fic meme! 3, 8, and 16!
3. Do you anticipate writing for a new fandom this year? Which one?
Hmmm. I've debated on finally caving and writing The Raven Cycle fic or finally committing to some of the Voltron fic I've had kicking around now that the fandom has mellowed out. Most of my fic is for the Bungou Stray Dogs fandom (i have a sideblog for 'em @fy-soukoku) and I do think I could branch out. I've recently gotten invested in Chainsaw Man as well, though I don't know if I trust myself to write fic yet. (It'd be a 20k one-shot of akiangel holding hands, of course.)
8. Is there a story idea in your mental vault that you’ve never been brave enough to try writing? Is this the year? Can you tell us about it?
I have a couple. I have a story idea I'm toying with that I haven't attached to a fandom yet, it's more a general prompt. (Percy Jackson ideas, and a fun little miscommunication story.
For BSD, I'm definitely writing a fic that explores what would have happened if Yosano had stayed with the mafia. Specifically, if she had continued working with Mori, and been partnered with Chuuya instead of Dazai - basically Double Black. I mean, "Angel of Death" that would be a terrifying name to throw about. I've got a few chapters written I've been sitting on.
16. Do you have that one fanfic that you wrote a ton for, ages ago, but never posted? Will this be the year, come hell or high water, that it WILL get finished and posted?
About three Bungou Stray Dogs fic I've been "editing" (staring at blankly) for a year now. Including aforementioned Yosano fic. Actually two of them are Yosano fic. Sue me.
I had, very briefly, a multi-chapter fic meant to be a Hange backstory, but at this point I've fallen wayyyyyy behind on AOT. Maybe if I catch up this year, I'll post it heh.
