Phoenix: It’s a fog machine. I wonder if they used it during the reception. Maya: Ooh! Maya: ...Hey, Nick. Go stand over there for a sec. Phoenix: Um, why...? Maya: Just because! Now, go! Phoenix: A-all right... Phoenix: (I’ve got a bad feeling about this...) Maya: Fog-Master 9000... ON! Phoenix: Maya, noooooo! ......... Huh? Maya: Aww, nothing happened. Phoenix: Looks like it won’t work without some dry ice. Maya: Darn it. All I wanted to do was surround you in a thick cloud of smoke... Phoenix: *sigh*

Miles has a crush on a man.
Phoenix also has a crush on a man.
Who are these men?
My first Narumitsu fic on AO3! I hope you like it! :D
oh geez
Does the fact that there are two pegabulls in the Flying Chapel, plus its symbol is a pegabull with a rainbow wing, mean that the staff also holds LGBTQ+ cerimonies? ‘Cause it would be magical (not to mention all the implied narumitsu symbolism the case represents).
Maya: Love flourishes in the face of adversity! Phoenix: Oh? Is that how it works? Maya: Yup! If you ever have any questions about love, just ask me! I’m a qualified expert! Maya: I spent all of my spare time in Khura’in watching soap operas on TV. Phoenix: I’m not sure that’s enough to make you a qualified anything, Maya...
Phoenix: This is the sweetheart table where the bride and groom sit. Maya: Where they gorge themselves on the wedding feast, you mean! Maya: I’d be too nervous to eat in front of a bunch of guests like this, though. Phoenix: They say that newlyweds are usually really busy during the reception, you know. Phoenix: They have to greet and talk with all the guests that came to give their blessings. Phoenix: They don’t actually get all that much time to enjoy their dinner. Maya: Aww... I wouldn’t be able to stand that... Maya: I can’t imagine having a huge feast right in front of me and not being able to eat it! Phoenix: They say brides tend to have an especially hard time because of their wedding dresses. Phoenix: With those tight corsets squeezing their waists, they can barely eat a bite. Maya: Really...? Maya: It sounds like wedding receptions are absolute torture... Phoenix: (I guess food still wins out over romance in Maya’s book.)
