With no where else to turn, the vengeful spirit took to the mindscape in the hopes of finding a suitable host. It manifested in to the purest form Kali’s mind could take, and what a sad mind it was. Nothing but a shifting blob of anger, hatred, it dripped with blood of slaughtered innocents and stank of death, corruption, and madness. The creature puppeteered a mournful grey woman, who - though her voice echoed soft sobs - she had long been dried of her tears. She was lanky and just a bit too thin - bags hanging under her eyes, as though she hadn’t slept in ages, her body almost limp as it was turned to and fro in search of a target.
It didn’t take long, as the monstrous blob was drawn to weakness. It darted forward, carefully dangling the young woman almost like she were some sort of bait to latch on to. As far as this creature was concerned, this buried piece of Kali was no longer of use, once it found a new host. She’d been drained of life and hope long ago, hadn’t she...?
“Hello~? Where are you~?” The blob crooned in a sickeningly sweet tone. “Come out, and let me see you...”
