The best place, in my opinion, to start would be by reading. Read everything you can get your hands on and discover what pieces you like. Are you a wiccan, or a witch, or a druid or do you have an affinitity for fairies? Do you believe in one god, or several? Do you want to use witchcraft for worship or get things done? What you want will determine what you need. After you read up on things, learn about how you can get there. Will tarot or other divination help you out, or maybe herbs or spells? That would be my best suggestion. If you have more questions, feel free to ask!!

This may be a weird question, I consider myself to be a witch, but I'm extremely allergic to almost every plant and tree (except bermuda grass) which makes it impossible for me to do any of the rituals involving earth and outside. What I was wondering is if there is any form of witchcraft I can be a part of that doesn't rely so heavily on earth or am I out of luck?

Absolutely not! There are many parts to being a witch and most of it is simply attuning with things around you. You don't have to use plants and trees and such to make potions or poultices or charms. You can use stones, tarot, pendulums, crystals, feathers, seeds, etc. BE CREATIVE. There is a whole world out there and you are in no way limited to just plants. I hope this helps!

  Waxing Half-Moon:

"the waxing half moon is special in that you can perform magick during this time if you are engaged in a situation that is teetering on the edge of two resolutions and you want the result to turn out in your favor or in some positive fashion. For example if you wanted to do a spell for the success of a surgery in which the doctor predicts the patient has a 50-50 chance of survival, you could do the spell on the half waxing moon to ensure that the situation will have a favorable outcome."

Waning Half-Moon:

  "However, the waning half moon is special in that you can perform magick during this time if you are engaged in a situation that is teetering on the edge of two resolutions and you want the result to turn out in your favor or in some decreasing fashion. For example if you wanted to do a spell to keep yourself from being audited (in essence decreasing the problem) and you thought that you have about a 50-50 chance of this happening, then you could do the spell on the half waning moon to ensure that the threat of an audit will diminish and eventually disappear."

I would suggest a saltwater bath, perhaps with rosewater or chamomile! The saltwater cleanses and the other two soothe. Hope this helps. Blessed be!

I would suggest Mint, sage, garlic, garlic cloves, aloe, lavender, thyme. Hopefully these help!
