“Back, back, back!” Shen Yuan hissed again at the prowling figures inching forwards. He pressed the side of his body closer against the man’s boots, as he berated them, “Why do you all like him so much?! He’s a bad man! A no-good man!” His warning calls of ‘hisssmrowowowowrrrr’ earned him nothing of value but a few more inquisitive looks from the mortals and low-level cultivators walking past, and absolutely no consideration from the very street cats he was trying to persuade. Growing a little more desperate, Shen Yuan’s yowling only increased in volume as he cried, “He looks beautiful on the outside, but he’s vicious on the inside! It’s for your own good! Just leave him to me!”
