Male Time In Shelter: *Over 2 months Intake Info: Brought in because his owner could no longer care for him. The source was asked to take him in but couldn’t. Behavior: Beau has a previous scratch history & reportedly it happened due to playing too rough. The son of the source was playing with Beau & he scratched him, to which he needed stitches. He’s strong on the leash, friendly & easy to handle. In the play group with other dogs, he was reactive towards other dogs & unsteerable once he fixated on another dog. He is highly overstimulated. Beau enjoys going after frogs in the yard, so it’s important to make sure he is supervised on his walks. Staff Notes: Did well for processing, a nice boy. Per the source, he doesn’t get along with other dogs, young kids, & he’s crate trained & housebroken. He likes to jump & is very high energy. Beau likes toys but will tear them up if unsupervised. Staff members who work with Beau notice he’s a good boy who likes to go outside, he has no issues being leashed up. He allows petting & is a happy boy! Request to Rescues: Beau is in URGENT need of rescue due to being reactive with other dogs & unsteerable once he becomes fixated.
