yurina is usually very calm during exhibitions bc for some reason she literally does not care what people say and she doesnt rly have any feelings about her creations. she creates to live but to say that she enjoys it is a far reach. she started sculpting and building things to get over failing a piano recital. she's never forgiven herself since, never felt so small and horrible, so she channels the inner turmoil in the displays she makes. less of an expression, more of a responsibility to make up for failure

ppl cant see the emptiness in yurina's works. if anything, they just find it weirdly boring, almost eccentric in a way that's far too complicated to understand. yurina figures its easier not to set up expectations-- the less ppl understand, the less inclined they are to be interested in whatever she does. that way, in the darkness, she wont be seen by people, or anyone, and not being seen means not being able to make a big enough failure to disappoint anyone.

when yurina gets into acting, i think a huge chunk of it is her being in doubt of her abilities.. the first time she stands on stage was after watching a mankai show... in the college auditorium, during the cool morning where the sun is barely awake, she sets up her displays... she misses the piano so much, misses the feeling of keys pressed on her fingertips. but she can never find it in her to touch a piano again, much less play anything. she thinks about autumn troupe, the way juza simulates having a gun in his hand despite having none. yurina wonders if she can do the same. maybe the piano is right there in front of her. maybe it still exists in the airy wisps of her fingers dancing on light air. maybe her heart is hurt but her body remembers, and maybe if she tried hard enough, even without the keys kissing her skin, she can just hear the faintest of music and the softest of teal tickling her ears.

itareon is like the least romantic couple out there theyre mostly reserved and ppl dont kno theyre a thing until they spend time with both extensively. theyre privately intimate in the sense that theyre more nonverbal and more the little things like itaru hunting items for reon or reon pulling for his gacha. reon likes dressing up in cosplay for her twitch streams and a lot of what she wears are things itaru bought her bc he likes seeing her in them. reon makes him cute packed lunches. theyre barely physical but emotionally theyre in tune.
