I have a long night of work ahead of me and I'm caffeinated beyond belief. This one is in MUCH better spirits now that she is regularly medicated (isn't that how it goes?) and this is the first moment she hasn't licked me since I got home. Yes this hoodie has a hole right in the front but this hoodie also has a lot of stories it could tell. One being that I fell in love with it and had to wait 3 years to have it. This one gave me quite a scare this weekend. She is doing better but it's been ruff. Ha. This thing is my family so keep her in your thoughts if you can. If you know her, and she hasn't growled at you, I'm sure you know how I feel. Hug your babies. She is my world. #aadigetajob

It's #nationalparentsday and 7ish years ago I reluctantly chose to "parent" the quiet, shaky, shifty ass dog in the back of the cages at the humane society. 1. I didn't want a dog. 2. I didn't want a chihuahua. 3. I was a cat person. So this ugly thing came into my life and now, the thought of not having her paralyzes me. I talk to her more than anyone else. She knows all my secrets and weird midnight peanut butter in my underwear eating habits. She loudly sighs to indicate judgment, but I feel she is usually right. She has great taste in music (except she loves Despacito, but we all have our things) and she is the first to tell me if my outfit is "all wrong". They say you can't choose your family. Technically they're right, I didn't choose her....at first. But now she is mine and I can't imagine not having this little meatloaf attached to my side every night, even if my sheets and black apparel are always covered in dog hair. She doesn't care that I haven't washed my hair since Wednesday and I have a zit on my chin and I probably won't be that productive again today. But...she is mine. #aadigetajob

It's been a crazy few days. Honestly. In a good way. My brain is fried from being "creative" but it's actually starting to come together. I think today calls for some much needed couch time with this one before diving back in this week. Procrastination is my weakness and it won't kick my ass. Not this time. #aadigetajob
