" If you look like this, I'd hate to see the other guy."
“The other guy is fucked up, I can tell ya that much.” Taako said, panting a bit.

Shield

Polly growled slightly, her grip on her Greatsword tight as she and Kattie stood in front of Melody and Blanca. She should have sensed these bandits, it was in her “bag of tricks” as a Paladin! The two looked back to check on the others, Blanca had been tending to Melody since one of the bandits had fired an arrow at Melody when she tried to greet them. What kind of assholes attack a group of kids!? That’s when there was a flash of bright red from the corner of Polly’s mismatched eyes. Turning back towards the bandits, instead, she saw an Elf standing between the bandits, and them. She lowered her sword slightly, tilting her head and giving a small noise of confusion.
Kattie had known the bandits were following them. Perks of a rouge, one knew where to look in case of an ambush. Weather they were ones to do the ambush, or weather they would be the victims. But she didn’t speak up since she didn’t think they would attack a bunch of kids. Of course, she had to be proven wrong, as they suddenly appeared in front of them. They hadn’t even said a word when Melody stepped forward to greet them. Must have been newbies, as one of them quickly shot at the bard, causing the rest of them to go go into battle mode. Kattie quickly brandished her daggers as Polly drew her Greatsword. Hopefully the bandits would back down at the sight of a young girl carrying around a sword her size. They didn’t though. She glanced back with Polly to check on Blanca and Melody. Very quickly though, she saw movement out the corner of her eye. Turning to see it, was an Elvin women standing there, her back towards them.
Blanca had been nervous when the bandits suddenly stepped in their path. There could have been a number of reasons for them to have done so. Tieflings weren’t exactly liked in these parts, and who knew what their stances on Cat Folks were. She reached a hand out to stop Melody when she tried to greet them, but screamed and reared back when she was shot. As the half-elf fell to the ground, Blanca rushed to her side and started casting Cure Wounds. She was too preoccupied to notice the women until Melody tapped her on the shoulder to point her out.
Melody, as she usually was, was friendly towards the pair of bandits that stepped out in front of their group, and took a step to greet them, when she felt something slice into her side, a bolt from the crossbow one of them held. The young bard let out a yelp of pain, barely hearing the cleric’s scream as she fell to the ground, gripping her side as she whimpered. She was sat up by Blanca as she felt a warmth over her wound, and the slash closing up. Opening her eyes, golden orbs saw an Elf standing in front of them. She tapped on Blanca’s shoulder once the spell ended and pointed to her, almost in disbelief. It wasn’t very often when someone came to their aid. Usually Polly and Kattie could handle anything thrown at them.
So hey, this might be a long shot, but I actually have a couple of tiefling friends that might be able to help you out. I doubt they'd be able to take him in themselves, but they might know some who could...or at less give you some pointers on how to take care of the kid.
You’re serious? I don’t know any tieflings personally, could you put me in contact with them?

“Hey! Sass! Check this out!”
Taako was in a tree, for some unknown reason. Probably would never be known. But Taako readies himself, suddenly leaping out of the tree. Its pretty clear he’s going for a sick flip.
Except he rolls a two.
Taako lands pretty rough, mostly his back and shoulder taking the blow. He’s not gonna lie, it hurts pretty god damned bad, and thats mostly because, upon inspection, his shoulders straight fucked off out of its socket. “Uhhhhhh-” his voice is a bit panicked. “Bad fall! Mayday!”
“Do not have me turn around see you eating my cookie batter”
“Mm-mph…” Comes the response from around the spoon handle she’d stuck in her mouth after….possibly stealing a bit of batter, while she poked lightly at the pinkish meringue she’d been working on before using a shimmery purple mage hand to spoon it into the piping bag.
Her ears twitched as she turned on the chair she was standing on to reach the counter as she took out the spoon as shifted position to watch the elf. “Would I do such a thing? Me? I’m so insulted.”
As though she hadn’t just done so. One hand reached over to check the piping bag before she waved away the mage hand. It swatted at her hand before dispelling once she had the bag in hand. “Tastes good, though.”
Yeah, no regrets there.
⏳
For every “⏳” I receive, my muse will openly talk about a bit of their backstory.
I’m going with Freek for this since you were unspecific lol <3

“Hhmm.. something openly about my past huh?…. Well the reason I don’t have two eye holes in this mask is because my father attacked me with a fork after dinner one night. My left eye is normal and human like but my right was a lot like an alligator’s. He absolutely hated it.” Freek pauses to scratch the side of his neck, thinking back on his childhood with a short, tense sigh. “In general, he hate me. But I guess making eye contact so many times with something you despised was a bit too much for him. Gouged the sucker right out then and there….. Alright, I’ve told you a piece of the past, now get out of my house.”
