Fic writer musings alert 🚨
I'm realizing that I write mostly fluff w/ a poetic bent (yes, also with an undercurrent of angst, because I write in Arda; the light and shadow will always tango, that's just JRRT!). It's probably at least part of why next to nobody cares (my stats are atrocious).
But I guess in *gestures around at everything*, I need the goodness. The sweetness, the natural beauty, the love (of various kinds)...I need the reminder that even while there is that ever present shadow, so is there also light. That kindness and generosity and selflessness are still possible.
