19/03/17 Sorry I haven't been posting, life has been crazy busy recently! Been making notes today on the monsoon climate in India/Asia so I decided to put it all onto a map like a true geographer. By any chance is anyone else studying Le Petit Prince for French A-Level or has in the past?
//Nearly done with summer reading// if you're studying geography or economics I highly recommend these two books. They're really well written and do cover a lot of topics you're bound to study (especially in AS and A2 geography). I also recommend When the Rivers Run Dry by Fred Pearce; it's a good prep book for A2.
Hey what tips do you have for geography revision?
Hi 🙋Well, when it comes to Geography, the revision process, in my opinion is the most difficult. This tends to be the amount of links and comparisons you have to make within your topic and your location/case study.I'm not sure what form of education you're in, but in England for A Level Geography, this is what I've found useful. Mind mapping - Visual aid in helping you make links.Note Cards - for learning Key Words, and those weird name for Volcanoes.A separate Notebook - Just for case studies, so that you can refer to them and learn them in full detail without feeling attacked by all the other information.Watching/Reading the news - you'll be easily retain information, and I can guarantee that current affairs will appear in your exam.Happy Studying 😊

today i splurged. bought new boots and i feel fabulous. also, i bought an inflatable globe which smells SO GOOD. you can just smell the geography from it... now time for work on the inter-tropical convergence zone
my final exam starts in 40 minutes. OHMYGODDDD. an hour and a half exam, and then that's it, i'm done with college foreveeeerrr. *internal screaming coz nervous as hell but so happy it's almost over.* let's hope the hard work pays off.
