don't think i've seen anyone mention this but. irving drew the portrait of ms. casey for the missing poster, right? who else would have drawn something/how else would they have gotten a drawing of her without other departments finding out? irving has his own Stuff going on, sure, but also! ms. casey's first scene being with irving and that scene being the only time we see her actually doing her job in full (without the added tension of her being retired in her session with mark s). her helping irving feel more connected to his outie even though she was supposed to do the opposite. irving meeting burt for the very first time in her waiting room. irving being the stickler for rules but after the session with ms. casey, everything changed. idk something something irving wants to help mark s. get ms.casey/gemma back for his outie because irv can never have burt back, even when he IS his outie.
