I don't like

What my mind is thinking.

Hands coming to me,

Cupped,

Are icy -

Dressed in coffee,

Dressed unlike individuality,

Dressed unlike my own

Company.

You remind me

Of each tunnel

Exhalting

My melody

Though, I can see

There is

No comfort

Leaving you

For me.

Delicate,

Is every word

I bricks and lead

Say

And poignant

Careless move

Frolicking children

Just before bed

And how

They hurriedly hide.

A rhythmic fumbling

That you wonder

Over time,

Being present,

Voiding any living

Focused, present

As the tides

Performing

Something, anything

That makes all the sense.

The kind that you take

Dancing 'round

My curious head.

The time you give,

One second,

Steals

One year,

It seems,

Culminating

The rivers,

Outstretched

Like fingers,

Wondering the veins.

For the flood

That is

Imminent.
