Hello there.
As you can probably tell by my lack off reblogs, postings and stuff I am considerably new to Tumblr. Although I have had my Tumblr page for over a year this is the first time I am actually following people, and legitimately trying to get into the whole Tumblr thing.
So first, I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Aaron, I am 16 years old and live in South Australia. Australia is a nice country and all but I'd like to travel outside of this country and plan to do so as soon as possible. The town I live in is considerably small and I would love to move to a larger city where I can forget about driving everywhere and instead ride my bike or walk and basically live life how I want to. I am currently in the 11th grade and I am finishing this school year in a weeks time (and yes, I am going to school next year). Once I finish school I'd love to just travel and do freelance photography and filming, however, I doubt I will end up doing that. I will most probably become and accountant or something and do that freelance work on the side until I am able to support myself on that and/or I have enough money, assets, etc. to just retire and then I will move to the freelance work. Anyway, I am talking too much about my future, let me talk about myself now. Besides school, I work part time and make videos on YouTube. My channels are AaronMonaghanTv and AddedAaron (you can access those links from my profile, I think that is what they are called on here, I don't know, I'm new here.) I don't have many friends, and for that reason I spend most of my time on the Internet or making videos, I try to keep myself busy and always have something to do just so I don't get too bored. I currently film my videos on a JCV Everio GZ-HM200 that I bought for myself in 9th grade (almost 3 years ago), and very soon I am updating to Canon 60D, and yes, I will be spending a whole lot of money on lenses and stuff when I get it. Despite my camera (which still films reasonably well, just not what I want anymore.) I have a green screen which is really just a 2 meter by 3 meter piece of green cloth I bought at a store. I also have a blue screen which I got when I brought 3 soft box lights a few months ago, and I am very happy with them. I currently edit on Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5.
That paragraph was way too long, so I decided to just start a new one so it doesn't annoy you as much. I hate reading big pieces of text with no breaks. I am getting the Canon 60D not just for filming but because I also love photography and currently my best camera is in my Samsung Galaxy Note, other than that I just have digital cameras, which is the reason I am buying a DSLR. I love computers and most things about them. I have a 2011 Sandy-BridgeiMac, a Samsung Series 3, and an older Toshiba Satellite. My iMac runs OSX Mountain Lion and I hope that one day I will be able to get two external monitors for it and run Windows 8 and Linux on Parallels through it. My Series 3 runs on Windows 8, and I may set it up so I can dual-boot Windows 8 and Linux through it. My older Toshiba Satellite I no longer use, but I will be using it again very soon when I put Linux onto it via dual-boot as I want to test it out before I put it onto my Series 3, currently it runs Windows 7. Eventually I plan to have all of my computers Macs, and run the other OSs via programs such as Parallels. I always, feel as if I am going to run out of characters, it is weird. I am too used to Twitter (currently I have tweeted just over 12,000 times).
Soon I plan to create music. I have in the past tried guitar, drums, and bass guitar and gave up after I had realised I was terrible. I never practiced, I loved them at first, but eventually I just lost interest in them. I kind of regret playing all those instruments because all it lead to was the realisation of the fact that I was not an good at playing them, space being filled in my cupboards and my families shed (in my wardrobe I have a bass guitar, a guitar, an amplifier, drumsticks and a cymbal, and in my families shed I have two drum kits that are just deteriorating due to the weather.), and a fair amount of my childhood savings wasted. The music I plan on creating would be made on my iMac using Logic and a controller (yes, there will be yet another electronically music artist.), both of which I still have to buy, but it is computer based music so I think I will enjoy it more. So many things I have just given up on and the only thing I have not given up on is making YouTube videos, oh and Photoshop. I didn't mention that I Photoshopped, did I?
On the Internet I probably seem very sociable. However, if you ever meet me in real life you will probably realise I am one of the most awkward people out there. I'd love to sit and have a conversation with you and be friends but I'd most probably just shut you out. I would not do that just to be mean, it is just because I honestly think that no one really wants to talk to me and I will most probably only talk to you if there is something interesting to talk about. I'll try but if I am not what you expect, I apologise in advance.
For a while this Tumblr will probably be me just reblogging, posting blogs, info, and videos I made on YouTube but eventually I will be sharing music and photographs I have created and taken as well. I've tried Tumblr many times before but every time I just haven't got into it, I hope I do this time though. As I am pretty new to this whole Tumblr thing, let me know of some people, blogs, etc. I should follow. Wow, you are still reading this? Congratulations! Let me know by leaving a comment or something on this blog (thats how it works, right?). Despite the title of this blog it was considerably large, oh well. Hopefully I will get into this whole Tumblr thing.
That was a 1,100 word blog. Wow, I wrote something LARGER than an essay just for fun? What? Thats crazy! More to come soon, but they will probably be shorter.
