Hyper-pop riser MOUSE announces debut EP ANGELS NEVER DIE, shares title-track ‘A.N.D.’

Bristol's Mouse returns with the announcement of her debut EP Angels Never Die, as well as explosive title-track 'A.N.D.' Angels Never Die is out February 26 via Leisure Records.

First single and statement of intent ‘A.N.D.’ sets the tone perfectly, a rallying call set forth on rolling snares, its soaring chorus and glassy synths as inspired by Avenged Sevenfold as it is by PC Music. Despite coming from a moment of darkness, Mouse’s joyous production elevates the track, creating a perfect gateway into Angels Never Die. It also is the perfect showcase for the genre-shredding production found all over the EP, all of which was handled by Mouse, with help from Mun Sing (Giant Swan) and TEEN (Count Baldor).

"I wrote this song when I was feeling the lowest I’d felt in a long time. I opened my lyric book and let my pen lead and these lines fell out like it was what a higher guidance needed me to hear and know," Mouse explained of the track. "This song was so fun to produce. I wanted to create a feeling of unity and calling an army so started with the snare roll sample and built the beat from there. Orchestral music has been hugely important to my musical journey so far and my only goal with my EP was to make something completely authentic to me, without caring about the popularity of particular sounds"
