ok so as a big fan of both aradia and sollux i just. i gotta know. WHAT the fuck happened to them at the end here. like showing up to the final battle, we have aradia and double-eyepatch sollux, both alive. but this sollux is the one that had his ghost half turned into erisolsprite and joined (vriska)’s pirate crew. that means he’s from the pre-retcon timeline, and should’ve ceased to exist after john and roxy went back. 

but i mean maybe he and aradia were exempt from that because of the weird time shit in the furthest ring where the dream bubbles are, like. ok whatever. let’s go ahead and assume that. EVEN THEN, THERE’S STILL GOTTA BE ANOTHER ARADIA AND SOLLUX OUT THERE FROM THE POST-RETCON TIMELINE. aradia and sollux didn’t get the same opportunity that john and roxy got to meet with their denizens. they didn’t get The Choice where their post-retcon selves would die in their place like john’s and roxy’s did. 

so like are there just 2 living aradias and 2 living solluxes at the end of homestuck? i guess the implication is that they all just get sucked into a black hole with all the ghosts anyway or something so maybe it doesn’t matter, but i’d still like to know what the deal is there.
