Shipping and Fandoms
It's come to The Strut's attention there are some people being jackasses in the 'Tumblr community' about whether to ship or not to ship certain pairings in this LOM/A2A fandom, (That's the question, said a bard.) I've seen this behavior in this fandom in a few places, not just here, so I felt it was a question to be addressed.
It's no question. Don't assume someone must appreciate your ship, and don't nail them when they don't. (Don't be condescending, don't be smarmy, don't be an ass.) Additionally, don't hate on shippers, and don't nail them for their ship. Also, don't rub other fans face in your ship or lack there of, for no reason than to try to be mean. I'll never understand why people feel the need to piss on other people's rainbows, for or against. You are not 'better' than the other fan.
This is a simple procedure. It's called not being a dick.
Be a fan. Fans are much more awesome, and supposedly, you're ALL fans...together of the same show(s). Try to act like it. Have a nice day.
