V Interview: “Boys Need Hugs Too”
They may look like ice cool lads, but V have got a slushy side, too.
V looked cool in our winter wonderland, but when they saw our SH! polar bear, the went soppy and let slip the stuff that makes them feel all soft and fluffy!
Hard talk
Kevin: This polar bear is so cute. Girls think boys act tough all the time but we have feelings too.
Leon: Ant's the hardest V boy, no question. I'd never mess with him.
Mark: He alwas puffs his chest out when there are girls around.
Ant: I do not!
Cry babies
Ant: I don't think I've ever cried over a girl.
Mark: I have. If I get really angry I cry. I can't get my words out.
Kevin: Why do girls cry when boys do romantic stuff?
Ant: I've never understood that. We're just being nice!
Kevin: I get emotional when I go home, because it's good to see my friends and family. Leon: Me too! I had a little sniffle on the train the other day, I was coming back from Cardiff.
Aaron: I just tend to bottle things up and sulk.
Dating dilemmas
Aaron: I've decided - dating fans is the way foward. It's so hard to meet nice girls, and famous girls are just players.
Mark: It's been ages since I dated someone I really liked. You know when you go on a date and you just want to call her straight after?
Ant: I try to play hard to get when I'm dating, but I'm not very good at it. It's such a laddy thing to do, isn't it?
Aaron: It's because we're scared of getting hurt. I wish it was easy to be confident around girls.
Girlie Moment
Ant: The other day, I saw Mark smearing cocoa butler over himself after having a bath. What was that about?
Mark: At least I don't use facemasks, like Kev.
Kev: Oi!
Leon: It's good to look after our appearance. But we're not a girlie band.
Aaron:No, but we do hug each other sometimes. Just don't tell anone, all right?
Mark:There are times when you need a hug. My favourite hugs are jigsaw ones, where you just totally fit together. Erm, I mean, I hate all that mushy stuff, really!
