Five times kissed
FirstThe first time they kissed, it was almost like they were daring each other. They kissed hard, gripping each other tightly, pulling each other closer. There were no full confessions, no falling over each other. It was all about want and need.
SecondThey kissed slowly, admitting to each other that there was something here. They kissed after weeks apart, business ventures on Mouse’s part keeping them away from their weekly meetings. It was softer, gentler, a quieter kiss than the first. It was a kiss of admission, that they don’t like to be apart, and that they do like to keep their time together.
ThirdThey kissed desperately, after Hatter stumbled back to his teashop looking battleworn and exhausted. Mouse was there, pacing his living room, looking terrified. It took some time to patch up his wounds, and then they kissed, reassuring each other that they were alive and together, and nothing serious had happened.
FourthThey kissed eagerly, wrapped up in each other’s arms. As much as Hatter teased him, Mouse insisted that he came out on top as they fumbled their way into bed, falling on top of the covers and losing themselves in each other.
FifthThey kissed gently, cuddling each other close. Curled up on the beach, taking the vacation they both desired, they relaxed easier than they had in quite some time. It was all quiet kissing, gentle touches. Savoring the one moment of silent and tranquility that they might have in quite a while.
