Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde | Robert Louis Stevenson | Aesthetics
Gothic Lit. | Wuthering Heights | Book Hoarding
Alice: This is my loan-to-others-I-trust copy, although it does blend in with a bunch of other classics on my bookshelves and I tend to lose it a lot. in fact, I “found” it again last week when I was hunting for my children’s edition of Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde. Which reminds me: Jule I have to send children’s J&H to you, it’s fab!
Jule: Okay, does not sound like the first book I would make a children’s edition of, but sure! On the topic of book hoarding, by the way: I admire people who have multiple copies of books. With classics, I can only get myself to go to the library or get the cheapest possibly ebook because the chances are high that I am not going to like it and then at least not much money was wasted.
Beware; for I am fearless, and therefore powerful.

Thus strangely are our souls constructed, and by slight ligaments are we bound to prosperity and ruin.
