?
“There’s a fire nearby, one of the heroes just brought over a bundle of kittens. I wanted to tell you first.”
~Alright, I’ll be at the house in an hour.
“See you then mom.”
Putting the phone on the cradle and notice the man looking for a moment. He had a cup of water in hand.
“You can drink the water, I’ll just go clean the kittens,” I manage picking up the basket and turning around.
I hear the noises from the cats and I nod. Walking to the counter space nearby I pull a basket and towel from under the counter. Gently wetting a cloth I wipe down the first kitten and keep them in the basket.
Mom didn’t seem to like that so she hisses. ‘No’
“Hey, I’m not hurting, you guys need to be cleaned. I’m gonna take you someplace warm and with food,” I start as I wipe her down too.
‘Warm?’
“Yes, warm not hot.” I nod.
All the cats were wiped down, all of them looked to be doing alright. I hope mom gets back to look them over. Looking back, I notice the hero looking at me.
“Sis, I can’t find Ginger,” he frowns.
“What?”
Looking at the basket I frown. “Mom won’t be here for an hour, and the twins will be back soon.”
“I’ll make the food for the mom and kittens.” He offers.
“Fine, I’ll place them in room six.”
“Why not room one?”
“Blueberry just gave birth remember?”
I look at the man I smile at him. “Thank you again. Sorry if we bothered you.”
“No it’s fine, you have a good day.”
My mom tends to the kittens and gives them a checkup. I clean the entryway and try to find my cats. Milk and Ginger were my cats and since they were so social that we let them stay with the other cats. A few days later I pace the whole block a few times. One of the twins found an opening where the two like to go. To prevent other escapes, it was fixed and I started looking outside.
Squatting down I try not to cry as I hold the fliers. But the familiar burn of tears starts. Standing back up quickly I wipe my face and slam right into someone.
“I’m sorry.” I manage through my tears.
“Woah I’m fine what happened?”
The man looked tired and his voice didn’t have much inflection when he spoke. “My cats got loose. It was a few days ago when a hero came in with a cat and her kittens. They are spoiled brats and wouldn’t last long out here.”
Just thinking about it made me cry more. I didn’t hear their voices when I walked around and I could only assume the worst.
“Hey, look at me,” he forces me to face him.
“Take a slow breath in with me okay?” He takes a breath and I copy his actions.
‘She seems really worried. I should have left sooner so she could have found the cats.’
I blink and pull away gently. “Sorry I need to.”
“Oi! Miyu, your fucking cats got into my house again.” A brash voice cuts in and I turn to Katsuki with a surprised look.
“What?” In a carrier is indeed my cats. “You two are in so much trouble you know that?!”
‘But-‘
“I don’t wanna hear it, I swear we take our eyes off you for one moment and you just vanish.” I frown.
‘It was warm outside.’
“I just bought you both heated mats. And that was the coldest place in the house so don’t give me that.”
“Miyu!”
I pause and take the carrier. “I’m so sorry you had to see that display. I’ll just be going then.”
“Stop, what was their excuse?” Katsuki asks.
“Something about it being warm.” I frown.
“Wait what just happened?” The man asks.
I get a better look at him and pull him closer. “Fine my left foot, you got a bruise forming faster that Kacchan can get angry.”
Without a second thought I drag both men into the house. Putting a cold compress on the purple haired male and taking the carrier from Katsuki.
“Don’t yell at me in your head. Use you’re big boy words Kacchan,” I glare.
“Why the hell are you using your quirk?”
“I’m not trying to, my inhibitor hasn’t been working lately I need to get a new one most likely.”
“What is your quirk?”
“It’s reading thought, animal and human alike. And don’t you two try to cry to Ikumi he’s just as mad as I am at you both.”
“Do you understand—“
“My cats? Yeah. I can understand all the cats and the dogs that come by. Also that cat you brought the other day is doing much better if you want to see her?”
“How did you?”
“Kacchan and Izuchi help fund our operations. When accidents happen, animals are often displaced. Although I’m not gonna lie they get mad when I rush in without authorization because my quirk constantly goes past the limiters.”
“Wow.”
“Keep an eye on your cats,”
“Thank you for bringing my children home Kacchan.” I give him a hug as he gets ready to leave.
Sitting down I look at the other man. “Sorry I just kind of told you that I know you’re a hero.”
“It’s fine. Are you okay?”
I frown. “I just slammed into you and headbutt you I’m more worried about you.”
“I’m doing okay?”
“Also, my name is Nekoma Miyu. But Miyu is fine if you’re familiar with Kacchan.”
“I wouldn’t say we’re familiar.”
“Well then if you’re close with Izuchi that works too. I know that Kacchan is kind of like a hedgehog.”
“Are you you know?”
“Nope, I’m like his big sister. That’s the best way I can put it.”
Taking the compress away I look at his forehead and frown. But stepping back I hold my hand to his.
“I think it’ll be easier this way. I’m still worried.” He takes it and I lead him to the quarantine rooms.
Looking over the doors I get to the sixth one and slowly open it. Sitting by the door I smile at the kittens just looking around.
“Don’t even think about it, remember the last time you did that?” I huff.
