nakedtoaster: brushing your teeth together in the morning on a lazy saturday. your hair is totally fucked, their hair is totally fucked, and yet you both smile in the mirror at each other.

quest: the feeling of your hand in his on a walk around the city. it can be on an errand, on a date, anything. it's grounding and warm.

xyx: sitting in silence and reading together. it's even better if you're leaning against him. connection without forcing anything at all -- real comfort.

nightowl: texting. he just likes being able to talk to you wherever he is. it reminds him of the bp server days, in a way. like, oop, there they are online again! makes him smile.

major: doing the dishes together, side-by-side. it's a quiet team effort, filled with little jokes and jabs and pointless conversations. it's a time he feels like he can genuinely relax.

felix: sitting in waiting rooms with an arm over your shoulders. he can be quiet, think about work, and still get to be connected to you. a moment where time feels a little slower -- in a good way.

sungho: showing tiktoks to each other that only the two of you would love. building that sense of humor together makes him feel even more connected to you.

jerri: wearing each others' clothes. you're just both so comfortable with each other that you don't even comment on it anymore. it's very gay of you honestly.

If your characters were a pantheon, what would each be god of?

OOOOO!!

Major - Death

The most powerful of all the gods. Devout followers scatter lycoris flowers every new years eve as a prayer for one year longer with their loved ones.

Nakedtoaster - Memory

The keeper of all known history. Those who follow them tend to be doctors or students -- they offer burnt written memories on a pyre when they seek blessings.

Jerri - War

In times of conflict, all seek her favor. She isn't particularly interested in selecting a victor, however -- she'd much prefer it if the war could rage on forever.

Nightowl - Beauty

Many adore him, and many fear him. His temples and ceremonies are the most beautiful of all the gods, but skip one week of worship, and you'll never escape his wrath.

Felix - Family

A humble god. He holds no temples and encourages no worship, but still families will find themselves humming folk songs about him on cold nights around a warm fire for comfort.

Xyx - Abyss

A strange, misunderstood god. His followers are scattered on the road as eternal wanderers. If you stop them and meet their eyes, the god himself will grin back at you.

Sungho - Sun

An explosive entity among the gods. His booming laugh is often mistaken for thunder on stormy days when he sits above the clouds. When the clouds part and he appears, all rejoice.

Quest - Moon

The silent brother of the sun. Nobody has heard him speak a word, and his followers cut their tongues out and take lifelong vows of silence. Many claim to have seen him standing on mountains alone.

What songs/sounds do the bloomic and adonia LIs use as their alarms?

uses a "morning vibe" song they like: Sungho, Nightowl (probs swaps his out the most often), Xyx (on days off), Major

uses smth jarring: Jerri, Nightowl (on do or die exam days)

Felix would like a trinket, singular, that has some special meaning/sentimental value– like a souvenir from a vacation you both took.

Sungho would prob like smth that can hang off his bag, or any kind of trinket that's easy to carry around!

Jerri would love love love weird and goofy trinkets, something one of a kind from an offbeat art store or the depths of a thrift shop that makes her ask how the hell you found it.

Major would adore them all– one in his office, one on his nightstand, and anywhere else that he can look to often when he needs smth to make him smile.

(for anyone confused: beige flags are little things your partner or spouse does that makes you go "...???" but ultimately has no effect on your relationship or perception of them)

quest - murmurs "alright" whenever he turns the page of a book

nightowl - stops working randomly to lean back in his chair and shout at the ceiling to get his energy out

xyx - has a jar on the counter full of one part cat food and one part health-nut cereal brand. the cat food looks exactly like the cereal

toast - avoids eating peanuts, but does not have a peanut allergy, nor does he dislike the taste of peanuts

jerri - mixes gamer blood (her energy drink of choice) with cough syrup when she's sick. calls it miracle blood

felix - has to grip something (like a wall, a desk, a shoulder) painfully firmly before he sneezes

major - goes "oooooo" and raises his eyebrows whenever he sees a discount, any discount at all

Since I’m Australian, I’d like to ask: out of both Bloomic and AA, who is the best and worst at timezone difference while calling? IE who would stay up if it was afternoon the next day for MC or morning calls while it would be late at night for MC?

Nightowl and Xyx are no strangers to wrecking their sleep schedules so it would take the usual adjustment but otherwise run p smoothly. That said, for u in particular considering you're both Australian Xyx wouldn't have to change his alarms–but he would try to get you to join in on ribbing "these other jokers from the wrong hemisphere". 

Quest gets up pretty early so he can try to nudge things a little further in that direction; he'll even take you along for his morning run! Enjoy going on an adventure in his shirt pocket. He apologizes for yawning on call every time.

Toasty sleeps at odd hours as well; it may take a bit of work but they're willing to keep a regular sleep schedule for you. It's worth getting to say good morning/good night when one of you is audibly sleepy <3

Felix probably wouldn't adjust his schedule, but he'll time his calls at the best time for both of you, and send a scheduled "Good morning." text. He never misses a call.

Major is very similar, but he also sends you a spreadsheet showing the best times to call, and puts more reminders in his phone; he'd make things align so you two can also share a longer call when possible. I could see him making a special occasion out of it!

Sungho would proceed similarly to Quest, but get a huge kick out of taking you on adventures. Time your evening/morning workouts to match up and you'll get a good dose of encouragement. Late night beer with early morning coffee would also become a common ritual! 

Jerri will probably be up at that time anyway. Keep her company! Sometimes it's less talking and more existing on the same call together, but even those lulls in conversation are treasured. Both of you can listen to each other's sleepy voices, the scraping of kitchen tools as breakfast prep begins, the clacking of a mechanical keyboard…she loves them all.
